You need to put an equal length exhaust on the s55 powered previous gen m4's. Its the only way to fix the sound. But once they are on, they sound really good specially if you single turbo conversion it.

The thing is with BMW they make a great car I've had M8/M5 F90/ M4 G82. And with every one I have lost a shed load of money its BMW as a brand they flood the market with M products and that the problem. My M4 G82 I had for a year and 3month I paid 88k it was fully loaded with the ultimate pack and was offered 64k a year and 3month up the road . But look they make a great car and if you have deep pockets and don't mind the hit go for one.

A stock M3 Touring, for example... An owner would be looking at around 7,000 EUR per year for insurance and tax. Disgusting!

A M3 Touring would go well with your GT3T and CGT. Unless you need to go off-road, then surely this is a better daily than your RR.
M2 is the one real reason I like bmw that car is perfect and I like the M8

What you hear is the ASD. With it disabled the exhaust still sounds good and blurbs but you won't hear it as much.
