Alright, let's break down the steps you can take to figure out and beat each defense based on the video:
    ### **Cover 3 Defense:**
    **1. Understand Cover 3:**
    - Cover 3 involves three defenders responsible for deep zones.
    - Strengths: Guards deep routes well.
    - Weaknesses: Vulnerable in the seams and flats.
    **2. Beat Cover 3:**
    - Use plays with seam routes to exploit the seams.
    - Example Play: Verticals from Trips Tight End Flex.
    - Target the wide receiver on the seam for quick gains.
    - Use flood concepts to attack multiple zones.
    - Example Play: Eagles Post Rail from the same formation.
    - Create a flood concept by putting streak, corner, and flat routes to one side.
    - Exploit the zone coverage for big gains.
    ### **Cover 2 Defense:**
    **1. Understand Cover 2:**
    - Cover 2 involves two defenders responsible for deep halves.
    - Good at guarding seams and flat routes.
    - Weaknesses: Vulnerable in the deep center and deep corners.
    **2. Beat Cover 2:**
    - Use flood concepts, similar to Cover 3.
    - Example Play: Bench from the Tight Offset TE formation.
    - Streak one receiver and drag another, creating a flood to one side.
    - Exploit the space between zones for gains.
    - Exploit the deep center and corners.
    - Example Play: PA Seams.
    - Streak one receiver and motion another to create mismatches.
    - Attack the deep center and corners for big gains.
    ### **Cover 4 Defense:**
    **1. Understand Cover 4:**
    - Cover 4 involves four defenders responsible for deep quarters.
    - Strengths: Guards deep routes well.
    - Weaknesses: Vulnerable underneath, especially to out routes.
    **2. Beat Cover 4:**
    - Smart route out routes to exploit the flats.
    - Example: Smart route the outside receivers for easy completions.
    - Take advantage of the space underneath for consistent gains.
    - Use high-low reads over the middle.
    - Example: Utilize concepts with drag and deep crossing routes.
    - Put defenders in conflict to open up spaces for passes.
    ### **Match Defense:**
    **1. Understand Match Defense:**
    - Match defense aims to match defenders with specific routes.
    - Can be exploited by mesh concepts.
    **2. Beat Match Defense:**
    - Utilize meshing concepts.
    - Example Play: Mesh from the Tight Slots Half Back Week formation.
    - Run drag routes from opposite sides, causing confusion and creating openings.
    - Prevent the defense from matching.
    - Example: Use formations with four receiving threats on one side.
    - Move running back to the other side to break match assignments.
    ### **Man Defense:**
    **1. Understand Man Defense:**
    - Man defense involves defenders covering specific offensive players.
    - Routes need to beat man coverage.
    **2. Beat Man Defense:**
    - Use plays with crossing routes.
    - Example Play: Speed Dig from Gun Bunch.
    - Streak one receiver, put another on a drag, and motion for mismatches.
    - Crossers and drags can beat man coverage consistently.
    - Exploit matchups with man-beating routes.
    - Example: Utilize concepts with crossing routes, drag routes, and out routes.
    - Identify favorable matchups and exploit them for gains.
Remember to adapt these strategies based on the specific plays and formations you prefer in your playbook.

I loved it, but I really am still looking for a user control tip on the quarterback play. I’ve tried multiple things in multiple games when it comes to the quarterback just hit the a button and don’t touch anything. I’ve tried holding the left trigger down the right trigger down both triggers down. I’ve also pressed the left button or analog stick in slightly.

    my question is:
how are we supposed to use multiple different play books in a single game. Like i cant just change mid game because i see a cover 2 zone. How can i work around this problem???

    • @RickardsDY
      @RickardsDY 6 месяцев назад +1

I think this might be because of the type of cover 3 you’re playing against, I noticed this when playing against a cover 3 sky weak instead of hard flat. Might be wrong but I’m trying to learn too.
