    Am I the only one that's surprised at how well Jared rocked the piano when they switch? Nice work dude!

    Jared's a beast. He's so humbled when he and Drumeo invite all the greats, but he's no slouch himself!

    The cool thing about Jared if because he has met so many cool and great drummers, he has picked up things from all of thing and mixes them into one. It is unique and just amazing what a guy

    I just want to say thank you so much for this wonderful lesson.. everything I heard was excellent, however the second arrangement in particular was my favorite. Made only better by both of your gentleman's statements.True teachers encourage their students to make mistakes if only for the sake of self-discovery. My first mentor whom was very close to me once said" It's far easier to teach one what is error rather than what is perfection" I wholeheartedly agree that our first step must be humility and an acceptance of the long road we've signed on for towards being well rounded musicians..Cheer's too you guy's thank you so much for the lesson you absolutely killed it and gave me a newfound interest in the piano..

    Great musicianship guys. Top notch. In the early 80's I saw Patrick Moraz and Bill Bruford at TRAXX in Detroit on their 2 Man tour. Pretty heady stuff.
    I have spent years as the arranger, lead singer and drummer in many different Piano/Drum duos. I love the freedom and relish the challenge to be entertaining for hours on end...it pays well too.
    Keep on Keepin' on.

    its like something keeps fulling out of the pocket. sometimes the drums are just doing to much at the wrong time. but that just my opinion.

    • @psb322
      @psb322 7 лет назад +3

      Mystninja idk man It felt like to me he was trying to be in the back side of the beat and it felt kinda cool. I do agree with the crazy fills at the wrong time, but that's what happens when you jam cuz it's not always clear where the songs gonna go

    Jared's drumming just sounds so clean..... goddamn. I don't understand why he brought on that "cooperdrummer" dude for like 3 shows when he could handle the topic 10x over by himself.

    This is incredible! I was trying to find similar type of music on youtube that would be in a playlist so that I could listen to it while I work but I could not find any. Can somebody point me to the right direction ? This is not a classic jazz so it is not easy for me to find something similar.

    The pianists may sound good if you've never really heard good players like David sprunger. To the trained ear his improv is lack lustre, it doesn't go any where, nor does it tell a story. he seems to be picking out random pentantonic scale notes and hoping they work. Too many incorrect notes and poor rhythmic control. Perhaps if he varied his scales to match with the chords rather than the "key" it would sound more musical.
