Same with PennHills. The black people moved in and it really took a hit and went dowwn hill. I graduated in '94. I saw it happen. Now PennHills is a horrible place to live.
@jameysummers157 Hell the whole of the North Side . . . Specifically Brighton Heights, which used to be an amazing-tight knit-community way back in the day, old ladies sweeping their sidewalks and people leaving their car windows down in the summer, walking home from Big Cat Pat's at 2'a.m. not a single worry in the world. We know it isn't a "poverty" issue either, because in poor white trash towns and trailer parks this *huge* element of danger and casual violence literally doesn't exist, and in every major city with a huge demographic of *ghetto* black people the crime rate is sky high (Chicago/Baltimore/Detroit/LA/NYC/Atlanta/Philly).

Looks like Pittsburgh is being culturally enriched! I haven't been there in many years, but it was always a pretty quiet city and overall very peaceful. Seems like the city governance is failing the people.
I used to go to Pittsburgh twice a year in the 80s and 90s to visit my grandparents, and it was overall a very peaceful and prosperous city. Now, it seems as though the same Soros-type suspects are running it into the ground like in so many other cities. The people of Pittsburgh deserve better, and they should know that the people in New England are 100% on their side!!!
That 22% of Pittsburgh’s population commits 85% of the homicides isn’t a new development, nor are such violence ratios unique to Pittsburgh. My point - what you’re just noticing about our dark friends has been going on just like this ever since they moved north 90 years ago. They’ve always been violent.
my cousin devon alexander was killed on the southside in july 2023, i would give anything to have footage of what happened that night. somebody started shooting and a stray caught my cousin. we wouldn't even know where to start to try to find justice. somebody kills an innocent in a crowded area and nobody knows anything...
The barber expects the cops to risk their lives to stop these shootings? They wouldn't even do anything about the growing homeless encampment by the Birmingham bridge.
Pittsburgh has a poverty of good city leadership because these and other infrastructure failures are going to lead to and are already contributing to economic collapse so the government needs to support local infrastructure if they’re going to have any community remaining
It's a small price to pay for cultural enrichment, which floats all boats and makes us a better country! Kind of like giving tax cuts to super-rich people. You don't feel the benefits immediately, but, trust us, it will be so friggin' cool!

Its blacks. Say it.
If you do a crime with a gun it should be an automatic 5 years in jail! Enforce the laws we have and it will stop this chaos!
It's getting worse day by day. I agree 💯 percent

Same nonsense we have to deal with in Philly. SMH.
They said Philly would be the safest big city in the world if you took away all the crime committed by one demographic. Think about that.
