I have followed Everton the 55 years I have been alive and I've have met David Moyes twice. I remember we were in bad shape when he arrived and he improved things year after year on a shoestring budget. We were always punching above our weight. We had our best players poached every transfer window including Rooney and Arteta and more. He did well for us and I think we were lucky to have him. I was sorry to hear he went to Manure and think that his downfall was the big egos in his squad. When the Glaziers heard that he had lost his players belief in him then he was sacked. I predict David will take the Newcastle job. I predict Martinez will be tempted away to Arsenal and we will start next season with Tony Pullis.

Even when they were successful we knew there was something wrong with Manchester United: the club had sold its soul to corporate. It was no more a club of fans but club of/for corporate money. The change from Tommy Doc's Red Army to Theatre Of Dreams is also the story of decay of football supporting culture. The club itself is like Monaco only with 10 times bigger crowd but actually as boring atmosphere. That's why success is not always good for football club. No wonder why more and more people are despising ManUtd now.

"Martinez was handed a much better structure. He didn't have to start from scratch."
Unlike the poor soul who inherited the runaway champions?
    LOL!

These guys talk such nonsense. Money talks in football these days. I think united will strengthen and am guessing moyes has one or two more football season to get his team together.

In only eight short months, it shows how short sighted, outdated and misinformed these so-called football experts are.
