- The opponent will always do the same thing with this strategy, move the pieces I do in the same order and position, then after you win, repeat this process 4 more times for a total of 5 victories. Each match only takes about 50 seconds.

thanks for the easy guide. As much as I love the series and like going for Platinum I despise the minigame challenge section the most... it can get redundant doing it on each game :/
Yeah, if you play it for fun it's different, but if you play for completion then your in for a ride or frustration sometimes, especially mahjong minigame.
DanteDevil12 Ya that's the problem. Honestly Shogi and Mahjong are like the only two I struggled with the most (shogi was easy with your guide) but Mahjong is on a whole another level. I decided I'm actually going to learn how to properly play it so that way it won't be frustrating and I'll be ready for the next Yakuza games. Because let's face it, Mahjong will always be in the series. I just wish they didn't put so many challenges for it.
I am close to completion then I have to beat the game on Legend difficulty.
If you take the time to learn how the hands work and get familiar with the tiles it's not that hard at all, i've explained Pure straight, riichi ippatsu, and i put some basic guides :)
Yakuza Kiwami has most of the minigames from 0 except space harrier, outrun, super hang on and fantasy zone, but the achievements are the same.

it's actually really easy. Just download a shogi game on your mobile phone, set cpu difficulty to hardest and input the same moves that the yakuza cpu does. Then input the moves the hard cpu does on the smartphone to yakuza game and you will win :D

I am in the Real Royal Business on chapter 6 I got 9 more minigames to beat I want to get kiryu's legend style I am on Legend mode as well it's really stressful for me at least I got Mr Shakedown Deep Pockets and all I need to do is beat 9 minigames I know when I'm done 20 mini games I will be able to face against the five billions
You can also play on max difficulty without takebacks and on another tab have a free shogi site on max difficulty AI and you make the moves from said AI as you copy your game opponent’s moves on the site
This mini game was the worst damn even on easy the AI plays it with cheats she can move 1 piece to kill all of your soldiers cause how broken it is to play chess with a computer

all minigames are easy, only catfights and mahjongg are a nightmare
at least admit the batting cage can be annoying
catfights for the trophy are, but for 100 million it was easy for me: I wagered 99 million and won 200 million by winning the tourney
catfights are easy just keep betting on jennifer she wins 90% of the time. pool achievements on the other hand are so frustrating to get

LOL. I hit all the catfighting milestones the very first time. I had a fortune from grinding real estate, bet the max on Francisca and lucked into a tournament win without even understanding the controls.

I have no idea how it would even be possible to lose... the opponent has nothing but pawns and the king. How do you lose against that?

Hi, Joaquin. Honestly, I can do it.
But it's really necessary? i mean, in the game you can buy "The Basics of Shogi" book from the homeless man in the sewers for 300 SP. ( in chapter 4 you should meet him). Then when you play Shogi press triangle in order to use it, it will show you which moves you have to do, but it's much slower than the opponent's AI. Still, you're pretty much guaranteed to win if you follow its moves to the letter.

Question: what does it mean "without a take back"?
In laymen terms, it's an undo. You can use a take back by pressing square (limited to 3 per game) when it is your turn. Doing so will return the game to right before your previous move.

Are you sure? Legend is the same thing, the only difference is the damage from enemies and no checkpoint. I never heard something like that.
Maybe they changed it for PC, but all the mini games are way more difficult on legend. Even games like out run becomes significantly harder. Thought I was tripping at first but loaded up the normal save and sure enough, it's different
