I agree with a lot of what the panel said, but I disagree that Mourinho's is damaged goods and cannot repair this Chelsea team. The essential problem with the Chelsea of 2013/2014 is the lack of a clinical striker to break down teams who defend very deep and use a big guy upfront to draw free kicks. Mourinho has done a lot with this group this year. He's been mostly right tactically and in terms of approach. The games where Chelsea have failed to break down smaller teams, Chelsea dominated both possession and chances, again difference being the strikers weren't clinical enough to score when it was needed. I think people can judge Mourinho next season when he buys the players that he feels will improve this team particularly up front.

This is the funniest shit ive ever seen. Nr 1 he didnt have any real def midfielders Matic (cuptied), under real madrid he won the league with the most points and most goals EVER in la liga and that is during the golden barca era. He simply didnt have the team this year really. He didnt have a real striker, the whole season and he still did better than Arsenal. they dont have a proper playmaker in Özil class.

He struggled at playing attacking football at Madrid?
Didn't he break the record for most goals scored in a La Liga season?

Pretty simple really.. Mourinho parks buses with extremely expensive squads, gets results playing that style and everyone says he's the best manager in the world. When he comes out to play, he gets smashed... i.e At home to Westbrom, which everyone knows they should have lost, Palace, Villa, Sunderland, Stoke etc
Is Mourinho a genius because Gerrard slipped? That was a one in a million and everyone gives Mourinho the credit?! What if Gerrard didn't slip and Liverpool went on to win? (which they probably would have). It would have meant that Chelsea went to Liverpool, needing a win, parked two buses in their six yard box and lost. Then he would have been exposed for the one dimensional manager he is.

They're right in saying that Chelsea have problems breaking defensive teams down, but you have to remember that their best playmakers Hazard and Oscar have been out for a long time. Perhaps it was a bad tactic to play 5 defenders, but it really was the little details that cost the game - Hazard not defending Juanfran, Eto'o giving the penalty. Once it was 1-1, Atletico changed their tactics and formation because they had that cushion, and then Chelsea couldn't find a way back. Maybe a better striker is what Chelsea needs, but honestly, Mourinho could learn from Simeone and have his team get better at set pieces and also from Guardiola and teach his team to break teams down with possession better. Because defensively, he's the best.

Ridiculous analysis. These guys are very poor. No wonder why Ireland is shit, the people there know nothing about football. Simeone has been the manager for Atletico Madrid for some time now, and he knows the players well. Mourinho just arrived at Chelsea, and despite flopping at the end, had they beaten Sunderland and Atletico Madrid at home, they could have won both the premier league and CL, and we would have been talking about an amazing season where Chelsea beat City, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool, and lost none of the big premier league matches. It's clear to me that these guys are biased against Mourinho. Their analysis of what he does well and wrong is very limited, and they overlook the fact that his teams usually score a lot of goals.
It's obvious that these guys just don't like Mourinho. More proof that these guys are biased against Mourinho is reflected by their analysis of what he did with Inter and Real. Mourinho turned Inter into a powerhouse scoring machine in Europe, with their best ever season in their history, and with Real, despite flopping last season, his second season at la Liga was one of the best ever in Real's history in the league, with a record 100 points. Stupid old Irish bitter farts who know nothing about football. Although Mourinho's last two seasons reflect his poorer period as a manager yet, it is clear that to already forecast his downfall as one of the top managers in football is nothing other than dirty, foul, bitter wishful thinking. I don't like the nature of these people one bit.
