    This made our replacement of the hose straightforward, thanks. Now, I wish the hose wouldn't have developed a leak after only two years of moderate use . . .

    Thank you for this. Super-helpful! I had some trouble pushing the new hose up (it was getting stuck on some obstruction about 10" or 25 cm up). So I kept twisting it clockwise and eventually the hose made it past the obstruction. My old system had a spring around the hose ... I guess the new systems have a weight?

    So easy. Do you have a video of doing this with your right angle faucet? I can't seem to get the hose out ..

    Our Bridgeford kitchen faucet (part 33 870 apparently) has sprung a leak in the braided hose near the faucet head. We got a replacement through the vendor, Frank Webb Home, but it is coiled metal. Will this work as a replacement and is the process the same as in this video?

    We can not see the quick water coupler for the first hose unscrew because our large sink blocks it. The coupler is pretty high up and not sure I can do it by feel. We need a plumber to come out you think?

    On mine, the plastic threaded end of the nozzle cracked, where it connects to the hose. Is this a common replacement part, or do I need to order one?

    My Grohe Ladylux Zedra Cafe doesn't have a weight... does that matter? It was installed during a kitchen renovation. Thanks! Nicole

    • @GROHE
      @GROHE 4 года назад

      Hi Nik 150, if the Ladylux Zedra Café you are using has a nylon braided pull out spray hose then it will need the barrel shaped weight. If the hose is metal, then it utilizes a metal spring that should be located on the hose under the sink.

    Great video. I have a ~18 year old Grohe A 112 18 1M 2.2 gpm UPC faucet. The hose is leaking. However, I am not able to pull the hose out of the faucet AFTER disconnecting it from high pressure hose and removing the weight. Feeling like the cobber header (with thread) is not able to go through the faucet. Any idea why ? This is a rarely used faucet as it is located in basement sink.

    I have a leaky Grohe faucet hose. However I cannot find the part number and cannot find any thing similar in local suppliers. Any idea? Should go ahead and change the whole faucet? On the other note, Grohe is kind of pricy and didn’t expect it would fail in less than 3 years.

      @@GroheAmerica Nice! I'll do that next time. This time, pulling up the old hose would get stuck. Some lube got it further. Pushing the end up with a long screwdriver got it past the bend.

      You can also take off the top part of the faucet. The curvy bit. Just wiggle it around a bit while pulling up gently and it should pop off. There's a little metal ledge in the curvy bit that gets it hung up

      I have a similar problem. I got the old hose out and took the curvy part off the top, but the new hose won't feed past the on/off tap - seems to be blocked at that point.

      Hello, thank you for your question! For this, there really isn’t a trick to getting the hose to come up through the body of the faucet. You just have to twist and pull until it squeezes by the other lines. - GROHE Social Team.

    • @TRaddcliff

      @@GroheAmerica thanks. I had already resorted to that and it worked. I was replacing the old ribbed “metal” hose with the new braided hose. By the way the new braided hose is MUCH better. The coupling is smaller and fits thru the housing better. And the water comes out “textured”, so it doesn’t splash all over the place. The old hose seemed like it offered no airation, came out as a solid stream and would splash everywhere. The new hose is 100% better.

    Pretty sure those types of faucets are called pull-down not pull-out.
