  • Khariya, also known as pitosni is one of the popular cuisines of Tharu community in the far-western region of Nepal. The pieces of Khariya looks like fish. It is mainly consumed during festival of Anatwa and Atwari (Just before Krishna Janmashtami’s Sunday). This video highlights preparation methods of the Khariya recipe.
