yes, it is amazing. I figured a few more things out on it since I installed it, there are two ways to adjust the tension on the pole to get the best possible movement. It is an awesome unit.
Curious if you could confirm the height of the base mount vertically? I need 7 inches to get above my Ranger Reata fish and ski and want to be sure it it’s tall enough to get over the side of my boat! Also curious how long it is to get out off the side of the boat? Thank you
That is a good question and I do not have a good answer right now as I do not have my boat, but I can tell you that if you need 7 inches you will have it for sure. I believe and again going by what I remember it is 10-12 inches both up and out. I hope that helps. To be safe, you might call beatdown directly but I am pretty sure you will clear the side of your boat as people with Rangers (the older ones with the huge sides) use these all the time. Thanks for watching and a great question. If you find the answer, please put it in here.
Did not realize they are selling at Bass Pro now. I would check out the Beatdown Outdoors website, the entire system is only a little less there and let me say, it is solid and does not move unless you want it to! If you order off the Beatdown site you can use my code and save 15%. Check the video description for the discount code.
I'm considering this product. I'd like to know if you're still a fan of this product 2 years into it? I just ditched my SeeLite; hated it! Also, interested in why the beatdown product versus the shut up and fish poleducer? Thanks bro
I very much am a fan of it still. I did recently switch to a different pole, only because I did not have a way on my new boat to mount it with through bolts. My old boat, the one in the video had access where I could put my arm through and put a washer and a bolt in from the bottom. My current boat does not have that access so I ended up with the Sniper Marine Pole that mounts to my Ultrex. But to answer your question, I am and will always be a Beatdown Outdoors fan. I am still using the Ultimate double graph mount and the console mount. Other than not being able to mount it like I did before, it was an AMAZING pole and would recommend to anyone.
Cool design I like that it breaks away and detaches very easily.
yes it is a great mount!
Looks like an awesome mount. I need to take a look at one. Thanks

The mount isn’t even on their site!
I will find the link. I think the new site opens tomorrow. You can call them also for info until it opens. They just released it.
Thanks for watching.
