This didn’t age well. Rosanna is literally so unproblematic, and the only time she involves herself is drama, people turn against her. And now she’s standing up for herself again, because people will finally listen to her, especially after Mr Beast’s drama surrounding Kris.
Exactly, I was on Rosanna's side, I just didn't like how she brought politics into this and was about unsub from her but decided not to, now I don't know what's going on, because I saw this video from a fired employee and now I'm on Ros side just not too sure on the political side of things with Mrbeast.
Honestly, I was on the fence not picking a particular side, because I felt like a lot of the media that was trying to cancel Mr beast just seemed off and were not covered professionally. Common things like spelling errors and grammar mistakes. Just made me doubt the credibility. Seeing Rosanna, an other wise unproblematic youtuber have video cover Mr. Beast drama was what made me rethink the whole situation and got me thinking that there was more validity in the all of things being said.

Brett is a political channel who does covers like this on the side. So I think that’s the reason why she does not have full knowledge on this. The same thing can be seen in other of her videos, people also complain it was poorly researched.
Honestly this is one of those things that one would expect people to handle like adults. Even if this still bothered her two years later the most this should have amounted to was a dm or call to Mr. Beast about how she felt about it and that’s it. Nothing needed to be public, RUclips didn’t need to be tagged and it for sure didn’t need to be the main talking point on a podcast.
If you watch her videos, you can see how childish she is. I watched a collab she did with Matt Stoney, and even though he was trying to teach her something, she was being childish and wasn't taking it seriously at all.

When I was 6 I was playing a hide and seek game during recess. I was a seeker. I had found my classmate, but she lied to everyone saying that I didn't. I never spoke out against it because I thought no one would ever believe a black person. It still haunts me to this day. I wish I would have said something. So that You Tuber speaking out against what Mr.Beast did, gave me courage to contact my classmates from over a decade ago who I haven't talked to in years, and call her out for what she did.
All of this got blown out of proportion over hide and seek. I think both sides have a fault on the matter. One for making this a bigger deal than it really is, and the other for not being completely honest in the content and for not even thinking of apologizing and just moving on. Doesn't help that death threats were being targeted towards anyone over a hide and seek game as well. Hopefully both Rosanna and Mr Beast can find a way to move on from all of this and maybe both learn from this unnecessary experience

As a video editor, I'm 99% sure Mr. Beast's editing team cut her footage because it wasn't as entertaining as the others. I never ever limited someones part in a video solely based on gender or anything superficial like that. Its all about putting the best footage together in a good presentation. Especially because they probably have a length limit on the video and have to choose from HOURS of footage.

I love Ro so much, and really like Mr Beast as well, but I have to say that I was surprised by this. I remember watching the video and it was weird the way she was eliminated, and supposedly Zach wasn’t the actual winner, and it was someone else. I do think to wait for 2 years is odd as well. I was very disappointed by the whole thing, because I really love Ro, but I don’t get it.
I liked Ro (dipped in and out); but what clinched it for me was her privately dming Mr.Beast AFTER blasting him, refusing to have a private call, then taking those private dms public. It reeks of "I didn't get the drama I wanted in writing, so I'll just blast these dms anyway." It's not a good look.
It was Zach. Although he was supposed to be eliminated for breaking a rule, he wasn't. I think Quacky would've been the winner since he was second, but when he came out with a video talking about it, he wasn't even upset. Plus, the money that first place won, was going to the charity of their choice. I don't understand why people are so upset when the money was still donated either way.
I don't think there is anything wrong with her being a little upset. Even if someone is not competitive they are aware of how well they have done. It's a self-pride that usually a non-competitive person doesn't share. I think it would have been something to be proud of and maybe she had told others how well she did. Now when these people look they don't see her as doing as well as she said. No one wants to be looked at as a liar or someone who embellishes truth. I understand why Mr Beast did what he did and it makes sense. I'm not going to say she does not have a right to be a little upset. She is bringing it up because that's the way she felt about it. It's getting blown up by other people who are looking for anyway to bring down Mr Beast. Sometimes it's hard to believe but the true story is sometimes the best story to tell. Keeping it more real than worrying about Logan Paul's followers might in the long run been a better story. When we look back at for example sports stories and underdog coming out of nowhere and getting close sometimes turns out to be the big story that year when it's looked back upon. I don't believe he did it out of malice and for the right now it looks like it was a decision made for a good reason. Only time will tell if it could have been a better story if it was told more honestly.

I honestly think Ro brought this up as conversation, not drama. When it started to catch wind, it got blown way out of proportion and she tried to keep up with it all, realizing how her statement was percieved by the community. I feel for her, those long shoots are probably not easy, and it is hard to not get anything out of that time sacrificed to be in this huge video. But at the end of it all, I agree that it really isn't a big deal. RUclips is not easy to turn into a career, but you can't always win on the gambles you take.
The difference is she tried to chase Mr.Beast into his dms, refused to have a one-on-one call (which means she won't be able to record), then took those private dms public... which kiiiiiiiiinda means she wanted a gotcha to blast in the first place. Maybe those methods could be justified in some extent; but it also makes Mr.Beast look smart to not type back and forth. So, not a good look for her.
@danieller7077 That is where I think it started to get too big. Ro has never really caused drama like this before. When people sided with her, I think that is why she pushed it further. I do agree that wasn't a good look, which led her to try and apologize and walk back on what she'd said and done. Again, making the hole deeper for herself. I may be a bit biased, I grew up watching Rosanna's videos and never have really got caught up in Mr. Beast's channel. But something seems off about both sides.
I’m a background actor and sometimes we work for multiple 12-14 hour days filming scenes and guess what , half the time it’s cut. I don’t think it’s his fault. It’s the editors. Sometime these pieces don’t get put in for multiple reasons.
If she got third place then she got third place... calling her and telling people she got anything other than third place is deceptive and manipulative... Mr beast deserves to be called out for it. It doesnt matter how small the competition is... And yes she should have brought it up immediatly...
If placing 3rd gave money to her charity, it would matter. But like Brett said, the only one getting money is the first place finisher. Mr. Beast was smart not to engage with her through text. 1 wrong text could really cause damage. Just let the man keep doing his charity work. She filmed an mv to tribute her dad that passed away right after? What if she’s just uploading a video like she normally does? She is strict on her uploads. And the things she said after this video was uploaded where she tried to clarify things I totally see her feelings as totally valid. It’s just a game to people watching. It’s just the Olympics, it’s just the World Cup but for the people competing it’s the gold medal and in Mr beast case it was a million dollars which Ro was trying to emphasize. Rosanna just wanted to show her community that she did try hard for them and that she cares about them to that degree. And she’s also upset that Zach was wrongfully awarded because she felt that quackity should’ve won the money since Zach broke the rules and that if Rosanna was to break rules like that she’d be cut out and Jimmy and the boys would’ve make a big deal of her breaking rules.
Yeah, i agree. 2 years is way too long to hold onto something like that, and have it cause you stress and mental anguish. You need to keep moving forward. I can see being down or upset for a few days or week, but you let that moment infect your life for 2 years that you'll never get back. Life's too short in my opinion.

Jimmy is a good man. He's actually doing wonderful things that I've dreamed of being able to do for people if I had the money. My mom was blind for 2 years from cataracts and we couldn't afford her surgery. I paid her bills and mine because she kept getting denied disability. I was also poor so it was hard. It was a charity that got her the surgery so when I saw Jimmy do the same for those people...how can you not love him? He could be buying all this stupid crap but he helps people
I think her real issue with it all was being lied to and lied about, even if only in a small way, all for views. Rosanna had to come to terms with the fact that Mr. Beast just sees everyone as a viewership generator, and therefore a money maker. He may do nice, even life changing things for people, but you have to keep in mind that he'd never do those things if he didn't get views and millions of dollars for it. And she had the sad realization that doing Anything with him in the future could result in her being lied about. Which sucks, tbh 😂

One of the issues with this is that MrBeast makes a huge deal out of his videos being "real." It isn't the end of the world that they aren't, but I don't think it's out of line for a contest participant to point out if he lied about something.

FINALLY someone I can relate to! I was misrepresented in a recent game of tag. The GUY who was “it”tried to tag me but only touched my clothes… I am clearly NOT my clothes but everyone said I was tagged. I have been suffering ever since by this injustice. It helps to know though that someone else out there has experienced my pain and I am not the only one crying myself to sleep at night.

My assumption was that something like this was more about the exposure than the prize. They're creators, like you Brett. What would be fair is that the winner gets the most time on camera, the second place the second most and so on. If she got third and didn't get any air time, yeah, she got screwed.

I don't think Mr. Beast is terrible or anything but I do kinda understand her being frustrated. I personally would also be annoyed if I felt like I had done a good job (third place is pretty good even if its not first) and was made to look like I did worse. But yes this is definitely being blown out of proportion. I just do somewhat understand her feelings being hurt.
I was involved in show business most of my life. Movies get made that never get released. Commercials get made and never air. People (sometimes famous people) get totally cut from movies or their part gets cut to one line. A good editor and director will edit film to make it more exciting or interesting. Get over it!

I agree with a lot of things Brett says in this video, but not everything. I think it is wrong for Mr. Beast to edit the video to make it look like Rosanna did worse than she actually did. (Assuming that decision was deliberate) It's just deceptive. However, Rosanna shared the texts between her and Mr. Beast in which he seemed very open to try to make things right. I got the impression that she called him out publicly without giving him some time to work things out with her. He seems to be a very busy guy, and from what I've observed so far, he seemed to handle the situation as well as possible. This could all be a big misunderstanding and I think it would be a good idea to wait for more information to come out before assigning blame on anyone involved
I will say editing a game to make Logan rank higher is strange, and goes against what people thought of Mr. Beast videos-as being “real”. That’s not his right, in my opinion. On the other hand, editing a hide and seek game isn’t the worst thing to happen. I hope the two talk on the phone, even if it must be a recorded line.

I'm a film editor if an actor or a character is not that interesting we edit them out. it's just what we need to do our first priority is giving audience good time. not which actor or creator gets most screen tie its about who drives and makes the film or video interesting.
Yeah no this video is so emotional and not informational at all. All she did was talk about it on a podcast stating her feelings were hurt, and then post a screenshot of her and Mr. Beasts DMs which in my opinion, he did not respond in the best way. The only problem I have with Mr. Beast is his Trans friend Kris. it's amazing how much he has grown over the years . I started watching him in 2018, so I've seen him gain 180 million subs.
I do not like how someone feeling negative about a creator is the same as them contributing to cancel culture. The girl is talking, quite respectfully, in a podcast about an experience that she had and how she felt. How is this her cancelling him? He is a huge creator and her being in the video for a longer period of time would have meant longer exposure to an audience of MILLIONS. As an influencer, I thought Brett would understand.

I've been watching MrBeast since he made videos making fun of horrible RUclips intros/outros that little kids made. It's actually quite astounding how many times he could have been canceled and wasn't. But the guy's a RUclips genius, so he'll rebound every single time.

Exactly, I was on Rosanna's side, I just didn't like how she brought politics into this and was about unsub from her but decided not to, now I don't know what's going on, because I saw this video from a fired employee and now I'm on Ros side just not too sure on the political side of things with Mrbeast.
Honestly, I was on the fence not picking a particular side, because I felt like a lot of the media that was trying to cancel Mr beast just seemed off and were not covered professionally. Common things like spelling errors and grammar mistakes. Just made me doubt the credibility. Seeing Rosanna, an other wise unproblematic youtuber have video cover Mr. Beast drama was what made me rethink the whole situation and got me thinking that there was more validity in the all of things being said.

All of this got blown out of proportion over hide and seek. I think both sides have a fault on the matter. One for making this a bigger deal than it really is, and the other for not being completely honest in the content and for not even thinking of apologizing and just moving on. Doesn't help that death threats were being targeted towards anyone over a hide and seek game as well. Hopefully both Rosanna and Mr Beast can find a way to move on from all of this and maybe both learn from this unnecessary experience

As a video editor, I'm 99% sure Mr. Beast's editing team cut her footage because it wasn't as entertaining as the others.

I love Ro so much, and really like Mr Beast as well, but I have to say that I was surprised by this. I remember watching the video and it was weird the way she was eliminated, and supposedly Zach wasn’t the actual winner, and it was someone else. I do think to wait for 2 years is odd as well. I was very disappointed by the whole thing, because I really love Ro, but I don’t get it.
I liked Ro (dipped in and out); but what clinched it for me was her privately dming Mr.Beast AFTER blasting him, refusing to have a private call, then taking those private dms public. It reeks of "I didn't get the drama I wanted in writing, so I'll just blast these dms anyway." It's not a good look.
It was Zach. Although he was supposed to be eliminated for breaking a rule, he wasn't. I think Quacky would've been the winner since he was second, but when he came out with a video talking about it, he wasn't even upset. Plus, the money that first place won, was going to the charity of their choice. I don't understand why people are so upset when the money was still donated either way.
I don't think there is anything wrong with her being a little upset. Even if someone is not competitive they are aware of how well they have done. It's a self-pride that usually a non-competitive person doesn't share. I think it would have been something to be proud of and maybe she had told others how well she did. Now when these people look they don't see her as doing as well as she said. No one wants to be looked at as a liar or someone who embellishes truth. I understand why Mr Beast did what he did and it makes sense. I'm not going to say she does not have a right to be a little upset. She is bringing it up because that's the way she felt about it. It's getting blown up by other people who are looking for anyway to bring down Mr Beast.
Sometimes it's hard to believe but the true story is sometimes the best story to tell. Keeping it more real than worrying about Logan Paul's followers might in the long run been a better story. When we look back at for example sports stories and underdog coming out of nowhere and getting close sometimes turns out to be the big story that year when it's looked back upon. I don't believe he did it out of malice and for the right now it looks like it was a decision made for a good reason. Only time will tell if it could have been a better story if it was told more honestly.

I may be a bit biased, I grew up watching Rosanna's videos and never have really got caught up in Mr. Beast's channel. But something seems off about both sides.
I’m a background actor and sometimes we work for multiple 12-14 hour days filming scenes and guess what , half the time it’s cut. I don’t think it’s his fault. It’s the editors. Sometime these pieces don’t get put in for multiple reasons.

It’s just the Olympics, it’s just the World Cup but for the people competing it’s the gold medal and in Mr beast case it was a million dollars which Ro was trying to emphasize. Rosanna just wanted to show her community that she did try hard for them and that she cares about them to that degree. And she’s also upset that Zach was wrongfully awarded because she felt that quackity should’ve won the money since Zach broke the rules and that if Rosanna was to break rules like that she’d be cut out and Jimmy and the boys would’ve make a big deal of her breaking rules.
Yeah, i agree. 2 years is way too long to hold onto something like that, and have it cause you stress and mental anguish. You need to keep moving forward. Jimmy is a good man. He's actually doing wonderful things that I've dreamed of being able to do for people if I had the money. My mom was blind for 2 years from cataracts and we couldn't afford her surgery. I paid her bills and mine because she kept getting denied disability. I was also poor so it was hard. It was a charity that got her the surgery so when I saw Jimmy do the same for those people...how can you not love him? He could be buying all this stupid crap but he helps people
I think her real issue with it all was being lied to and lied about, even if only in a small way, all for views. Rosanna had to come to terms with the fact that Mr. Beast just sees everyone as a viewership generator, and therefore a money maker. He may do nice, even life changing things for people, but you have to keep in mind that he'd never do those things if he didn't get views and millions of dollars for it. And she had the sad realization that doing Anything with him in the future could result in her being lied about. Which sucks, tbh 😂

FINALLY someone I can relate to! I was misrepresented in a recent game of tag. The GUY who was “it”tried to tag me but only touched my clothes… I am clearly NOT my clothes but everyone said I was tagged. I have been suffering ever since by this injustice. It helps to know though that someone else out there has experienced my pain and I am not the only one crying myself to sleep at night.
If someone cries because they lost at a hide and seek game played 2 years ago for charity and makes it all about themselves instead of the charity tells you everything you need to know about who she truly is and what important to her and only her. Gonna be one of those woman crying at 60 because no man wanted her crazy butt.

Quackity said this a year ago about being edited even though he was second and he wasn't put on blast. It seems society will disagree with women and say drama without listening to both sides.

My assumption was that something like this was more about the exposure than the prize. They're creators, like you Brett. What would be fair is that the winner gets the most time on camera, the second place the second most and so on. If she got third and didn't get any air time, yeah, she got screwed.

i also really like rosanna, but i think she is exaggerating and stretching this. but also with jimmy’s side, he’s always marketed himself as a wholesome and honest person with authenticity in all his videos. that’s his brand. and with rosanna, it’s opened a can of worms that goes against his entire channel, it is hurtful to viewers and fans, especially since most of them are very young and take his word on anything.
i’m not on any one side, because i find both of them to be very weird in how they’re acting and handling this situation. i honestly think it might be a planned / controlled or stunt to get both of them more views, as they’ve both hit a plateau in views and streams. just a theory tho 🤷🏽♀️

I don't think Mr. Beast is terrible or anything but I do kinda understand her being frustrated. I personally would also be annoyed if I felt like I had done a good job (third place is pretty good even if its not first) and was made to look like I did worse. But yes this is definitely being blown out of proportion. I just do somewhat understand her feelings being hurt.

I was involved in show business most of my life. Movies get made that never get released. Commercials get made and never air. People (sometimes famous people) get totally cut from movies or their part gets cut to one line. A good editor and director will edit film to make it more exciting or interesting. Get over it!

In the past, Jimmy has said how important it is to him to create content that is entertaining and promotes retention and as such, in the past, has not featured certain people as much because they weren’t as “entertaining” as the next person. It’s obviously nothing personal, he has a business to run at the end of the day. He didn’t become the number one RUclipsr for no reason.
Whether she intended it or not, by crying sexism and trying to bait/cancel MrBeast, men are going to come away from this even more cautious and less likely to deal with women who might try and take them down.

I agree with a lot of things Brett says in this video, but not everything. I think it is wrong for Mr. Beast to edit the video to make it look like Rosanna did worse than she actually did. (Assuming that decision was deliberate) It's just deceptive. However, Rosanna shared the texts between her and Mr. Beast in which he seemed very open to try to make things right. I got the impression that she called him out publicly without giving him some time to work things out with her. He seems to be a very busy guy, and from what I've observed so far, he seemed to handle the situation as well as possible. This could all be a big misunderstanding and I think it would be a good idea to wait for more information to come out before assigning blame on anyone involved
I will say editing a game to make Logan rank higher is strange, and goes against what people thought of Mr. Beast videos-as being “real”. That’s not his right, in my opinion.

I'm a film editor if an actor or a character is not that interesting we edit them out. it's just what we need to do our first priority is giving audience good time. not which actor or creator gets most screen tie its about who drives and makes the film or video interesting.

Yeah no this video is so emotional and not informational at all. All she did was talk about it on a podcast stating her feelings were hurt, and then post a screenshot of her and Mr. Beasts DMs which in my opinion, he did not respond in the best way. A lot of people are also painting her in a worse light instead of looking at both sides saying that this is her 'biggest issue' when it isn't? She's just complaining like anyone would because they got edited out of the video which she said she went through more heavily with scream queens so it's understandable. Watching the video and reading the comments, all of it is just misdirected anger, angry at people who are cancelling him and directing it towards Rosanna who just talked about it. (Also Mr. Beast has a HUGE fanbase this would literally not hurt him at all)
The only problem I have with Mr. Beast is his Trans friend Kris. it's amazing how much he has grown over the years . I started watching him in 2018, so I've seen him gain 180 million subs.

The girl is talking, quite respectfully, in a podcast about an experience that she had and how she felt. How is this her cancelling him? He is a huge creator and her being in the video for a longer period of time would have meant longer exposure to an audience of MILLIONS. As an influencer, I thought Brett would understand.
