Its all a matter of taste i suppose but thats where i consistently find ones i prefer to new ones. If someone likes super skinny maple necks they may even prefer newest ones 🤷♂️
Yup... I really like this Jag & happy with your final tortoise shell pick guard decision. Sounds very good via RUclips. Perhaps we can't hear exactly how bright it maybe 🤔 I've never owned a Squier, but if I was in the UK, I'd hit you up for this, given my next guitar will be a Jag. Think I've said that quite a lot over the years & always something else finds its way into the collection. To solve this issue, my only searches have been Jaguars the past few weeks. I do like the Johnny Marr variant and think his switching totally makes sense, it's just they are much the same price out here as the 60th anniversary kind, so roughly double the price of let's say the Vintera II. And that is the same as the 2023 Japanese late 60s collection & quite a bit more than the MIJ traditional collection. Not ovely a fan of either of the Vintera's. Shame the Johnny Marr doesn't have block inlays, which would make it almost perfect... So many choices and half the issue is Jags aren't well stocked in any STORE out here, whereas JM's are the opposite - always well stocked in terms of range available. Good luck with the sale Pauly, I don't think it will last long! Cheers.
The Johnny Marr switching makes perfect sense. The only spec on a proper JM that i dont like is the skinny frets. Everything else is spot on for a jag - but yeh man they are mega expensive, even used. I think because im so into the eastmans anything fendery just sounds bright and thin to my ears atm haha. Im not like officially selling it as i know ill come back round to it - but IF there was anyone local that stumbled upon this id sell it to them haha.
@@Iggytommy I don't mind the switching and I normally don't like artist changes, but the jmarr switching makes sense. I like the classic vibes, but having heard mixed reviews I'd need to find one to play. Easy enough if I lived in a capital, so I tend to buy from a few trusted stores online that know me. I'm hoping something used may turn up soon, but I also like the MIJ ice blue 2023 collection. Cheers.
Every time a very honest review thanks a lot 👍😉
Love my 2012 Jag Vintage Mod. I keep meaning to get a pearl white pickguard for it which I think would look great with the CAR body. One day!
Ive got one spare i can send you mate. Pm me on insta and ill send it you.
Nice. Thanks for the tip about the best years for squiers.

@@Paul-D Well then... No Ernie Eisley for you 🤣& I can't imagine they'd be a JF without Ernie. Is it even possible he's underrated. 🤔
@@nostro1001 get a Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar. You can change the switching if you don't like it.
