The front shocks come with 2 rubber bushings and 2 washers. Are these used on the install under the strut mount or just the one washer under the hat and one bushing with washer on top.
I just installed the pro truck adjustable kit on my GX470 and wow! What an amazing improvement over what I had previously installed, (Bilstein HDs). Body roll and nosedive have been significantly reduced. The truck handles amazingly now. I don't do any offroading, but nevertheless, it's finally nice to be able to have my truck look and feel like one. To address the caster issue I installed some aftermarket UCA's. I went for this kit because I wanted something with which i could fine tune the height. I kept the factory air bags, and simply readjusted them, because I didn't want to loose the auto leveling feature. This is my first experience with Eibach so only time will tell how well they hold up; but for the price of the kit, and build quality, i have no complaints.
That is amazing to hear! We are loving the Eibach kit on our 2019 Ranger as well. It's surprising checks a lot of boxes from daily driver, towing, and off-roading.
That rear shock removal isn't as easy as it looked. My 06 had original shocks and that 17mm nut has nearly 19 yrs behind it. That plus the shock spins when trying to remove the nut
Oh ya we have definitely struggled a few times with the rear shocks on FJs, GXs, and 4runners. That lower mount really likes to seize up and the upper mount is definitely hard to grab with to stop from spinning.
Man I wish y’all would have uploaded the final stance with tires and wheels.

For this kit, do you need to get better UCA's in order to align the vehicle or am I good with my stock ones? Thanks!
You don't need to but we really suggest anyone who lifts their truck that they should upgrade to an aftermarket UCA.
@@ShockSurplus good to know. Thanks!

How would you compare, Eibach , 5100 rear shocks, 04 tundra. The difference
We find the Eibach 2.0 rear vs the Bilstein 5100 quite similar. Eibach feels a bit more comfortable overall. Bilstein handled towing much better.
Do you know why I got abs , tracking control and Vis light on after removing air suspension and installed lift kit? I’ve already unplug 3 fuses too.
It sounds like you might have disconnected something during the installation and did not connect it back. Sounds like a speed sensor.
this suspension looks very similar to bilstein 🤔
They are quite similar and from our testing feel quite smooth and solid for day to day driving and towing.
What size tire can I fit with that kit?
Any size you want, it's a matter of how much you want cut away.
OEM rim size 17" no cutting
Can i use the oem top hats for this kit?
That bit of info was skipped during the magic "assemble the shock" part 😂
Yup they are designed to reuse the factory top hats
Whaaa 1st
cheers!
