I have three suggestions: 1. Lots of people don't join mixed Playlist because they don't know which tiers are in the Playlist they are signing up for. I think it would be a lot better if it actually shows all of the tiers involved with the Playlist instead of vague crossing arrows icon that basically tells us nothing. 2. During the car selection screens in races, PLEASE show the race route and the race type (Speed, Rumble, Corner King, etc.) so we can actually know where we are racing, and that we don't have to memorize every event name. 3. (To piggyback off of 2.) When we recieve server invites, we need to have another button press where we can expand the details of a Playlist and see the race routes and race types. Or at least have it in the UI where it cycles through each race on its own.
Before each race in a playlist, I want to be informed what kind of race it is (speed / street / corner / rumble / etc.), so I can select the correct car for it. Most of us can't remember the names and types of all the races.
This is exactly why i stick to Heat. I like playing my shooters online but my RPGS and Racing games single player. And the fact that the story is so linear in its day night progression its almost like they want you to hurry up and finish the single player for the multiplayer. Game was an instant refund for me.
@@chrisgonz19 Yeah I felt the same way although the game wasn't completely awful. I did feel a bit ripped off since I was expecting so much and had to wait for the new NFS for a long time. This was the last time of me pre-ordering any game and an important lesson to check the reviews first before spending money
I know everyone hates nfs payback but payback had a pretty offline to online system as well as pvp and the payouts were way better than unbound. I really enjoyed the races despite the horrible performance card based system which gave people with better perks and luck unfair advantages. I don't really understand why payback doesn't get acknowledged for the fast paced gameplay on wide open roads compared to nfs 2015 where everything felt kind of slow
I agree. Not only that, i only have a Tier B car in online and tried for an hour to get someone to race with me so i could get some money and unlock the prices for other cars. NFS 2015 was way better at that point because you could race against other players or race alone. The only thing was you had the other players driving while you were racing 🙄🙄🙄
Speaking of zombie mode, , there's also a brilliant idea I saw someone mentioned that could be added to the online cops chase. The guy mentioned something about how getting busted in group chases would turn you into one of the cops as well, which you'd then get to team up with all the other busted players to take down all the remaining players. imo that'd certainly make people actively participate in online cop chases, especially with the right rewards in place.
Another suggestion for the race invite ui whilst in the garage; could be a banner stating the race type, class requirement, and playlist name. Some of the interaction features mentioned by Trigger are in NFS Heat so just port them over and the job is done (side note: proximity chat is a kl addition but can you give us the option to mute everyone or select who you can hear because there are some idiots out there). *Criterion or EA please pay attention to this video*
Here's stuff that I also want for an update: Fix the yellow nos bug where you try to earn some and it doesn't come in because the yellow nos was canceled from a activity you were doing. (What I mean is, you did a little grip, then you try to hold onto a long grip while the meter you earned is draining down, then once you finish that second grip, the meter cancels and you don't earn your nos. I also want the issue where you hit someone's car and you don't earn the nos you were trying to get. Car buffs: I wish that most of the 60% grip material cars can be buffed to go to 80 or 100% grip so they can work better and hopefully not be too slippery like the Silvias. Name of the 1st race for the speedlist: Similar to another comment here, when you join a speedlist, you don't know what's the first race, (unless you memorized them all) it would help if it showed the name of the race on the top left of the screen and show if it's corner king, speed race, etc. Extra game modes: This one may sound a little stupid, but it would feel fun to have little game modes that are different then racing, like a takedown event or jump event (technically, the MW 2012 speedlist events). That's all I can think of for now. Also buff Charger Hellcat plz
Pretty much agree with everything you said and special thanks for mentioning the headache with the auxiliary reset. But I want to add one more thing. When I chose the car for the next race I would like to see what that race is. I mean great they show you the name of the race, but it forces me to remember which race is a speed race and which one is a corner king, etc. I have different builds for different types of races and it would be really nice to see picture of the track before I start it.
And the payouts are more fair and there's way more vehicles, the map is bigger there's over 320 events, the support is better and you don't have to wait 35 minutes for other players you can just do events solo AND if you wanted to link up with friends invite to crew and start the event simple as.
I think they need to make it easier to test out different parts and engines . Similar to NFS UG2 . We should be able to test out different parts and builds before buying them so it's easier to test which one works for us . Honestly this would help normal players so much and encourage trying building the car on ourselves instead of looking on YT for builds.
A shopping cart thing where you can queue up parts to buy in one go, to see if you end up over certain car tiers would have saved me a LOT of guess work
I just use the post story single player mode to test cars now. Problem is, you're still not allowed to pick a tier to race in. So i have to cherry pick races for my tier, and just skip the rest. A hassle, but still workable.
People need to get off of a server to build cars. That's the reason lobby's can't be filled with races. Because people are in the garage building cars and they get mad because the little window blocks their numbers. If people built their cars before they get on server then everyone's happy. Build your builds off server an No popup boxes for you to deal with and my race invites get taken by people wanting to race and not be in a garage working on a full build. The server building should be only tweaking one or two things but NOT a whole from scratch build......
One thing I’d like to see fixed is the supercharger bug, most cars I’ve tried will only make the whine with the lower level supercharger equipped, once a higher level supercharger is installed the whine goes away disappears.

I always back out of a server to build cars.. no point taking up a spot in a 16 player server to sit in a garage.. just rejoin one when you are finished, it takes like 5 seconds
We NEED hot pursuit races! It just needs to be a toggle option next to every playlist. You could turn on Hot pursuit and it could show a little fire symbol on the invite so people know cops are in the playlist. I get that not everyone wants to race with cops chasing them but a lot of us do! It's the only reason why I play NFS since Hot pursuit the original. Heat had the day and night system so if you wanted that experience you just raced during the night time. We need an option for it here in Unbound!
For tips in terms of Quality of Life: 1. Move the race invite so that building cars is easier now that we have better payouts. 2. Custom playlists now that we have more races 3. Fix Limp Mode which occurs when Your Cars goes over a bump or catches air.Makes lvl 3 burst and Steering not possible. 4. Finally a practice mode or infinite restarts as it very frustrating to get a Good time with 10 restarts.
I really wish when you were upgrading parts on a car, you were able to put parts into your “cart” and then checkout or take off items and being able to see the final price of all your parts. Without having to buy them one at a time. Would be easier to budget and test different upgrades stats
One thing I REALLY liked about Heat and Unbound single player mode was the night time mode in free roam. Being able to get in trouble and having to constantly having to watch for the police was a lot of fun for me and my friends. So I had a few ideas I thought would be great to add in Lakeshore Online. So in addition to "Night Time" Criterion should make this a special mode where: 1. Heat doesn't decay after escaping Pursuits 2. Pursuits can start during races (Like in that of Single Player) 3. Add a 6th Heat level that can potentially reintroduce the kill switch and a police unit that carries it (Like a Viper GTS so that there's a 2nd dodge to go with the 2 fords and 2 chevys that the police already drive) 4. and High Heat races to go along with it. I could possibly add more but this was the main gist of it.
For those who love to customize, you've surely noticed they are plenty of issues like : on the loading screen, the headlights & windows appear in blue while it's in black (new issue that we didn't have before) ; some stickers should be full black, but when you use them, they are slightly red (like the rwb one) ; they fixed the glitch of glowin' rim wheels lights while it was pretty sick (why did they have to fix something that was cool, god damn..) ; the quality of the stickers is horrible when you zoom (like in the scenes before a race starts) ; there's an annoying latency concerning the appearance of your wrap on your car when you want to check your cars or look at yours in the speedlist end scene ; when you want to put a stickers on a specific part of your car, sometimes it appears randomly in another location.. ; and finally, some cars have strange (almost) " transparent " marks on the windows and windscreen, that you can't hide with stickers. It seems " insignificant " somehow, but for those, like me, who loves to customize perfectly their cars, it's really annoyin' and discouraging.

It's ironic, that we don't have custom playlist. Back in the days, like Most Wanted (the good one from 2005) you could set all the things like laps, traffic off, low, medium, high, cops active or off, ...) this would be so nice to build your own playlists. Like let us set everything up, from basics like the map, to which class we can race on this map and things like can you change cars between races or not. These were the most basic things in Games 25 years ago, why isn't it possible today?!

The only feature that would bring me back to playing NFS Unbound very often is the ability for my cars that I earn in solo to transfer over to online. And the cars I earn in online to transfer to solo. Basically like the layout in NFS Heat.
optional ghost mode in pvp. i actually stop playing due to players getting jealous of me getting ahead of their op car, and proceed to push and ram me off track. its racing, not wreckfest. i get an accidental tap and scrape once in awhile.
Apparently they fixed a heap of things but- I've had so many bugs I never had previously happening since this update. Cars moving forwards and backwards in the garage when modifying them. Sounds bugging out, parts glitching out or being odd. Other stuff I can't remember clearly but my game is more broken than it was pre-update for me tbh.
I want the ability to do single races/playlists by myself...not be required to rsce with others. I believe this will provide players a way to practice said races an optimize their cars for that/those specific races or just in general. THEN they can participate in multi-player playlists. Also they could give a payout for doing so...just not as much as racing with others...maybe $5,000 - $10,000 roughly.
Also they have to fix the glitch with classes when you can use the regera in S class. And once you change the car in the playlist your manual gearbox not shifting from higher shift in the next race.
The one thing I want them to add is to say what track you're about to race when selecting a car. You can see the playlist for the second and third race, but it doesn't tell you what the first race is until after you're in it. :/
Agree fully with most of this I'd also like if you could issue 1v1s to people like on the old one, wagers on matches Also know some people won't agree but would be nice to have some sort of trading system for cars so I can send them to my friends who've just started playing Payout for police chases are basically pointless at the moment. Bigger lobbies and larger parties is a major one and some form of game chat would also be cool for people in your proximity
I'd also add that they should add Heat Locked races online to fix the no cops in online races problem & how to keep it only available to those who want it (apparently there were problems with players bringing Heat 5 cops to races in NFS Heat and probably they did away with this in Unbound due to this.) Difference from single player version should be that they automatically lock you into a certain heat level for these kinda races in the playlist, and you don't have to farm Heat levels beforehand.
First few features you mentioned I agree and some I disagree that they should add. 1. Race invite placement absolutely needs to change, thats a no brainer and should be trivial. This would be huge QoL change. 2. Increasing server size would definitely be nice. I dont know why they didnt do it already. Maybe there is some technical or performance issues linked to it. But having 32 player lobbies would be nice. 3. 8 player parties, I personally would never use it but it is a good idea. 4. I would maybe like to have a way to use an emote and communicate that way. I would definitely not want a proximity chat, that would just introduce toxicity. I would say this is not a priority at all. 5. Increasing lvl cap.... literally who cares? 6. Adding leaderboards. Imo a terrible idea. I can already tell that the leaderboards would be full of glitched and cheated runs. If there was a way to create a racing group and have a group leaderboard that could also be manually managed by the group admin, I think in that case it would be good, but without manual management its a terrible idea even for groups (as it would be full of runs done with cheese builds). 7. Activity payout... again, who the hell cares? Activities and collectibles are chores you do to unlock stuff and nothing else. Imo not important at all. 8. Custom playlists. It would be nice to be able to create a playlist but in that case, whats the point of meetups and existing playlists then? Not important at all. 9. Night time... why is this something that players want? You have night time in races. I guess it would be nice to be able to select a lobby with specific day time, but who cares? 10. Fixing auxilaries bug. This is a MASSIVE issue. This NEEDS to be fixed. I would put this on top of the list personally because most players online never race with auxilaries, they dont even realize they dont have them, but when you actually reequip them and race with auxilaries, its a huge difference. It immediatelly improves your time on a track by several seconds. Player that reequips their auxilaries before the race has a big advantage. 11. Being able to run any race in solo. It would be a great addition especially for testing builds. I would personally like to be able to create a build without paying for parts and just test the car on a track before I actually buy the parts. That would make min/maxing builds accessible to casual players. 12. Infinite heat level. I dont know how they would do it and it would probably be very performance demanding if they would keep spawning ton of cops in multiplayer. It would maybe make sense if they would add higher heat levels where chargers would spawn and some other more extreme cop types. One thing you didnt talk about is the worse performance after the patch. My game ran at around 100 - 120fps before the patch, but after the patch my game runs at around 80fps and slowly decreases based on playtime all the way down to 30fps at which point I just have to restart the game. I dont know what they messed up, but this needs to be fixed. The performance after the patch is terrible.
@Militia Gaming Community my man brought up the AUX issue!!!! I like your other suggestions too....hopefully they see this and listen. Game still has so much potential if they will actually listen to the community and continue to grow it.
I would like to see an option in the garage to take a car that you purchased and make changes to the engine and parts to compare where my money should be spent. Then be able to spawn on a test track and tweak builds if needed once returned to the garage. Be able to purchase all parts needed or save the build til the amount of money is acquired to purchase. I wasted millions on engine swaps because a better build pops up and can't buy the cars I wanted going broke. Makes me lose interest in the grind I did for that money. My other idea would be if that's not possible is a sell back option for engines and parts we bought and aren't needed any longer. Even if the sell return is 50% I'd be happy getting something knowing hey I can spend crazy and still get some back after tweaking the car. Every dollar in this game especially before the update was such a tiring grind and watch it all disappear in a few clicks. Next for me is expanding the customize of the cars. We've gone how many years with the majority of the same kits/wheels/parts. I know it's not a breeze to create these new parts but we need more in-depth options. We have some cars all you can do is change the wheels and license plate!!! Why!!! If we can't personalize our creations (do to legal contract reasons or the car companies don't want their brand being recognized in that form) then why have them in game other than possible being a fan favorite car. Lastly, when players leave a race playlist the racers who stay should not be penalized in the amount of money granted at the end. Why does 1 or 3 people leaving a race because they aren't top 3 kill my money? The amount shouldn't change if they drop out the race and should penalize that racer somehow by either having them pay to leave the races or prevent them from joining another race back to back for a short time period.
I desperately give my sugestions...why cant I listen to the engine sound when I am upgrading the car just like NFS Heat????? Why cant I choose the front and the rear ride heigth separetly????? Why the heck do I need to camber the wheels while I am slamming it???? Why so little adjustments on the ride stance?????? So much we could do on the car if we have more options to choose from, just like NFS Unite Mods!!!!! PLEASE GUYS!!!!! Let me adjust the FX sounds separetely from the engine sound!!!! I just want to listen to my cars engine!!!! And why do the car doesnt rev matching when I gear down my gears!!!!! Oh, and also...please let me configure the buttons for changing gears!!! Apparently there's a new bug where I can use my s class 71 GTR in B class. It shows the stock stats of the motor but It is definitely my s class build. I used it once just to check. And that's even more broken than the pistas pre patch. Anyone else encounter this bug?
Excellent suggestions Trigger The only thing I would add is to make the garage universal. While I understand why Single Player and Multiplayer are segregated, why car purchases aren't available between the two modes doesn't make any sense to me; especially given the fact this functionality obviously exists with cars you win. If I grind and spend the time to purchase and upgrade a car, let me use it either mode.
I wish they would make the races class and reward randomized in solo. My favorite thing is to build cars, so I only do the race with higher rewards, which mean the same races over and over and over again. There are so many tracks I haven't played since the story.
Can I add something about the Race invite thing when tuning a car? If you're on a slower connection ~5mbps is what I have and I experience this constantly. But when you go up or down a level in the UI/UX, for example: Mod car > performance > Boost > apply. Each step can take between 0.5 seconds and 4 seconds. More on a bad day. So constantly having to back out, decline, and go back in can take anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds. This adds up really fast and is even worse when you've got 2 or 4 people spamming the same invite about 10 seconds apart. Jesus it's fucking horrible. My shit internet aside, this UI/UX design choice was a terrible idea and someone needs a slap. And it should be a pretty simple fix. Move ui element x Px left. Done. Sorry, this one really makes me mad.
WHEEL FORCE FEEDBACK. Ive been playing on the wheel since heat Heat had the settings! Ive been killing it without it but it NEEDS it. Plus theres a whole audience of people who use the wheel would also play the game!
So about the unlimited heat level, how would that work, exactly? Just more cops? A massive flood of 100 or more cops going after you? Each heat had a new cop being added, a new strategy. How do you think they could keep building an unlimited amount of heat in the game?
Niche request, but I'd like a option to enforce certain rules for cars like in GT7. BoP, restrictions on certain parts, engine swaps. It's hard to live out my JDM dreams when A: I need to swap to a exotic engine to really compete B: Thats still not enough and need to hop into some hypercar (This is for online PvP, Single Player anything is viable)
Nothing regarding the video, where you have only good points, I especially value the improvements to the cops, which back in Most Wanted 05 was a bigger risk factor and fun factor, now the cops are kind of peaceful, not even using nailstrips. I just wanted to say how addicting this game is, making me feel like a child playing NFS Hot Pursuit 2002. I am really happy that we got something like this finally, I just hope they stick with it for a longer time. Also what do you think of players being able to demolish other players during a cop-chase, making them lose their not-banked money? On one hand, you never have really high money earns from cop-chases if you are not doing it professionally with friends even maybe, One the other hand, It's really easy to go into free roam with any S+ car (Range Rover, F150 Raptor, etc...), have "Damage Increase" and the Cash-Copwave Auxiliaries equipped, and look for people who are in a Cop Chase. What is interesting to me is that I think Criterion is completely aware of this, because in NFS Heat it was strictly not possible to actively damage other players through ramming. I don't think Criterion overlooked this, maybe it's just what "Unbound" really means, is that players are allowed to play like that... I think it's a fun thing to do with friends who agree on playing this fun roleplay, as 99% of the racers I meet online are driving clean and fair, which I think speaks for how serious people take NFS Unbound.
RACE CREATOR PLEASE!! been asking since 2015, how tf a racing game aint got this amazes me But also the other junk like Veilside and APR wide body kits, more cars like 1970 Camaro Z28 and 2003 Porsche 911 GT3, etc. Other game modes like cops and robbers, capture the flag, etc. I like all the ideas mentioned in this video though too
My suggestions for the next update are: 1. Fix the car crash physics. After playing this game for nearly 180 hours, I still have no idea how the physics of the car crash in this game work. For example, even though I hit a traffic car with 80 mph or more than 160 mph, my car flies and spins all the same. I think the developer should determine the physics of this issue again. I enjoy the game, but what really annoys me is this issue of the car crash physics. It really doesn't make senses in any aspect. 2. Please update more events and stories to the single player because it feels like the game is dead after finishing the single player. 3. Fix the blue nos gauge refill time. I still don't understand how the blue nos refill works in this game. For example, I installed Super or Expert Nos for my car, it charged very slowly and somehow it didn't charge when playing in the race. So, what's the point of spending 15K-25K of Super part or Expert part which barely works. 4. If possible, fix the handling of this game. 5. Fix the event joining window pop-up when a player is in the garage. This also really annoys me when you were trying to install parts to your car and this event window popped up. Just move this window to somewhere else.
There is a bug for manual players. With the changing cars per race update. When we change a car from 1st race to 2nd race we can no longer put the car in the gear we want to launch in. Now if u don't change cars it works fine. But if u switch the car it doesn't work and I have to go through the gears at launch. It's practically starting with a bad launch everything 😢
Switching gears before the start of the race may not have been an intentional feature but more of a missed bug itself. I need to try and confirm it with the devs.
OK it's more prominent in mixed tier Playlist. It worked fine b4 the patch but now it affects single teir Playlist as well. Thanks for looking into it. I know they want auto and Manuel players to have an equal race. But that's our biggest edge over auto. I mean they get perfect shifts every gear where as we have to time it right u know.
@@Rotary804Madness auto vs manual will never be equal. Manual is always better in a race and I dont mean the rocket launch when you launch in like 5th gear, thats borderline cheating. There are so many advantages over automatic. You can naturally slow down the engine by shifting down before sharp turns, you can keep the gear during a turn, you know when to not shift up for example when you are approaching a turn, you can shift up before using burst Nos. Automatic players can lose gears while turning, they can get a shift up right before a sharp turn where they need to slowdown and shift down twice. A proper usage of manual transmission gives you advantage of several seconds which is massive in a racing game.

The fact the new update messed up 1 of the advantages of Manual away is why I brought it up to MGC. Since he had communication with the creators.
I'm going out on a limb here, this is for the people that say the economy is still broken. Gran Turismo 7 has a race or 2 that has a large pay out 700k to 1 million, in single player. Now we had a million dollar event and that was in NFS unbound single player. 4 Tiers 4 different tracks just like the grand, and winner takes all of course pay out the players that are not the "champion" the builds are more expensive than the vehicle itself which is why I am opting for this. He'll I forgot to mention this in my comment above. GTA has a heist that pays out at least 1 million to the player and you can do such task in at least 1 hour. Yes the economy needs to be fixed in some way. Especially if your in love with such car and want to find the BEST build for said vehicle.

Honestly surprised they fixed 1 of the 2 things keeping me from returning to Unbound. The better economy was so needed. Now we NEED 8 player parties. That way I can get a full race with all 7 friends I regularly play racing games online with. We're still playing Heat in the meantime.
I WANT to play unbound multiplayer, but as long as my ability to play the game and unlock the things I need is dictated by wether a player chooses to accept my race or not, I won't play. I need to do A tier races to get the car I want, it's not enough for me to just accept other people's races, it needs to be A tier races and some other cars have even harder requirements. And it's completely outside of your control to unlock, and infact it can be impossible to unlock if for one reason or another, no one is accepting the races you need.

Great video! You put everything in there. Sad to say that in some points we are talking about stuff that was in HEAT right from the start. One thing… now and then, in full crossplay playlists is still so much lagging and d-sync going on, it’s just unplayable. That’s where I frequently quit the game.
I think new bugs have risen. Since the update I have seen a lot of rubber banding. Dsync seems to have been fixed or at least reduced but a lot of rubber banding
Server sizes hell yeah, but tbh It will not happen as we well know cirterion thinking ;D Also wanna add I will be more then happy to see those changed but we all know it will not happen as well, At Least I dont think but still having some hope
Every game needs a Trigger. These are good QOL changes for the game. I don't have Unbound, won't get it till this race replayability thing and online lobby changes. Heat is a good game. Just needed a graphic change (2022/23 level) and a few QOL changes here and there but as a base, it's a good start.
I love these, give more power to the players with entire custom lobbies that would let you change the time of day and there could even be an event vote where the lobby can pick what even they wanna settle on. hard to say weather some of these would come to fruition but definitely hard to expect unlimited police heat given the consistent performance they have to maintain on servers and consoles/pc. also they NEED to fix the UI in the garage, so obnoxious.. lol

It’s super tough to understand proper race etiquette and it’s a bit different in NFS than it would be in real life because there is no real danger. Personally I don’t have a problem with trading paint but in the corners you should look to line up and all take the proper line. Obviously that seldom happens. I just hate when people go full speed into the inside of the corner and smash me when I take a proper line.
I have three suggestions:
1. Lots of people don't join mixed Playlist because they don't know which tiers are in the Playlist they are signing up for. I think it would be a lot better if it actually shows all of the tiers involved with the Playlist instead of vague crossing arrows icon that basically tells us nothing.
2. During the car selection screens in races, PLEASE show the race route and the race type (Speed, Rumble, Corner King, etc.) so we can actually know where we are racing, and that we don't have to memorize every event name.
3. (To piggyback off of 2.) When we recieve server invites, we need to have another button press where we can expand the details of a Playlist and see the race routes and race types. Or at least have it in the UI where it cycles through each race on its own.
and mixed doesnt count for challenges so its a bit silly.

Before each race in a playlist, I want to be informed what kind of race it is (speed / street / corner / rumble / etc.), so I can select the correct car for it. Most of us can't remember the names and types of all the races.

This is exactly why i stick to Heat. I like playing my shooters online but my RPGS and Racing games single player. And the fact that the story is so linear in its day night progression its almost like they want you to hurry up and finish the single player for the multiplayer. Game was an instant refund for me.
@@chrisgonz19 Yeah I felt the same way although the game wasn't completely awful. I did feel a bit ripped off since I was expecting so much and had to wait for the new NFS for a long time. This was the last time of me pre-ordering any game and an important lesson to check the reviews first before spending money
I know everyone hates nfs payback but payback had a pretty offline to online system as well as pvp and the payouts were way better than unbound. I really enjoyed the races despite the horrible performance card based system which gave people with better perks and luck unfair advantages. I don't really understand why payback doesn't get acknowledged for the fast paced gameplay on wide open roads compared to nfs 2015 where everything felt kind of slow
I agree. Not only that, i only have a Tier B car in online and tried for an hour to get someone to race with me so i could get some money and unlock the prices for other cars. NFS 2015 was way better at that point because you could race against other players or race alone. The only thing was you had the other players driving while you were racing 🙄🙄🙄
Speaking of zombie mode, , there's also a brilliant idea I saw someone mentioned that could be added to the online cops chase. The guy mentioned something about how getting busted in group chases would turn you into one of the cops as well, which you'd then get to team up with all the other busted players to take down all the remaining players.
imo that'd certainly make people actively participate in online cop chases, especially with the right rewards in place.
Another suggestion for the race invite ui whilst in the garage; could be a banner stating the race type, class requirement, and playlist name. Some of the interaction features mentioned by Trigger are in NFS Heat so just port them over and the job is done (side note: proximity chat is a kl addition but can you give us the option to mute everyone or select who you can hear because there are some idiots out there). *Criterion or EA please pay attention to this video*
It’s so annoying having to exit menus just to close race UI while trying to configure setups for cars I really hope this gets fixed
Here's stuff that I also want for an update:
Fix the yellow nos bug where you try to earn some and it doesn't come in because the yellow nos was canceled from a activity you were doing. (What I mean is, you did a little grip, then you try to hold onto a long grip while the meter you earned is draining down, then once you finish that second grip, the meter cancels and you don't earn your nos. I also want the issue where you hit someone's car and you don't earn the nos you were trying to get.
Car buffs: I wish that most of the 60% grip material cars can be buffed to go to 80 or 100% grip so they can work better and hopefully not be too slippery like the Silvias.
Name of the 1st race for the speedlist: Similar to another comment here, when you join a speedlist, you don't know what's the first race, (unless you memorized them all) it would help if it showed the name of the race on the top left of the screen and show if it's corner king, speed race, etc.
Extra game modes: This one may sound a little stupid, but it would feel fun to have little game modes that are different then racing, like a takedown event or jump event (technically, the MW 2012 speedlist events).
That's all I can think of for now.

Pretty much agree with everything you said and special thanks for mentioning the headache with the auxiliary reset.
But I want to add one more thing. When I chose the car for the next race I would like to see what that race is. I mean great they show you the name of the race, but it forces me to remember which race is a speed race and which one is a corner king, etc. I have different builds for different types of races and it would be really nice to see picture of the track before I start it.
i love the crew 2 because of the live summit and they have the online leaderboards , gives you something to work for if you love grinding
yup. or even tell me if i beat my personal best. i mean this shit was in games in the 1970s FFS.
And the payouts are more fair and there's way more vehicles, the map is bigger there's over 320 events, the support is better and you don't have to wait 35 minutes for other players you can just do events solo AND if you wanted to link up with friends invite to crew and start the event simple as.
I think they need to make it easier to test out different parts and engines . Similar to NFS UG2 . We should be able to test out different parts and builds before buying them so it's easier to test which one works for us . Honestly this would help normal players so much and encourage trying building the car on ourselves instead of looking on YT for builds.
A shopping cart thing where you can queue up parts to buy in one go, to see if you end up over certain car tiers would have saved me a LOT of guess work

I just use the post story single player mode to test cars now. Problem is, you're still not allowed to pick a tier to race in. So i have to cherry pick races for my tier, and just skip the rest. A hassle, but still workable.
People need to get off of a server to build cars. That's the reason lobby's can't be filled with races. Because people are in the garage building cars and they get mad because the little window blocks their numbers. If people built their cars before they get on server then everyone's happy. Build your builds off server an No popup boxes for you to deal with and my race invites get taken by people wanting to race and not be in a garage working on a full build. The server building should be only tweaking one or two things but NOT a whole from scratch build......
One thing I’d like to see fixed is the supercharger bug, most cars I’ve tried will only make the whine with the lower level supercharger equipped, once a higher level supercharger is installed the whine goes away disappears.

I feel as we REALLY need Speedlists back. The system from 2015's online was so perfect, a separation for free roam and strictly racing.
Hopefully they bring that back next update, it really kept MP active.
Facts
I always back out of a server to build cars.. no point taking up a spot in a 16 player server to sit in a garage.. just rejoin one when you are finished, it takes like 5 seconds
We NEED hot pursuit races! It just needs to be a toggle option next to every playlist. You could turn on Hot pursuit and it could show a little fire symbol on the invite so people know cops are in the playlist.
I get that not everyone wants to race with cops chasing them but a lot of us do! It's the only reason why I play NFS since Hot pursuit the original. Heat had the day and night system so if you wanted that experience you just raced during the night time. We need an option for it here in Unbound!
For tips in terms of Quality of Life:
1. Move the race invite so that building cars is easier now that we have better payouts.
2. Custom playlists now that we have more races
3. Fix Limp Mode which occurs when Your Cars goes over a bump or catches air.Makes lvl 3 burst and Steering not possible.
4. Finally a practice mode or infinite restarts as it very frustrating to get a Good time with 10 restarts.
I really wish when you were upgrading parts on a car, you were able to put parts into your “cart” and then checkout or take off items and being able to see the final price of all your parts. Without having to buy them one at a time. Would be easier to budget and test different upgrades stats
One thing I REALLY liked about Heat and Unbound single player mode was the night time mode in free roam. Being able to get in trouble and having to constantly having to watch for the police was a lot of fun for me and my friends. So I had a few ideas I thought would be great to add in Lakeshore Online.
So in addition to "Night Time" Criterion should make this a special mode where:
1. Heat doesn't decay after escaping Pursuits
2. Pursuits can start during races (Like in that of Single Player)
3. Add a 6th Heat level that can potentially reintroduce the kill switch and a police unit that carries it (Like a Viper GTS so that there's a 2nd dodge to go with the 2 fords and 2 chevys that the police already drive)
4. and High Heat races to go along with it.
I could possibly add more but this was the main gist of it.
They need to make the cops as challenging as Rivals cops.
For those who love to customize, you've surely noticed they are plenty of issues like : on the loading screen, the headlights & windows appear in blue while it's in black (new issue that we didn't have before) ; some stickers should be full black, but when you use them, they are slightly red (like the rwb one) ; they fixed the glitch of glowin' rim wheels lights while it was pretty sick (why did they have to fix something that was cool, god damn..) ; the quality of the stickers is horrible when you zoom (like in the scenes before a race starts) ; there's an annoying latency concerning the appearance of your wrap on your car when you want to check your cars or look at yours in the speedlist end scene ; when you want to put a stickers on a specific part of your car, sometimes it appears randomly in another location.. ; and finally, some cars have strange (almost) " transparent " marks on the windows and windscreen, that you can't hide with stickers. It seems " insignificant " somehow, but for those, like me, who loves to customize perfectly their cars, it's really annoyin' and discouraging.
Leaderboards are an absolute must. I’ve admittedly wasted a few hours just trying to beat somebody on my friend list in older games with autolog.

Talking about custom playlists - imagine someone made a playlist that includes all races available out there. That's a REAL endurance.
It's ironic, that we don't have custom playlist. Back in the days, like Most Wanted (the good one from 2005) you could set all the things like laps, traffic off, low, medium, high, cops active or off, ...) this would be so nice to build your own playlists.
Like let us set everything up, from basics like the map, to which class we can race on this map and things like can you change cars between races or not.
These were the most basic things in Games 25 years ago, why isn't it possible today?!

We need to be able to start a race solo. The fact that you can’t test a car if someone doesn’t want to play a race with you, kinda sucks.
The only feature that would bring me back to playing NFS Unbound very often is the ability for my cars that I earn in solo to transfer over to online. And the cars I earn in online to transfer to solo. Basically like the layout in NFS Heat.

optional ghost mode in pvp. i actually stop playing due to players getting jealous of me getting ahead of their op car, and proceed to push and ram me off track. its racing, not wreckfest. i get an accidental tap and scrape once in awhile.
Apparently they fixed a heap of things but- I've had so many bugs I never had previously happening since this update. Cars moving forwards and backwards in the garage when modifying them. Sounds bugging out, parts glitching out or being odd. Other stuff I can't remember clearly but my game is more broken than it was pre-update for me tbh.
I want the ability to do single races/playlists by myself...not be required to rsce with others.
I believe this will provide players a way to practice said races an optimize their cars for that/those specific races or just in general. THEN they can participate in multi-player playlists.
Also they could give a payout for doing so...just not as much as racing with others...maybe $5,000 - $10,000 roughly.
Also they have to fix the glitch with classes when you can use the regera in S class. And once you change the car in the playlist your manual gearbox not shifting from higher shift in the next race.
Unlimited heat level is interesting but people are gonna glitch the hell out of it to show off

The one thing I want them to add is to say what track you're about to race when selecting a car. You can see the playlist for the second and third race, but it doesn't tell you what the first race is until after you're in it. :/

Payout for police chases are basically pointless at the moment.
Bigger lobbies and larger parties is a major one and some form of game chat would also be cool for people in your proximity
I'd also add that they should add Heat Locked races online to fix the no cops in online races problem & how to keep it only available to those who want it (apparently there were problems with players bringing Heat 5 cops to races in NFS Heat and probably they did away with this in Unbound due to this.)
Difference from single player version should be that they automatically lock you into a certain heat level for these kinda races in the playlist, and you don't have to farm Heat levels beforehand.
Also the forged engines need to return. One of Heats best features and allowed more cars to be viable while staying pure to the car
First few features you mentioned I agree and some I disagree that they should add.
1. Race invite placement absolutely needs to change, thats a no brainer and should be trivial. This would be huge QoL change.
2. Increasing server size would definitely be nice. I dont know why they didnt do it already. Maybe there is some technical or performance issues linked to it. But having 32 player lobbies would be nice.
3. 8 player parties, I personally would never use it but it is a good idea.
4. I would maybe like to have a way to use an emote and communicate that way. I would definitely not want a proximity chat, that would just introduce toxicity. I would say this is not a priority at all.
5. Increasing lvl cap.... literally who cares?
6. Adding leaderboards. Imo a terrible idea. I can already tell that the leaderboards would be full of glitched and cheated runs. If there was a way to create a racing group and have a group leaderboard that could also be manually managed by the group admin, I think in that case it would be good, but without manual management its a terrible idea even for groups (as it would be full of runs done with cheese builds).
7. Activity payout... again, who the hell cares? Activities and collectibles are chores you do to unlock stuff and nothing else. Imo not important at all.
8. Custom playlists. It would be nice to be able to create a playlist but in that case, whats the point of meetups and existing playlists then? Not important at all.
9. Night time... why is this something that players want? You have night time in races. I guess it would be nice to be able to select a lobby with specific day time, but who cares?
10. Fixing auxilaries bug. This is a MASSIVE issue. This NEEDS to be fixed. I would put this on top of the list personally because most players online never race with auxilaries, they dont even realize they dont have them, but when you actually reequip them and race with auxilaries, its a huge difference. It immediatelly improves your time on a track by several seconds. Player that reequips their auxilaries before the race has a big advantage.
11. Being able to run any race in solo. It would be a great addition especially for testing builds. I would personally like to be able to create a build without paying for parts and just test the car on a track before I actually buy the parts. That would make min/maxing builds accessible to casual players.
12. Infinite heat level. I dont know how they would do it and it would probably be very performance demanding if they would keep spawning ton of cops in multiplayer. It would maybe make sense if they would add higher heat levels where chargers would spawn and some other more extreme cop types.
One thing you didnt talk about is the worse performance after the patch. My game ran at around 100 - 120fps before the patch, but after the patch my game runs at around 80fps and slowly decreases based on playtime all the way down to 30fps at which point I just have to restart the game. I dont know what they messed up, but this needs to be fixed. The performance after the patch is terrible.
@Militia Gaming Community my man brought up the AUX issue!!!! I like your other suggestions too....hopefully they see this and listen. Game still has so much potential if they will actually listen to the community and continue to grow it.
Everyone just forgot about a fast travel option
I would like to see an option in the garage to take a car that you purchased and make changes to the engine and parts to compare where my money should be spent. Then be able to spawn on a test track and tweak builds if needed once returned to the garage. Be able to purchase all parts needed or save the build til the amount of money is acquired to purchase. I wasted millions on engine swaps because a better build pops up and can't buy the cars I wanted going broke. Makes me lose interest in the grind I did for that money.
My other idea would be if that's not possible is a sell back option for engines and parts we bought and aren't needed any longer. Even if the sell return is 50% I'd be happy getting something knowing hey I can spend crazy and still get some back after tweaking the car. Every dollar in this game especially before the update was such a tiring grind and watch it all disappear in a few clicks.
Next for me is expanding the customize of the cars. We've gone how many years with the majority of the same kits/wheels/parts. I know it's not a breeze to create these new parts but we need more in-depth options. We have some cars all you can do is change the wheels and license plate!!! Why!!! If we can't personalize our creations (do to legal contract reasons or the car companies don't want their brand being recognized in that form) then why have them in game other than possible being a fan favorite car.
Lastly, when players leave a race playlist the racers who stay should not be penalized in the amount of money granted at the end. Why does 1 or 3 people leaving a race because they aren't top 3 kill my money? The amount shouldn't change if they drop out the race and should penalize that racer somehow by either having them pay to leave the races or prevent them from joining another race back to back for a short time period.
I communicate with people online! I ram into them going full speed while laying on the horn! ;)

Why the heck do I need to camber the wheels while I am slamming it???? Why so little adjustments on the ride stance?????? So much we could do on the car if we have more options to choose from, just like NFS Unite Mods!!!!! PLEASE GUYS!!!!! Let me adjust the FX sounds separetely from the engine sound!!!! I just want to listen to my cars engine!!!! And why do the car doesnt rev matching when I gear down my gears!!!!! Oh, and also...please let me configure the buttons for changing gears!!! That configuration is just awfull!!!! So many things to learn about so many racing games!!!!!!!!! HEEEEEELLPP DEVS!!!!
I also really Miss the crew Garage we had in Heat.
Apparently there's a new bug where I can use my s class 71 GTR in B class. It shows the stock stats of the motor but It is definitely my s class build. I used it once just to check. And that's even more broken than the pistas pre patch.
Anyone else encounter this bug?
Excellent suggestions Trigger The only thing I would add is to make the garage universal. While I understand why Single Player and Multiplayer are segregated, why car purchases aren't available between the two modes doesn't make any sense to me; especially given the fact this functionality obviously exists with cars you win. If I grind and spend the time to purchase and upgrade a car, let me use it either mode.

We need a day time legal 1/4 mile race and night time illegal 1/4 mile race, preferably in the way Prostreet use to have it.
I wish they would make the races class and reward randomized in solo. My favorite thing is to build cars, so I only do the race with higher rewards, which mean the same races over and over and over again. There are so many tracks I haven't played since the story.
Wish they would rebalance some of the cars to keep a more diverse selection of viable options. Some of then aren't good in any class at all

Can I add something about the Race invite thing when tuning a car?
If you're on a slower connection ~5mbps is what I have and I experience this constantly. But when you go up or down a level in the UI/UX, for example: Mod car > performance > Boost > apply. Each step can take between 0.5 seconds and 4 seconds. More on a bad day. So constantly having to back out, decline, and go back in can take anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds. This adds up really fast and is even worse when you've got 2 or 4 people spamming the same invite about 10 seconds apart. Jesus it's fucking horrible.
My shit internet aside, this UI/UX design choice was a terrible idea and someone needs a slap. And it should be a pretty simple fix. Move ui element x Px left. Done.

Nothing regarding the video, where you have only good points, I especially value the improvements to the cops, which back in Most Wanted 05 was a bigger risk factor and fun factor, now the cops are kind of peaceful, not even using nailstrips.
I just wanted to say how addicting this game is, making me feel like a child playing NFS Hot Pursuit 2002. I am really happy that we got something like this finally, I just hope they stick with it for a longer time.
Also what do you think of players being able to demolish other players during a cop-chase, making them lose their not-banked money?
On one hand, you never have really high money earns from cop-chases if you are not doing it professionally with friends even maybe,
One the other hand, It's really easy to go into free roam with any S+ car (Range Rover, F150 Raptor, etc...), have "Damage Increase" and the Cash-Copwave Auxiliaries equipped, and look for people who are in a Cop Chase.
What is interesting to me is that I think Criterion is completely aware of this, because in NFS Heat it was strictly not possible to actively damage other players through ramming.
I don't think Criterion overlooked this, maybe it's just what "Unbound" really means, is that players are allowed to play like that...
I think it's a fun thing to do with friends who agree on playing this fun roleplay, as 99% of the racers I meet online are driving clean and fair, which I think speaks for how serious people take NFS Unbound.

speed lists need to be number one imo..
My suggestions for the next update are:
1. Fix the car crash physics. After playing this game for nearly 180 hours, I still have no idea how the physics of the car crash in this game work. For example, even though I hit a traffic car with 80 mph or more than 160 mph, my car flies and spins all the same. I think the developer should determine the physics of this issue again. I enjoy the game, but what really annoys me is this issue of the car crash physics. It really doesn't make senses in any aspect.
2. Please update more events and stories to the single player because it feels like the game is dead after finishing the single player.
3. Fix the blue nos gauge refill time. I still don't understand how the blue nos refill works in this game. For example, I installed Super or Expert Nos for my car, it charged very slowly and somehow it didn't charge when playing in the race. So, what's the point of spending 15K-25K of Super part or Expert part which barely works.
4. If possible, fix the handling of this game.
5. Fix the event joining window pop-up when a player is in the garage. This also really annoys me when you were trying to install parts to your car and this event window popped up. Just move this window to somewhere else.
There is a bug for manual players. With the changing cars per race update. When we change a car from 1st race to 2nd race we can no longer put the car in the gear we want to launch in. Now if u don't change cars it works fine. But if u switch the car it doesn't work and I have to go through the gears at launch. It's practically starting with a bad launch everything 😢
Switching gears before the start of the race may not have been an intentional feature but more of a missed bug itself. I need to try and confirm it with the devs.
OK it's more prominent in mixed tier Playlist. It worked fine b4 the patch but now it affects single teir Playlist as well. Thanks for looking into it. I know they want auto and Manuel players to have an equal race. But that's our biggest edge over auto. I mean they get perfect shifts every gear where as we have to time it right u know.
@@Rotary804Madness auto vs manual will never be equal. Manual is always better in a race and I dont mean the rocket launch when you launch in like 5th gear, thats borderline cheating. There are so many advantages over automatic. You can naturally slow down the engine by shifting down before sharp turns, you can keep the gear during a turn, you know when to not shift up for example when you are approaching a turn, you can shift up before using burst Nos. Automatic players can lose gears while turning, they can get a shift up right before a sharp turn where they need to slowdown and shift down twice. A proper usage of manual transmission gives you advantage of several seconds which is massive in a racing game.

The fact the new update messed up 1 of the advantages of Manual away is why I brought it up to MGC. Since he had communication with the creators.

I'm going out on a limb here, this is for the people that say the economy is still broken. Gran Turismo 7 has a race or 2 that has a large pay out 700k to 1 million, in single player. Now we had a million dollar event and that was in NFS unbound single player. 4 Tiers 4 different tracks just like the grand, and winner takes all of course pay out the players that are not the "champion" the builds are more expensive than the vehicle itself which is why I am opting for this. He'll I forgot to mention this in my comment above. GTA has a heist that pays out at least 1 million to the player and you can do such task in at least 1 hour. Yes the economy needs to be fixed in some way. Especially if your in love with such car and want to find the BEST build for said vehicle.

Honestly i rather watch your contents you keep it real and straight forward whit jus hard work and money grinding no mods or glitches to witch im a big fan of.i play a lot of NFS when i'm loss or confused and i can always depends on your videos when I'm in need of help or ideas and to no lie that is super cool & helpful thank for your RUclips cannel.i can tell what you are doing is so greatful to the NFS gaming community big respect.everything you are saying and sharing about your gaming experiences is so great and helpful to many other people not jus my self,many times i finds myself facing problems or some issues when playing NFS that is where you help a lot ,it is awesome by you for all your time and effort EA needs to hear what you are saying out there about the new NFS unbound game issues and make some changes and whit all that sed,one more future we would love to see is some realistic interiors in first person view along whit the active windshield wipers and characters body movements while driving shifting gears and bursting nas to enhance the game play, that should let us feel the need for speed in the new generation console of gaming technologies to nfs unbound franchise,we would really and highly appreciate to see this future in another upcoming update, not asking for lot but jus to keep players active EA needs to know and make these adjustment for the community to enjoy..

Honestly surprised they fixed 1 of the 2 things keeping me from returning to Unbound. The better economy was so needed. Now we NEED 8 player parties. That way I can get a full race with all 7 friends I regularly play racing games online with. We're still playing Heat in the meantime.
I WANT to play unbound multiplayer, but as long as my ability to play the game and unlock the things I need is dictated by wether a player chooses to accept my race or not, I won't play. I need to do A tier races to get the car I want, it's not enough for me to just accept other people's races, it needs to be A tier races and some other cars have even harder requirements. And it's completely outside of your control to unlock, and infact it can be impossible to unlock if for one reason or another, no one is accepting the races you need.
They need to make it to where you can race solo

Cops In races online to spice things up would be amazing and high heat and stronger cops at night

Great video! You put everything in there. Sad to say that in some points we are talking about stuff that was in HEAT right from the start.
One thing… now and then, in full crossplay playlists is still so much lagging and d-sync going on, it’s just unplayable. That’s where I frequently quit the game.
I think new bugs have risen. Since the update I have seen a lot of rubber banding. Dsync seems to have been fixed or at least reduced but a lot of rubber banding
Server sizes hell yeah, but tbh It will not happen as we well know cirterion thinking ;D Also wanna add I will be more then happy to see those changed but we all know it will not happen as well, At Least I dont think but still having some hope
Every game needs a Trigger. These are good QOL changes for the game.
I don't have Unbound, won't get it till this race replayability thing and online lobby changes. Heat is a good game. Just needed a graphic change (2022/23 level) and a few QOL changes here and there but as a base, it's a good start.
I love these, give more power to the players with entire custom lobbies that would let you change the time of day and there could even be an event vote where the lobby can pick what even they wanna settle on. hard to say weather some of these would come to fruition but definitely hard to expect unlimited police heat given the consistent performance they have to maintain on servers and consoles/pc. also they NEED to fix the UI in the garage, so obnoxious.. lol
No fix god damn drifting physics or being back classes like drift class cuz I want more angle on my turn

It’s super tough to understand proper race etiquette and it’s a bit different in NFS than it would be in real life because there is no real danger. Personally I don’t have a problem with trading paint but in the corners you should look to line up and all take the proper line. Obviously that seldom happens. I just hate when people go full speed into the inside of the corner and smash me when I take a proper line.
