My dutch grandmother would bring a pack of these back from Holland and Ive always considered them to be the best cookie in the world. I'm glad to see someone making them. This is what i love about your channel you make stuff other people don't. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
I just love the way you pronounce stroopwafel. As a Dutch person i can approve! Love you yoyo❤️❤️
Stroupwafels?
That isn’t how it’s pronounced
One thing you can also do is to form them around a little custard cup while still warm to make little "bowls" to hold ice cream or other soft desserts.
Such a great recipe! I'm a huge fan of stroopwafel but they are so expensive at the grocery store. Thank you for sharing.
You need more Dutch friends in your life :D Out of curiosity, what's the price of a pack over there? In the Netherlands they're about 1.5 euro per 12...
Woop woop I just ate a stroopwafel. Love to all my dutchies. You can also try "drop" or "boterbabbelaars" they are lovely as well.
You don't 'just eat stroopwafels'....! You get a cup of coffee/tea/coco and you put one on top (edit: like a lid) untill it's slightly bendy and warm, and THEN you eat it.
You inspired me to bake when I was a teen. I recently picked it up again, and it reminded me of your channel. Well I’m glad to see you’re still making videos!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. Thank you for the great videos in 2018 and I'm looking forward to the new ones in 2019.
The grid is indeed the traditional pattern. I love how you pronounce stroopwafel,
The "correct"* way is
str ( R is like the sound you’d make to express that you’re cold)
oo (like the o in low, minus the w-sound)
p (normal p)
wa (like the a in sofa)
fel (like full)
* correct is not meant as condescending, depending on which province you’re from in The Netherlands, the pronunciation might vary slightly due to dialects and accents.
OMG! I am a little Dutch girl and stroopwafels are my all time favorite!
When we were stationed in Germany this was my life. I almost forgot about these bad boys!
i’d love it if you start to show more dinner meals again like you used to. i really enjoyed those
instead of corn syrup I used honey! it was the best substitute I had and it ended up amazing!! 🥰🥰🥰
Sounds great!
That sauce is deadly ☠️
Substitute for eggs?
Merry Christmas Tammy!! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day with Max
Yeah stroopwafels 😊 and i like it warm (i am from holland) ik can talk Engels good but typing not zo good 🙈sorry
I love stroopwaffles! I have never thought it would be so easy to make them. Do you think I can use honey instead of corn syrup? it's not available in my country
Are these similar to Double Dutch cookies you can buy in the grocery store?
are they crispy?
I like the heavy coffret but I did not find the machine to make the coffret here in my country😓
Thanks for posting these my friend became obsessed with these after a trip overseas!!!! Now I can make these!!!!
Very good my dear.i think i can put any kind of cooked fruit filling like apple or unkooked banana with custard filling or jam
What is the machine brand?Obrigado
It is "Chef's Choice" It was a gift, don't know where it was purchased
I think I may like these. They look good. Merry Christmas!

Can i make these in regular waffle maker
I think that that might work !

Should it be adaptated to a vegan recipe?

Those look delicious!
Interesting filling 😊
"Stroopwafel" is so fun to say!
They look a bit light
You should try making bitterballen/ kroketten!!
Or if you're interested you could try making kruukplaetjes. They are dutch cookies from the area I am from. There are just few basic ingredients and they are cooked in a pan on the stove and they are so yummy! 10/10 would recommend
I love them so much
I love them!
That’s not how you make stroopwafels. 🤣🤣🤣 totally something else.
No, this is how they are made.
Dutch stroop for the waffels is hot and runny when it is applyed
How do you make them???
🥰🥰🥰🥰
