@@dylanmulroe9978 I don't think Giles retired, RTÉ wouldn't renew his contract. He worked for Premier Sports with Brady and Dunphy after RTÉ let him go. I don't know how regularly the three of them were on together though.

Graeme Souness, in all the clips I've seen of him with this panel, comes across as an ABSOLUTE GENTLEMAN. I am aware he was one of the hardest bastards ever to patrol a midfield, and this only makes his evident decency on this show all the more remarkable. Recently the duo ganged up on him after the game in Paris, Dunphy making out we had a beautiful team just waiting for the shackles to be taken off them. Giles was a great player, but Eamon needs to show Graeme the respect he deserves.
IDK, he seemed kinda daft now. All the criticism of aresene Wenger seems a little cringeworthy.

He built a machine that got two bad decisions against them UCL FINAL 2006 OTHER WISE HED HAVE DONE THE LOT WENT ON GOT SUPER AND WORLD CLUB CUP. I loved this panel. Graeme Souness is a pompous, overly sensitive man who can't be told no or that he is wrong. He was wrong here and everyone there knew it and then when he was being made to realize he was wrong he became quite nasty.

Souness often makes common sense points that both Giles and Dunphy seem to disregard for no clear reasons. Usually Giles is as astute as any football analyst, but I'm often left wondering why he reacts against some of Souness' comments so disrespectfully. Maybe it's a personality clash.

A few years back they worked out that Bradford, yes fcuking Bradford, had a higher income than either of the Old Firm. That's TV money, not a huge supporter base or marchandising obviously.

As good as Souness was.. he is clearly wrong here. It's common knowledge that Wenger has been starved of funds because of the Emirates move. You don't have to be in management to know that - it was a weak comeback on Souness' behalf and merely underlines his ignorance or stubbornness more likely.
