(Love the Car, had an Eagle Talon ESi but everytime I even see a GSX it never runs or it's always some "It's an unfinished build but all it needs is..."type deal. Nice brotha for at least keeping it on the ROAD for once and not on Jack stands for the last decade straight then selling it unfinished like 99% of the other 63 owners do lol)
Well, most of were running 400whp to 700whp and at least 70% were doing it with the cheapest parts they could find and usually without doing maintenance first with cars that were 5 to 10 yrs old already, the stigma of them not being reliable was born.

7:58 I had an E46 M3 as my daily for 3 and a half years and NEVER got tired of driving it 😎 but my 97 GSX is still being built in the shop with about $35k in it so far 😩. She should be ready in Oct

I miss my 95/95/97 and 99 GSXs and my 95 and 97 TSi AWDs. Bought them all except one, brand new. All ran 11s. My 96 GSX was Minden Silver Pearl, just like this one.
I can’t imagine the amount of pull it would have to run 11s. I think this dsm Can run 13-14s if I can manage a good launch lol
@@MiguelDsm mods and motors. 🤣 started running 11s on 16gs. Then lower 11s on the Buschur Racing 20Gs. Went to Forced Performance FP Green. And then Eventually FP red. I also ran a few FP blacks on my Evos. Fun times. I love the turbo AWD cars so much, as soon as BMW came out with their xDrive twin turbo M4, for 2022, I had to get one. 503hp stock, and it runs 11.20s @ 124 on 93 pump on the Dragy, all day long. Such a fun car. Pic in my Avatar.

That so called hurricane was a joke im down in San Diego and it just rained for a few hours and that was it lol. Good to see the eclipse get out and stretch his legs no matter how much time gose by that body style still looks amazing

Never got old for me even driving all the time. Had a 1999 GS-T in red in early 2000s and it was fucking awesome! The strut tower rust issue caught me (common) and I sold it to a friend. Worst decision ever, still bummed about it. . Should have sucked it up and got everything welded properly. Great car friend!

I'm picking up my first eclipse in about 2 weeks. Paying $600(canadian) for a roller, I believe it's a 96 gst Can't wait to start building the car!
For me one of the differences between the evo and a dsm is the diffs. The dsm diffs are all mechanical and don't provide as much grip, so the power slides just feel a touch more sledgehammery if that makes sense.
Id have to feel it on the dsm. I’ve only gotten the sense of loss of grip in the Evo

It’s bone stock and auto but I’m so grateful for it, watching this makes me want to mod it SO bad, at least once I get some cash under my name.

brooo no cap I been getting way better learning my 4g dsm and yes bro its raw asfff. if I go turbo my eclipse diamond gonna be a problem because I have the gs which is the 4g69 making 162 and im staying up with camaros and infinti's so hondas and stuff I can take em which is why I love my eclipse even more because ive only done exhaust performance wise besides oil changes and maintenance

I’m currently shooting for 350 out of my eclipse gsx. I’m gonna get the stm down pipe and hks carbon exhaust. What do you recommend for the filler. I believe there is an 18” gap. Don’t want to put a cat on .
