I'm an Arab. My Salary is about 2500 US (like most of you) but instead of blowing my money on heavy drinks I blow it on Big Turbos and good times :) we don't put air filters on our turbos because we are wild and we want as much air to go into the engine and give us great power. So what if a sand blows off a Thailand turbo, big deal.
Beautiful well said im in New Zealand we dont have sand hills but we have big turbos and we dont waste money on silly things like air filters.... haha haters who have nothing in there lives hate on other peoples cars hahahaha jelly bellies
I love motorsport where it's all about huge power and aero is not important at all, get these outrageous engine setups, best thing about tractor pulling is the engine setups
Brandon Stone that RC is problably the HPI Baja (or some similar 1/8 hobby grade nitro RC). They usually don't come with turbos and there are no big producers for RC turbos. If someone put a turbo in their RC, they either made it themselves, were lucky enough to find and buy one, or they are lying.
freeroamer To be very honest with you their is a really good market for them you just have to know where to look... And I say that because I wanted one for my RC truck an buggy but they have an electric motor instead of the nitro... But are some RC cars that came with a turbo on it from the factory just can't think of them at the moment
+1TonTaco Lots of stress, means more problems and drivetrain failure. It'll end up like any other drag with coupes. Type "Nissan Patrol 8.4" and you'll see a patrol doing 8.4 sec in 1/4 mile.
Making huge power, and and having a contest to to see who manages it best knows no prejudice. I am American, and a huge gearhead. I would love to be there, with no language barrier, cause I bet these guys love motorsports just like me.
So many jealousy comments make us so fucking special 🙌🏽. Just take out the hate from your hearts then you will be happy in your life you jealousy comments. 🍉 سوولي لايك يا اي عربي
T Hud Ummmm, both horses and camels are well-owned by the Arabs, and the *Arabian* horses are the most valuable for us. I would rather call it Arabian-power.
That looks like a great type of racing; thanks for sharing the video. One thing that bothers me, however, is that the drag times will depend a great deal on even small variations in the track surface, especially at the start. If someone knocks a tenth of a second off the time they posted a week earlier, it's hard to say if the improvement was due to changes made to the car or variations in the track. A specialized machine might help -- like a "Sandboni", but for packing the sand consistently.

The UAE is the Southern California/Las Vegas of the Arab world. They have some of the best resorts in the world and are the most friendly people that don't care about your background, they just want to live and have fun! Ive been there 3x's and have never felt as though I wasnt welcomed. 2x's for work (I work for Pratt & Whitney on the military side) and once on a vacation.
+francisdebelo They only use the engine for 1 day before rebuilds, like any regular racing. They can add filters and sacrifice performance. It's a gamble that they need to take. Plus it's sand, not dust so the odds of getting anything sucks is quite low, at least for a very limited time.
If you're talking about the flame bursts coming from the exhaust, it may be from the extra fuel they light off to spool up the turbo. Hard on a turbo but, hey, so is sand.
They're obviously getting pelted by rocks and dirt and it looks like spectator views were not well thought out by the track designers, leaving most people to watch from behind or from far down the track, as witnessed by the video angles in this video. But yeah the angles suck.
That is an intercooler between the turbo and engine intake. Many intercoolers are air-to-air intercoolers (cooled by outside air), but that is a water-to-air intercooler which is cooled by cold water.
why the fuck do they stand behind the car and then act surprised and run for cover when it throws dirt.... THEY ALL FREAKING THROW DIRT LOL DONT STAND THERE
This vid proves that no matter where you live. There will always be a group of guys pushing the limit on horsepower and fun. Great vid. Ps. Please get some air filters. Lol
The run with no filters because its more of a henderence once its clogged.. either way nice runs cool vehicles. And is that dry ice in the cooler for the turbo?
if we want to improve relations we should be promoting events like these where we have a common ground to see the fun side of each other (meaning different countries and cultures)
Nice rides. Sub zero is badass! That thing moves! When all you hear is turbo I dnt care what kind of engine. Look out. Especially bouncing off the Rev limiter. Looks like fun.ship sum big ass crate motors V8 and turbo them .632cubic inches. Easy 2 to 3000 HP
Today's helpful tips: 1) Always use a quality air filter when operating in a dirty environment. 2) Do not stand directly behind high powered vehicles accelerating from a standstill on loose substrate 3) A dress isn't the most suitable attire for running Have a good day!
They are just blowing bills on boost. Looks like some serious builds. Although I think I saw some turbos with the cover or air filter. And when sand goes in the turbo it will cause severe damage and that sucks balls.
Уровень культуры все же имеет значение. Это отражается на всем от концепции этого спорта и подготовки техники до организации гонок и операторской работы. Всё на уровне "и так сойдёт".
complex, heavy more to get wrong, and they are dedicated to drag racing. Their two steps and nitrous will have veery little trouble spooling whatever they are throwing on them :)
Yes I have built a few motors, yes I understand what your saying, I still stand by that when they run the airs clean. They don't run one truck after the other as you are insinuating. Plus does it look like any of these truck owners have any sort of financial concern? lol
who's still watching this in 2020? someone needs to give this more attention. Give it a review or something. And I'd love to see these on the street as well xP
Do the competitors also run these cars on the street when they are not drag racing or are they trailer cars? I can definitely see some fun to be had cruising around in the sand in these, just for fun. Or are they too prone to overheating without packing it with dry ice like at 2:10 ?
If you are referring to those quarter of a mile 8000 horsepower drag races, we already had them several times, but they were not as successful as the sand drag races, because they require much more money, and only large cooperation could participate.
They dont need them. The car only moves forward while it runs. So no dirt passes through the turbo since the dirt is only behind the car. Also if they use an air filter it reduces air flow.
Good motors boys keep the good work!I want to say that the jeep that the video shows too times it should harden the suspension cause it looses time with the up and down of the suspension.Thats all keep the good work!

2500$ isn't that much (i live in Sweden though). It's enough for turbos and good food though. ;)
***** amen to that brotha :)
I live in the philippines and hear no cars with turbo ;( when i grow up i wanna atleast use a turbo in the philippines cuz im still 11
Beautiful well said im in New Zealand we dont have sand hills but we have big turbos and we dont waste money on silly things like air filters.... haha haters who have nothing in there lives hate on other peoples cars hahahaha jelly bellies

huuuuge open turbos, no filters and sand racing. sounds like a good mix
Fulixzer there running pretty good
I love this video!! The appreciation of a turbo charged engine and the sweet sweet sound of spooling is world wide! Awesome!
No airfilters because the turbos would suck the filters xD
This is awesome! I can't believe I've never heard of this form of motorsports in the UAE. Speedhunters needs to feature this!
not a single air filter in sight, not a single fuck given haha
We hare for a good life not long life 🤣🤣🤣
I love motorsport where it's all about huge power and aero is not important at all, get these outrageous engine setups, best thing about tractor pulling is the engine setups
surprised that rc car didn't have a turbo
It more than likely did lol
Brandon Stone that RC is problably the HPI Baja (or some similar 1/8 hobby grade nitro RC). They usually don't come with turbos and there are no big producers for RC turbos. If someone put a turbo in their RC, they either made it themselves, were lucky enough to find and buy one, or they are lying.

PRKVTN oh yah, for some reason i was thinking about the 1/8th scale xo1. but yeah, you are correct. 1/5th scale gas powered hpi baja :)
hah that 1 guy just had 2 regular sized turbos instead of 1 from a airplane.
Damn ! they know how to Build it right. Good job to all !
I would like to see these awesome 4x4's on a paved 1/4 mile and see what kind of times they'd pull.
+1TonTaco Lots of stress, means more problems and drivetrain failure. It'll end up like any other drag with coupes. Type "Nissan Patrol 8.4" and you'll see a patrol doing 8.4 sec in 1/4 mile.
drag race *not* sponsored by *K&N filters* loool
🙅
who needs filter if you have enough money to buy a new turbo for each run lmao.
No kidding, I can’t imagine how much sand these guys are sucking up through their turbos!
No the drag race is sponsored by DIRT and DUST !!lol
Wo so much anger in the comments , those guys are having fun, let them ....
nice filming guys !!

OMFG the sound when the turbos wind up @_@ its... simply... AMAZING
Looks like you got an engine stuck to your turbo man.
Some of those engines have serious Camel power. I can even hear them spitting in the motor haha.
Yeah their owners can buy you and your family and make you their pets
Do they measure it by horsepower or camel power?
T Hud
Ummmm, both horses and camels are well-owned by the Arabs, and the *Arabian* horses are the most valuable for us.

Now....imagine if they had alcohol
They do, it's just most Arabs don't drink, only a few.
Some of those jammmie boys cant drive
@@Alex-tx2em فقط العرب غير المسلمين يشربون
Insane monsterous turbos wow.. can we all just appreciate the cars and the work that went into those vehicles??
No filters?WTF Garage Alladdin...

Music to my ears.
I cant believe the sand in the air isnt getting sucked into those turbos...Bad ass machines none the less..
+francisdebelo They only use the engine for 1 day before rebuilds, like any regular racing. They can add filters and sacrifice performance. It's a gamble that they need to take. Plus it's sand, not dust so the odds of getting anything sucks is quite low, at least for a very limited time.
How the hell do they keep those robes so white? Even after they get showered with dirt standing behind those things they're still white.
lol! That what caught your attention? It's sand not dirt/mud. That's a sandy desert.
starch!
They use DAZ ultra for whiter whites.
Man loving that raw style !!!!..top end performance with all the attitude...oh yeah..no air filters..lol
someone please get air filters on those things!!! your driving me insane!
wow would have never guessed they did these over there,.. that's Amazing
4:00 I thought the video was lagging.
Cool. Some nice big HP rigs. Looks like fun!
fuck airfilters, there is nothing better than a turbo as big as a toilet wich sucks the whole desert in the engine ;D
I need to go there! I would make a fortune teaching them how to build
1:39 best car in the video.
that light set-up and arena type thing they have going on is pretty damn bad ass.
when you build a motor where it doesn't even sound like a motor anymore. This video is just mean
If you're talking about the flame bursts coming from the exhaust, it may be from the extra fuel they light off to spool up the turbo. Hard on a turbo but, hey, so is sand.
Note to videographer: recording from behind cars at sand drags makes for shitty videos.
That was some real sick truck. Good Job on those blowers.
4:50 What were those flames in there? lol
Shift light or reflection of the flames off the windshield.
Its a shift light.
BULGARIA FTW, what part are you from?
Sofia
AW MAN ME TOO!!
Those turbos take so much spooling...
worst camera man ever, every time a truck takes off he nuts his pants
hahahahahahahaahahaha
just need something to blow up and 3 of his mates to chant "Allah akbar" in the background and it'll be like every other arab video I've watched.
yesssss!
fuckin snackbars
They're obviously getting pelted by rocks and dirt and it looks like spectator views were not well thought out by the track designers, leaving most people to watch from behind or from far down the track, as witnessed by the video angles in this video. But yeah the angles suck.
Hodgie gets pelted.
They should come to Sweden and have race on dirt for us with these cars, this is so cool.
Man this is some cool shit
Always the best cameramen at these events.
sand race? Fuck air filters!
That is an intercooler between the turbo and engine intake. Many intercoolers are air-to-air intercoolers (cooled by outside air), but that is a water-to-air intercooler which is cooled by cold water.
they have stupid amounts of money so they don't care about a little sand getting in the motor haha
Chase Mareska yes we don’t fucking care
Jealous
Was pretty cool to see a reher Morrison v8 engine in one of those bad boys. American made muscle right out of Texas. Awesome!!!!
why the fuck do they stand behind the car and then act surprised and run for cover when it throws dirt.... THEY ALL FREAKING THROW DIRT LOL DONT STAND THERE
Jeff Neff its sand shower ... stupid america don't know shit
+uae789 different kind of brown shower i guess
+uae789 is this how you clean yourself???
Thanks to these guys, turbo manufacturers like Garrett, Precision Turbo, Turbonetics and many others can stay in business.
so many triggered people in the comments over this video 😂
Thank you for this turbocharged video! So awesome!
ماشاء الله
Those turbos are so HUGE even the intercoolers have intercoolers!
those are some amazing sounding engines!
I wish we had the Nissan Patrol here. What could be better than a SUV with the skyline engine and a big ass turbo!
This vid proves that no matter where you live. There will always be a group of guys pushing the limit on horsepower and fun. Great vid.
Ps. Please get some air filters. Lol
Some creative builds..
some badass rigs! If I had that kind of money I would be doing the same thing lol
Damn.. Who wants to eat some sand?! Nice flame thrower in the end..
Too bad some people have to bring out the hate, instead of JUST appreciating the awesomeness.
man if that isn'i right on the money, about the money! Hey those engines sound awesome!
The run with no filters because its more of a henderence once its clogged.. either way nice runs cool vehicles. And is that dry ice in the cooler for the turbo?
looks like very well designed vehicles and engines to me
if we want to improve relations we should be promoting events like these where we have a common ground to see the fun side of each other (meaning different countries and cultures)

I'd like know how they manage to stay clean...who'd ever thought they'd be doing things like that...broadened my out look....
Truck at the end is a beast!!!!
So the Sub Zero boys are still going strong. Aussie boys making big power in the sand!
They are just blowing bills on boost. Looks like some serious builds. Although I think I saw some turbos with the cover or air filter. And when sand goes in the turbo it will cause severe damage and that sucks balls.

Nice rigs. You're welcome for most the parts lol
You make and we enjoy lol
are you from china?
complex, heavy more to get wrong, and they are dedicated to drag racing. Their two steps and nitrous will have veery little trouble spooling whatever they are throwing on them :)
is that liquid nitrogen tank at the front of Sub Zero SUV? Cause that is awesome...
Fuark!! where is this? I swear arabs may sometimes be bad, but it is times like these when i love them! They are so into cars, its awesome!
Yes I have built a few motors, yes I understand what your saying, I still stand by that when they run the airs clean. They don't run one truck after the other as you are insinuating. Plus does it look like any of these truck owners have any sort of financial concern? lol
Lovin all that turbo power
wonderful open turbos in the land of sand !
Funny all the Sub Zero stickers, seems after leaving behind a bad rep in Australia ol' Mick took off to Dubai
who's still watching this in 2020? someone needs to give this more attention. Give it a review or something.
And I'd love to see these on the street as well xP
I really liked your clip.
I like drag racing on concrete but that to Jay Z Sub Zero truck man that thing was crazy that to step all that fire just crazy
Do the competitors also run these cars on the street when they are not drag racing or are they trailer cars?
I can definitely see some fun to be had cruising around in the sand in these, just for fun. Or are they too prone to overheating without packing it with dry ice like at 2:10 ?
Now that is extreme drag racing! I bet those big turbos don't last very long in the sand. Very cool.
Love the safety marshals running up the strip in there dresses.
true, but my guess is they are going forward so the dust doesnt get in it and they could have one of them in pipe filters
If you are referring to those quarter of a mile 8000 horsepower drag races, we already had them several times, but they were not as successful as the sand drag races, because they require much more money, and only large cooperation could participate.
Dude this is crazy. I would have never thought Saudi's would be into drag racing. More drag racing less bomb dropping.
Awsome display of power would like to see how they would handle on a track with turns, or better yet some mud!
Awesome trucks!!! Thanks for posting the video!
They dont need them. The car only moves forward while it runs. So no dirt passes through the turbo since the dirt is only behind the car. Also if they use an air filter it reduces air flow.
