Yes you can but I recommend you use it. I have built 3 PCs with this board about to do a fourth. A lot of people don’t know it’s magnetized so the long more flat part can stick to the back or side of your pc... out of sight. Very happy with it. If now I would not have used it for myself, son and nephew LOL.

Hey! Do I need this extra tiny fan if I am not doing any crazy overclocking? This little bastard is loud as hell and drives me nuts. It is connected to cpu_opt socket so I can't really control directly its speed. Or perhaps I could replace it with something more gentle to my ears? thanks!

From looking at pictures of the motherboard it appears that the Strix Z390 is better VRM or more of them... but you know they have different schemes that I would like to understand prior to buying the board. Spawn and Batman depends on whether or not you want to game on 1440 with 144hz monitor or if you want to game 4k but only 60hz, cause a 4k with 144hz would prob be way too expensive and anything like that under 1000 bucks is probably really bad quality.

I get the game for this rig and it's only at 50 fps or 60 fps here and there. Will I be able to downgrade the settings to 1440 p at least so I can play 1440p at 100fps or more. I get hz confused with fps.

if you are thinking about 9900k I would double check the power delivery at the strix boards if possible go with the Maximus line for better overclocking

This motherboard has an LGA 1151 socket. In order to install a Ryzen CPU you need a motherboard with an AM4 socket.

prime -A may have less VRM's for overclocking. But they are very similar. This one has the IO plate pre-installed.
