Just an idea for the waders. We use GRUNDENS bibs and boots while on the boat. Get the next size up for both. So if you do go over you can slip out of them. But we usually don’t have the depth of the water like you have. But it is great that we are wearing a floatation device.

Man so I run a 1200 foot (365 meter) crab line here in Maryland, U.S. and I get it snagged sometimes. I usually have to cut it and then tie the cut ends after I get it loose. From now on I’m just going to wrap it around the front cleat and pull it free. Wish I would have thought of that before lol. Good stuff.

I know you like simple, but if you ever want something new, or something that takes a little work, make some deviled brown crab. Also crazy baby smash is 2 now. He's growing so fast. For me, Snow crab would be tops, then Atlantic blue crab, then Spider, never had Velvet or Shankers before.
Mind your fingers, you may think its a bit of shell...............keep safe out there.
When you crack the back, do you use the liquid inside? Here in Oregon (USA), some of us like the “crab butter” and dip the crab meat in it. I, for one, love that stuff. Great show today.

Hi Smash, what’s the difference between a “manky old spider crab” and a keeper spider crab ?
Haha great question, when I say a manky crab , I’m looking at the colour of the crab (bright orange is a good healthy crab ) also I’m feeling how heavy the crab is as that will be full of meat we’re a light crab is a recent shedder , crabs with pale shel or black parts of damage or a dark red shell is usally not a good crab , also if limbs are missing il call it a bit manky lol I hope that answers your question, thanks for watching

Yes , also when we get big tides the ropes wrap round big boulders an pull the floats down
