I have to give my testimony! I have struggled with my weight for years since i was a child, and in june of 2023, i was at my largest weighing 264 lbs. Food, especially junk food, was my weakness, i ate when i was happy, sad, irritated, mad, bored,etc etc. But in September of 2023, God led me to fast for 7 days (i dont encourage this amount of time unless God leads you! 7 days of no eating or drinking. When the fast ended, my desire for sweets, fast food, junk food, and processed food ended as well. God had blessed me in ways that i never ever experienced, my health turned around No longer pre-diabetic, or at risk for hypertension, ovarian cyst that was growing can no longer be found, GOD even taught me how to take care of my natural body in ways i never thought of! and as of today, i weigh 202lbs. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
Can I tell y’all about our GOD ⁉️ our GOD healed me from cancer as a child. I used to be in the hospital constantly, getting sick with fever or stomach aches for years. WHO would have knew I had cancer of the stomach. 5 years old.. My momma took me to a specialist who scheduled me to have surgery to remove the tumor before it became bigger. My momma took me to her pastor, she prayed with her hand on my belly. Let me tell you!!!!!!! I went back to that hospital, layed on that surgery table and THAT TUMOR WAS GONE! GONE GONE GONE LIKE I WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. The staff was all amazed. I ain’t ever have to go back to the hospital for stomach issues since and I’m now In my 30. WON’T HE DO IT. 👏🏾🙏🏾🤎

I was set free from the spirit of lust after a seven day fast....within three months of that fast I was married and in a brand new home.I wasnt fasting for ANY OF THOSE REASONS...I just wanted to know God's will for my life and he showed up and showed out!

I remember fasting once. I was on a 14 day water only fast. And I got a headache during the fast. So I decided to pray about it. I went to my room, closed the door and got on my knees. Bowed my head and whispered a very short prayer. It went something like God please take away this headache and the very moment I finished my prayer, the very second I finished those words God took away the headache. It vanished instantly. I was in awe, and I was scared at the same time… It strengthened my faith in God… So yeah, fasting definitely helps improve your overall walk with God.
Benefits of fasting & praying:
1) Helps to put our flesh in check
2) Be more spiritually in tune
3) Helps refocus on God
4) Provides clarity for the season ahead
5) Helps to live a better/healthy life

You know what the Holy Spirit brought me to this RUclips channel. I am on day 2 of the Daniel fast. It has been amazing. I tried the water only fast back in February of this year and I was going to do it for 7 days. Well I fumbled and I tore some salmon up on the third day. I felt soo condemned.. BUT whenever I did The water fast for those 3 days with prayer, God SPOKE TO ME.. I had a serious pounding in my head didn’t know what it was. I was supposed to have a scheduled emergency MRI in February this year. The doctors office called.. the nurse was saying that my health insurance got cut off. I wasn’t aware of it at the time until I called Medicaid. Never received letters in the mail or anything.. and they told me, yes it got cut off because of income. I make too much money. Thank God for my finances, but I didn’t have health insurance to get this MRI to see what was wrong with my brain.. it was scary. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me in that moment and said “you need to do a fast for 7 days”.. I was like doubting myself to be able to go without food for 7 whole days lol.. but I jumped right in cold turkey, not knowing what I was doing but I just gave all of my worries to him. I prayed over my mind and my son and my household.. I praised and worshiped him in my bedroom. I read his word and everything.. I was content and went to bed with some prophetic word instrumental in the background while I slept.. I slept really good that night as well, then the Lord woke me up at 3AM! And said Mathew 9:18, in a calm voice, then it got a little louder as I was opening and closing my eyes because I was sleepy, then I heard a loud MATHEW 9:18!!! When I tell y’all I shot up and said “okay Lord”. Grabbed my Bible that was next to me and what stuck out to me the most was verses 20-22 which says “Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, She said to herself if I only touch his cloak I will be healed”. That to me stuck out in a way of, I trusted the Lord and I went out to seek what he had for me within the fast. Then verse 22 says Jesus turned and saw her “TAKE HEART DAUGHTER”, he said, “YOUR FAITH HAS HEALED YOU”.. and the woman was healed in that moment..
And when I tell y’all the Lord had healed me from that sharp pain in my head. That is my testimony. And he wants me to do a 3 day water fast within this 21 days of prayer and fasting and best believe I’m going to obey. And I’m 26 turning 27 this year. I’m a single mother and this spiritual journey has not been easy for me. I’m just now trying to get back with God and trying to climb my way up back to the Kingdom. God has also called me to be more of a proverbs 31 woman. I literally watched that proverbs 31 woman video and then this video popped up and the Lord spoke to me through y’all and I am forever grateful. I just thought I'd share my testimony, just being moved by Isaiah 58:6 - 9. In 2022, I was hospitalised and told that I had to take antidepressants to stabilise my mental state. Last year, I felt this conviction from the Holy Spirit to go back to church in my local community and prioritise God through prayer and reading scripture. I'm blessed to say that God has helped me stay off these antidepressants for the last year. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ🙏
I’ve been fasting for a few weeks now and I was going to end it but I felt lead not to. Every am I look on RUclips in general for spiritual growth & came across this message so I clicked for further knowledge. Not knowing God actually sent me here personally. I’m 37 now and have been suffering with Fibromyalgia since I was 17.(it’s bad constant excruciating pain all throughout my entire body, so I could relate). Now I’m convinced I received my breakthrough confirmation and I will be completely healed sooner than later. A few month prior I received prophetic word saying” I will be healed but it’s tied to my spiritual growth “… I just wanted to write back as u guys asked to let u know the word that birthed in me is MY revelation & I receive my healing in the name of Jesus I will no longer accept my diagnosis! This was very refreshing and I thank God for your healing, it encourages me to also share my testimony with you guys, God healed me of an over active bladder and urinary incontinence that I have experienced for 10+ years, it was so embarrassing for me but when my healing came, I didn’t even realize it, until last month Dec 2023, when I looked back and realized that I couldn’t remember the last time I had experienced it. All I remember was that I did a series of fast right after thanksgiving and God broke the yoke of shame, afflictions and infirmities from my body, may His name alone be praised and glorified both now and forever. This is my 1st time sharing this testimony and I’m glad I felt really encouraged to share this with you all, thanks for being a blessing to my life ❤

It’s 4am and I am Fasting & Praying for 21 days right now! I had fallen asleep and woke up to hearing you all beginning to speak on the topic. I then heard you say that your ministry is for couples. I started to turn off my iPad and go back to sleep because I am currently (a single divorced woman) who loves God. Then I heard you say you don’t have to be married for this topic and I decided to listen. I am Thanking God that I did! I know that He led me to it because I was hearing so much TRUTH that I had to get my pen and notebook to take notes! I am the facilitator for a 21 day Fast & Prayer with 25 women who are my friends and they live in various parts of the country (US). We meet every Sunday night for 21 days via Zoom in the month of January. We are reading a book on “Humility” for this Fast…and you all even talked about that too! There were so many things that you all shared that I will be passing on to the ladies. I AM SO GRATEFUL! I pray that God continues to BLESS your ministry. It has certainly BLESSED Me! I will tell couples that I know about you and your ministry too. Praise the Lord! AMEN!!! (Even though you’re a couples ministry, I still SUBSCRIBED because one of my hearts desires to God is for Him to BLESS me with the Man of God He has for me! Hi Ken and Tabatha I just found you fasting and prayer video and I really enjoyed it! I went on a 21 day fast in January and GOD blew my mind by breaking generational curses and strong holds and from that fast I decided this year to fast monthly for 7days; I desire to have a life style of fasting and praying because I now know the difference of fasting which is actually “dieting” when prayer is not attached (learned from your program today ❤) and actual surrendering and starving the flesh and feeding the spirit (another nugget from your show ❤). I thoroughly enjoyed this topic. Yesterday, I invited my sister to join me on a 3 day water fast. She was diagnosed with cancer and after treatment, the cancer is in remission. We are grateful for remission, but I still believe God can heal her 💯. Just maybe the health benefits to fasting and resetting the immune system, might be the way God chooses to heal. Your topic and testimony motivated me all the more. I want to be careful and not pressure her, she is dealing with a lot. don’t want to pressure my sister and I am wlling to stand in the gap on her behalf, but fasting is a challenge for me and I want to succeed at disciplining my flesh and drawing closer to God. As scripture says in Matthew 17:20-21, I just need mustard seed faith and some things are resolved through Prayer AND fasting. Thank you for your ministry. I can do this. Good morning. I have never fasted before. In fact, my church is in the midst of fasting/praying for 21 days. My first day at attempting this with only smoothies and water, I failed. I then thought ok no worries, giving myself grace I said I wouldn't eat anything after 4 and then once I set that goal, I found myself hungrier at night than I was before. I didn't feel led to fast when my church began, it was more ok they are doing it, so let me follow. But I do believe we should first be led by God to fast and how we should fast. So, now that I've added notes after listening to this, I am going to pray then meditate waiting as God allows the Holy Spirit to speak to me. I am feeling rather motivated, so I hope that I can do this. I want to experience that spiritual growth that I hear from others when fasting and praying. I ask that you will whisper my name in prayer. I do want to continue walking with God but I want to draw as close as He will allow me to. Thank you for sharing!
This podcast was truly inspiring. I stayed engaged and enjoyed every second of it. As a 19-year-old experiencing my first fast, I felt led to embark on a water-only fast. Initially, I aimed for seven days, but after watching this and seeking clarity. I want to thank you all for being such wonderful vessels of His message.
I love your example starve one and feed the other. The most effective fast is turning off everything that doesn’t feed the spirit for the duration of your fast. For example not eating but continuing to watch things that inject a spirit of lust, fear, hate, etc… will hinder if not halt one’s results. Thanks for sharing!

Yes! I’m like Tabitha, I love fasting. It’s weird how I will go sun up to down not eating just on accident because I’m working and then when I dedicate a fast for that same timing my flesh becomes so obvious. It’s not just hunger, it’s spiritual. The warfare becomes obvious and the breakthroughs are sooo good!
The flesh is highly distracting with its endless cravings and needing to be filled. When we quiet that out we can hear God better.

This is day 1 of my Daniel fast as well and I also saw this video out of the blue (no coincidences, only God😊) and it helped shed some light and give me tips too! God bless you on your journey and thanks for sharing so people know they are not alone in this 🥰🙏🏽
No such thing as a Daniel fast. That’s a diet.
Actually, the Bible says that it took the angel 21 days to reach Daniel. This is because he had to call for Michael to back him up, as he was being held up by the principality of Persia.
Daniel’s words were heard and his prayers were answered on day 1 (Daniel 10:12), but it was a delay in the spirit that caused him to not receive his answer. So if he received his answer on day 1, he would have stopped fasting. Daniel was in mourning, he did not set to “fast” (Daniel 10:2-3).
This was wonderful! Extremely good teaching! My fiancé was asleep this morning and woke up to this pod cast! I believe in impacted her spirit to start fasting. She is a beginner in Christ. She doesn’t understand the dynamics of spirituality! This differently helped her! Keep up the great work ❤ in Jesus name amen

My church is doing a mid year fast and hasn’t fasted with just water.
What you talked about about the disciples couldn’t remove the demon from the man son but it was there faith that was being tested the unfaithfulness was the the issue and my pastor preached on that today.
Not sure what God is telling me but will humble myself to listen to hear his word.

This is the beginning of a move from God for me, and I thank you guys for sharing the knowledge God has given you both. This is literally an answered prayer. Y’all showed up in my recommendations and I’ve never searched anything about fasting and praying. At the beginning of this week, I told God I was going on a 3 day intermittent fast followed by 3 day water fast. I made it through the first day, messed up yesterday and again today. As soon as I picked up my banana as started eating it, I got on RUclips and here was this video to watch. I finally understand the power of fasting and how important it is. It’s not just a religious thing. I LITERALLY have to starve my flesh 😭😭 that’s the only thing that will allow me to advance in my relationship with God this year. I’ve been praying and reading my bible, but God is calling me further and deeper in him. Fasting is the missing part that I need to get stronger at. The more I starve my flesh, the easier it will become to say no to sin I’ve struggled with in the past. I know I will get stronger and start completing my fasts, it’s just a muscle that has to continue to be worked. Listening to this was very encouraging to fast and go before the Lord with things that are going on in my life, Glad it pop up when I search fasting and prayer.
My church announced that we will be fasting as a church next week. I was not sure if I would because I haven't been taught much about it, but I did feel Him pulling me to participate. Your message is right on time as confirmation for this step He wants me to take. Thank you for explaining fasting- what sounds like something beautiful- so well. I'll be watching this again to prepare for next week's fast with my church. You guys are great. Have a blessed night!

I believe God is speaking to me through you. Answering prayers and I see the enemies trying to tell me it's not true. But I feel stronger because I can do anything through Christ who gives me the strength. I'm having awakenings and lots of breakthrough. 😂❤😢😅🎉

But so encouraged to ask God for deliverance on my negative emotions and depression as well as a tingling on my right hand side, the Neuro specialist could not see anything after MRI. I am laying all this at His cross during this fast. Thank you.

I can honestly say this episode was for me. Life has been hard and challenging, and I found myself asking God where he is in the midst of this and I felt in my spirit to fast for 3 days. I have put it off and it seems as if life is getting worse. This episode touched me in I know I need to do a 3 days fast.
