I think its really cool how much of an equal rogue felt like with the doctor. River held herself equal but her life always seemed to revolve around the doctor in some way. Rogue is just... another guy who happens to exist at the same level as the doctor narratively. It really makes the romance work whereas with companions it doesnt always feel as natural.

The part that gets me so emotional is Rouge isn’t mad at the Doctor he completely understand which makes me cry more. The flower throw just breaks my heart
So tragically and beautifully rendered. The Doctor crying; Rogue gently wiping away his tears before kissing him as a distraction to save Ruby and as a reward for the sacrifice he knows he's about to make... Ahhhh I must have rewatched this scene a dozen times.
@oliviadonaldson3826 I didn't say it would, I said The Actor wants to return. And with the chemistry of the two and the fact the episode was somewhat positively received, there's not much reason for RTD not to.
@To-New-Beginnings. I really hope so tbh I'd love to see rogue and the doctors chemistry/adventures more yk it seems to be likely but bc of close minded people it may not happen smh
yeah but nobody can escape the triform. how did the rogue "push" ruby out? and if an outside force can push, someone trapped, out, couldn't they just push rogue out aswell?
It was set for 6 so that's what it locked too, While in the blue Rouge was able to matter exchange with Ruby, the computer legit speaks it out loud and then he pressed the button to send them all down.
@@SuperverseProductions Thank you. But I am bit of an sceptic. How would Doctor know if in the dimension, abandoned would be even oxygen? Would they really live? Would Roughe be able to get alive out of there? How is gonna get out of the situation with five of Chuldurs? I don't think, for the moment, he got good chances to live this trough.
@travelisio I'm sure he would since he asked how long they live for, and Rouge responded with 600 years, I believe, so the doctor said, "Good, that's a long time to suffer." Which implies where he sent them does have oxygen, and I am certain Rouge knows how to survive himself, so I guarantee he is gonna survive in whatever dimension he ends up in.
I admit it I'm obsessed with this scene so much, I loved the love story with River Song and I'm glad we're getting another one now ! It's fine to me to see the doctor being in love with both men and women, he's literally able to regenerate as a man or a woman and his past regeneratio was a woman so ofc it's obvious that he's more into boys in this era. If anyone here in this comment section is mad at this then just ask yourself why you came here at first ? If you're so mad about this scene why are you doing everything to comment in this video? You're just as obsessed as I am but just cant admit it. ❤
There was a little scene in Wild Blue Wonder where 14th doctor told Donna that he found a guy cute, the 14th doctor bi regenerated hours after so 15th doctor is still fresh to 13th doctor
ok, get hired by the BBC and act out Rogue, see how you do. you're just projecting how awful you really are by trying to pass on blame to other actors who have had years of experience. maybe also possibly projecting homophobia, since the romance between Rogue and the Doctor is a sort of secondary storyline
@@InktoAngie18 I’m gay, just getting that out of the way first. Jonathan Groff, the actor for Rogue, I admit has some years on his career. I personally think he could’ve done better, since he’d been on broadway. I’m definitely not projecting. Groff had barely any facial expressions in his episode on Doctor Who and that really bothers me. It felt like Rogue deserved better. Perhaps he was supposed to be physically emotionless? Which would make for a more interesting character development (let’s be real, he’s already interesting) if he ever comes back.
You make a bad remark like that, but you clicked ON THIS VIDEO, and then scrolled down and wrote a comment about, so your either obsessed but wont admit it, just blankly arrogant for choosing to take time of your day to write a series you clearly watch, Or you just angry because Doctor Who had a gay kiss moment. The funny thing is, I believe Rogue is a regenerated River Song with his memories altered.

the Whovian version of Han Solo. very not bad 👏👏👏

I love Rogue! We must find him and protect him at all cost!
The Doctor: I was about to have a husband... T_T
Just pointing out that the actor who plays Rogue said he wants to return one day, so I'm guessing around season 3/16, The Doctor will find him. :)
Why 3/16?
@oliviadonaldson3826 Because it's season 16 since 2005, and season 3 since RTD took over again.
@To-New-Beginnings. no I mean how do you know know that it will happen in this season? Not the next one

I think he will be more like Jack- companion from time to time, but always awesome. ;-)
yeah but nobody can escape the triform. how did the rogue "push" ruby out? and if an outside force can push, someone trapped, out, couldn't they just push rogue out aswell?
I think it's because the trap was set at 6 so Rogue pulled a quick Indiana Jones and took Ruby's place

This is 15. Jodie was 13. She regenerated into David Tennant, who was previously 10 but now 14, who then bi-generated into 15.

Rogue reminds me a bit of River, so I wouldn't mind him as a love interest for the Doctor (actually I could kinda see him as a regeneration of River)
Dude, my heart sank at this scene
I both really really love it and am crying from it 😭 aaaaaa
I really really need to see more of the doctor and Rogue 🥰
What is the name of the music playing in this video?
Why didn’t he just switch the real Chuldur for Ruby?
The trap needed to be locked at six
Rogue is amazing but he is no river song
Rogue had the most dull acting I think I’ve ever seen.

Technically he's bisexual as he's kissed both men and women. And as a fellow bi, piss off with your prejudice
