Thank you soooo much for making this! Quick question because you seem to have a lot of Great Comet boots. I saw you used the 29 December 2016 boot in some shots, like at 5:40 in this video. It's the one from the right side of the upper balcony with all the OBC members. I have got a copy of that boot, but about half of the video is corrupted and unwatchable. Like, portions of the video are lost and the audio cuts out. Do you have the same problem?
You‘re absolutely welcome!! Yeah, I used every slime that has been recorded throughout this entire edit. There are indeed quite a lot of blackouts in the 29 December one, mostly during the big ensemble numbers (I‘m assuming the person recording just didn‘t want to risk being caught and therefore put down the camera). This is sadly something that can‘t be changed, the slime has really great quality and filming otherwise... I don‘t have any issues with the sound dropping out though and the blackouts aren‘t as frequent that HALF of the show is unwatchable. Maybe there‘s something wrong with your copy?
@@thegreatshootingstar7794 Thanks for the quick response! The problem I'm having isn't just blackouts, it's that the video literally does not play at certain points. I must have a bad copy.
But at least I can watch this edit now! I can't even put in to words how happy I am you made this.
@@charlesgenet2517 Well, I used much of the slime in this edit (because of the good quality and the fact that it‘s one of the only two recordings with Josh Groban as Pierre), so you‘ll get to see the best parts from it at least! I‘m happy that people get the chance to see the show in its probably best possible recorded version until we get an actual pro-shot!
