Must be some place where the kitchen porter can just sit down on his break and chat shit to Aymo.

He mentions the book he wrote about U2, it was a biography the band commissioned him to write and it is called: The Unforgettable Fire: The Story Of U2". I have the book and it has a lot of errors. The band intentionally made no money from it, it was very much something for the fans, but Dunphy made a lot of cash from it as he says in this interview. U2 eventually withdrew their support and were critical of Dunphy for his mistakes. Larry Mullen's father even wrote to Dunphy listing all the errors that appear in the book.

Everything Dunphy said about u2 here was right (apart from Hewson not being real - & that was 1/2 right), but the problem was his 1988 book about the band wasn't as good as this chat.

Hardly surprising for a lead singer of a huge band who has a huge stage presence.

Scaffolding company was sent out to Bono mansion home south Dublin Dalkey in the 1980s to erect a scaffolding tower around Bono ego.

The man says Adam is the most real and down to earth. Adam is the only one with a drugs charge to his name, engaged to a supermodel in 93 and who failed to turn up to a gig which was being filmed for a DVD. Yep, the man is a great judge 😂😂

Those things have nothing to do with being real in fairness. I'd much prefer to be mates with him than someone who has a squeaky clean record but is faking it.

Adam is a good man. Got caught with hash and was engaged to a model. Nothing wrong with that either. Was very lucky to be fucking a model.

@@thetopofthelistlots of people who don't have "squeaky clean records" are also faking it.
It's often impossible to have an authentic sense of self that can be shared with other people, if you are regularly intoxicated.
It can be very isolating when people love the performance, but not the performer.
