SOMERSET COUNTY IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY...
* UNTIL 115 AM EDT
* AT 812 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
ALREADY FALLEN IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE COUNTY. FLASH FLOODING
IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

weatherfan82765n It sure is! I made it an Excess Rain Warning since Flash Flood Warnings usually happen for excessive rain. Nice to see you active with EASs again.
SPCridge2012 Thanks. I know Canada has an alert called Rainfall Warning which is technically their version of flood warning. :D
weatherfan82765n I heard about that, they also have a Freezing Rain Warning for an Ice Storm Warning :)

What state? I’m asking because I remember getting one for a similar incident. I was watching TV with my dad, Mom and two sisters while the radio was on and everyone got a warning on their phones, Then the alert relayed over TV and radio.
