I see a small problem with magbulb... heat weakens and eventually demagnetizes magnets... light bulbs (even CFL and LED) tend to get hot... Perhaps if you're just using the magbulb with the lower wattage (and wattage equivalent CFL/LED) such as 40w and 60w lights used in vanity and ceiling fans and such they will remain cool enough to not cause a problem long term, but 100w and their equivalents and higher can get quite hot in extended use.
depends what type of river you are drinking from, some rivers are actually really clean and healthy for you. But better off getting a filter or a water separation tool.
