    Hello, mi hens are opening their beak like yawning sometimes, some have diarrea, 1 always had poop in the eggs, but they are not gasping for air, what I know 1 of them has sour crop everywhere now, se haspoop in the eggs, Irish the liquid how much do you give to each? Thanks

      First thing, hens use to eat sands and little rocks to digest better food since they eat a lot of fibers (grass) therefore, it is important to let them some sand, or rocks at disposal. When they have sour crop, the issue is that the digestion process could not work properly, and many fibers got stuck together, blocking the natural digestive system. Moreover, the fibers that got stuck will soon or later start to ferment and cause different diseases. My recommendation would be in addition to the sand and rocks, a massage on her abdomen to help the transit.
      Avoid any litter that would contain wheat because they are easily injested and often get stuck inside...
      For more information, you can check the internet. Have a good day, and your hens as well. Blessings

    I have just purchased a flubendazole tablet which contains 500mg. I was wondering how many mg I should be giving to the chicken each time, assuming I am going to give it to my chicken twice a day

      Hi, there are two posologies I have found on vet's site, they are both saying the same "3 mg de flubendazole par kg de poids vif et par jour par voie orale pendant 7 jours" which means in English: "3mg of flubendazole per kilogram per day for 7 days"
      In case you want to read the whole notice I copy you two links (french) that you need to translate (Google translate) www.ircp.anmv.anses.fr/rcp.aspx?NomMedicament=CONCENTRAT+V080+FLUBENDAZOLE+3+PORC-VOLAILLE#:~:text=Voie%20orale.-,Porcins%20%3A,15%20ppm%20dans%20l%27aliment.&text=1%2C50%20mg%20de%20flubendazole,voie%20orale%20pendant%205%20jours

    Is embendazole good.
    Pls answer
    I have lost 4 to it before I realized it was gapeworm

    • @JulienMOVAHEDI
      @JulienMOVAHEDI  2 года назад +1

      According to the resources on mebendazol, it is active on round worms. Gapeworm, or sugnamus trachea is a kind of "forked" worm. Moreover, mebendazol seems to not be very effective if taken orally.
      I recommend you to use flubendazole if not too late.

      Okay thanks.
      Pls don't be annoyed
      But what do you mean by if it's not too late.
      I've actually started giving them mebendazol

    • @JulienMOVAHEDI
      @JulienMOVAHEDI  2 года назад

      @@e.michael4200 signamus trachea as it's name suggests, reaches the trachea and if their number increase, it could make the animal to suffocate. If you can use flubendazole use this because their effects are proven on gapeworms. Mebendazol might not be that effective. And don't forget that gameworm eggs can survive to up a year on the ground, so your efforts would be useless if you don't treat the area... good luck
