Howard and Jesse are both in my top 10 favorite vocalists. I first heard KSW when Jesse was still in the first time, so I’m a bit biased towards him, but Howard was the perfect choice to take over and he’s fucking amazing in everything he is a part of.

Killswitch is my favorite band of all time. Right above Thrice. Their absolute best is Alive or Just Breathing. Check out "Numbered Days" if you haven't already. It is my fav song by them.

That was an amazing breakdown of one of my favorite songs ever.
Vin sitting there like “ wish it was called end of the toothache... “ lol. Respect for the “ have a dope ass day “ shirt. You two and Alex are definitely my two most commonly watched reaction channels.
Jesse was the original singer. Mental health issues caused him to leave. Howard was the second singer and made like 4 or 5 albums with them and put Killswitch on the map. Health issues caused Howard to leave and then, Jesse came back. Not sure exactly how accurate that is, but it's what I gathered.

I've not long broken up with my partner and can feel these lyrics. Well, most of them. Sleep doesn't bring release, I usually have nightmares and wake up screaming because of how stuff ended (she used my mental health as a means of manipulation to the point I was taken to a mental health ward for a few weeks) It's not the breakup that made me snap, it's just that someone I was loyal, and utterly devoted to could do something so twisted. Killswitch have a song called "Take this Oath" the chorus is so strong and it helped me get my head back together. I'd suggest that or "My Last Serenade" the latter being so raw and powerful, but also beautiful. Have a good day.

I've been a long time Killswitch fan. They have a great mix of melodic vocals and deep growls. I really think when Howard took over being lead singer, they went to a new level. Jesse was ok, but Howard just has a stronger voice. Such a great band.

Check out one of the songs off the new Periphery album. Reptile is a 16 minute masterpiece with a story straight out of a graphic novel, and Satellites is a 9 minute anthem that builds slow and hits hard. Those would be my 2 recommendations from the album

I think you guys should check out some Chimaira. They're one of the bands that brought in a new breed of American metal back in the early 2000s, but are often forgotten about. They had a lot of lineups changes but were still very talented. In my opinion they don't get very much, if any representation among larger reaction channels. Anything off of their first few major label albums would be a good start. Any ways keep up the good work guys! I enjoy your in depth commentaries.
