@@pierreanc7501 only if it is the orchid leaf mite. Spider mites and aloe mites (producing gall) can be treated.
Thank You for providing this Very Helpful Information !!! So , would it take dissecting a sample of an Aloe to confirm if your plant has Mites , most likely not visible with the naked eye!? Can you try to save stems w/ propagation ? As the Group mentioned ... better to destroy then to possible spread
I am experiment on some and it lols like you can save the plant by removing the infected parts and diligently spraying miciticide weekly.
So what is the timeline of progression once you've spotted signs of this on a plant? Such as the TCT Santa you showed, how long would it be until that plant disintegrated when left untreated?

They say mites takes around 2-3 months to get a sizeable population and kill the plant. So early detection and treatment is key

Do any of you guys/gals kno what causes the leaves of various types of aloe and gasteria to swell up with air? Online says mites but the features arent the same as what I'm experiencing
