Amazing! What a great video! It's very informative and pleasing to watch, so many beautiful shots!😍😍😍 I'm planning a trip to Japan, it will be my first time. I've been doing research on the islands and I think Miyako is the island I'd like to explore first. The beaches there look amazing with so much marine life. I can’t wait to get in the water and explore. What months do you think are less touristy? Also, what months of the year does it rain the least? My Japanese still isn't that great so I can't really understand the Japanese website where all the good information is. hehehe.😓 Thanks again for such a lovely video. New subscriber here!
Thank you so much for your kind words! This one was our very first video on RUclips (and we did every step of the process for the first time - planning, recording, editing, uploading) and it is so great to hear, that you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. It means the world! Miyako Island is definitely a must-visit, one of our favorite places in the entire Japan. To avoid the crowds, consider visiting in the quieter months of spring (April-May) or autumn (September-October, some say even November!). We went at the end of May and most of the time we had the whole beach to ourselves! Very few tourists. Also heard from quite a few friends that live in Japan, that November is a great time to go there (but it might be a bit tricky: it can be cloudy and rainy). Normally, June through July are considered to be rainy months. I guess the absolute best advice we can give is to make sure to check the weather forecast before departure as an occasional typhoon could hit the island. Typhoon season generally lasts from May to October, although they may occasionally hit outside of this period. Okinawa tends to experience more typhoons than the mainland. Thank you for subscribing, it's great to have you on board! Do ask questions, we are here to help with those Japanese websites :)
thank youuuuu! yes, it is a special place that left me speechless honestly! We found this little hidden gem when we were wandering around the area. Put "Pikyazu ピキャズ" in your Google Maps search bar and that will take you to the right spot!
Heyy! Sorry - that was our very first video, and we didn't realize back then the importance of putting names 😉 here are the names of the beaches from the video: 06:04 - Sunayama Beach (by far the most beautiful one!) 6:44 - Shigira Beach (abundance of the marine life) 6:53 - Sunayama again (this little secluded sandy part can be accessed by water only from Sunayama Beach. You don't even need to swim - just walk around the cliff that is on the left side of the beach👌) 6:59 - Shigira Beach again. 7:06 - This one is Irabu Island. Put "17End" into your Google maps search bar, and you will be able to get there. Fun spot where you can observe the planes landing on the island 🏝) 7:18 - Yonaha Beach. It's probably the best one for swimming as there are no corals. Enjoy your trip to Miyako ❤️
@@Thebirdyy12998 We stayed 4 days and we had a bit of rain one day in the afternoon, but the temperature that day was 26/27 degrees celsius. I had other days that the temperature was 28 degrees it was cloudy sometimes in the morning but still hot. and then all sunny. I was there for Halloween they had a little halloween festival fair (particular because it was hot ...the pumpkins were made of cardboard 😆). I think if you go in early October the weather is better. I arrive there on the 26th of October and I stayed until the 29th and then I moved to Naha.
