I grew up catching mullet and brims ,blue gills and catfish 😎 Only difference between me and Tug is the Fam fried or boiled the fish. With a side of mashed potatoes, yellow white, or brown rice, grits, fried potatoes of any shape preferably steak cut potatoes. The fish was seasoned with fresh garlic, paprika, salt or sea salt, and being from Florida we used limes not lemons or both. If you don’t have lime or lemon use vinegar 👍 and don’t forget the flour and corn meal 😎

I will have to try this for sure, it looked amazing. I have always wanted to try to eat mullet because the meat looks so good when I cut chunks to surf fish. Keep making videos and I will keep watching, as you can tell I am even watching the older ones too. God bless and good life. When I bought my new sealer I decided to use my old one for all the bait, crab bait, surf fishing, smaller shrimp it works just enough for that.

It is also a delicacy and used in cooking. Mainly eat it straight of the drying rack. It’s called Bokkoms. Would be awesome to see you make a video making it. 😁

Just a heads up for when you grill . The heat will melt and disfigure that vinyl siding if you are not careful. I would pull the grill I'm using out and away from the wall. As a Handyman I've had to replace siding for this very reason , and it's not fun or easy .. Enjoy your videos especially the crabbing videos that bring back childhood memories of weekends on the Chesapeake Bay .
Also , lately on several of the channels I follow I've noticed that the Closed Captioning is not available . It used to be on rare occasion , usually when the video was really new , but lately I've noticed it on videos that are a couple of days old . Those of us who are hearing impaired rely on the CC to help us follow along . I understand this is nothing of your doing but We don't really have a direct line to contact RUclips and I was hoping that maybe you do . First time I ever ate smoked fish was smoked mullet in Sarasota, Florida in the 1950s. There was a commercial fisherman on Siesta Key where we bought it when visiting my grandmother. We were surprised that most Florida people considered mullet a trash fish... not to eat, but to use as bait or crab bait. Now I live in Hawaii and mullet are a delicacy... usually steamed and then pour hot peanut oil over it. I usually take mine to the local Chinese Resturant and have them prepare it. Mullet fishing is highly regulated with size and bag limits and closed seasons. No one smokes mullet in Hawaii. LOL.

Here on the Mississippi gulf coast that's "Biloxi bacon". During the Civil war the pork went to our troops, so we smoked mullet for our breakfast. I throw a 10 foot net with chain weight since it don't tangle as bad as lead weights. I prefer my mullet fillets rolled in cornmeal and fried in peanut oil along with the gizzards.

If it taste as good as you make it look, and I’m sure it does, then I’m keeping my next catch of mullet. Thank you for the video.
