The Professional Mode saves every setting or macro you made on the controller, as opposed to wiping every setting when you turn it off in its regular mode.
I love the video! if there's anything to add it would be that there's too much delay when you showcase spiderman holding the controller that looks nice, but I think the video pacing would be much better if you just continue to show it while still keep talking in the background great stuff!
Also good thing to know, the non pro version is the exact same controller but without the silver accents, its all black, only thing the pro version has you can change the sense of your sticks and triggers, for whoever needs that.
thats exactly what im looking in to, diference from aliexpress is 20 euros, between pro and non pro version, and only thing what i wish non pro had sensitivity adjustement for triggers, rest dont matter for me, also full black look better so non pro kinda looks better for me
@@probabot1849 yep this is why i got pro, working great just need gulikit adapter cause normal bluetooth needs to be very close to pc, ordered few weeks ago, hope it solves my issues
Hey man, I am brazilian and love 2d fighting games. Great channel, I am loving to watch your videos about controllers review. Would you say that the king kong 2 pro D-pad is better than the xbox one D-pad or they fill the same? I play a lot of MK11 and SF5 on the xbox controller on pc. (Sorry about my bad english)
Note that there's nothing in the controller to prevent users from pushing the bumpers down too hard and snap the buttons underneath them off the PCB completely. Not a big problem for most, but people who are usually quite rough with their controllers will likely break them quite easily.
I heard that stick drift will not be an issue I am concerned about trigger feel. I want to replace my Xbox controller to play dayz and he'll let loose because the Xbox controller is just weird
Which of the three following controllers is the best for fighting games and regular gaming in your opinion: Xbox Series S/X controller, Gullikit King Kong Pro 2 or 8bitdo ultimate?
@@foxringsred1338 I asked around in fighting game discord servers and ppl told me that xbox series x controller is the best one for my purposes. have no complaints or regrets. the d-pad feels great and it's a very good controller all-around.
The Series S/X controller is actually pretty good for fighting games. I wish the Elite was as well but that d-pad just isn’t it for me with the added weight of the controller.
Can you help me to choose between this controller and the newly released 8bitdo ultimate controller, they both have a sense stick and they're looking so good.
In my opinion this controller is much better than the 8bitdo. The new 8bitdo is smaller and feels cheaper. I have big hands so the 8bitdo wasn't super comfortable. They go for the same.price so I would just go for the king Kong one
You can't, all the keycaps have different heights and are angled differently to match the contour of the controller. If you want Xbox control schemes you'll have to fork out more to buy their keycaps separately. The funny thing is they don't sell the Switch keycaps separately, I know one guy who managed to scratch his and can't find replacements for them.
Wish you tested its Bluetooth functionality/ input lag. I'm looking for a wireless controller with the least input lag. I'm thinking DS5, but I might just get a 8bitdo ultimate Xbox because that response time would be crispy for rocket league
@@ayubmaruf3074 I went with the 8Bitdo Ultimate Wired Controller. Have had no problems with stick drift or anything the last couple months. It's a very responsive and well built controller for only $35. Highly recommend.
Triggers don't have enough travel unlike the xbox or the ps5 controller. They bottom out too early . Not good for driving games. But yeah I found them good with shooters. The other worse thing about it. It doest not have mobile phone clamp . And some told xbox clamp does not fit on them.
Just a heads up for anyone that want to buy this controller for fighting games. If you wanna play kof, guilty gear or any game that has a lot of command inputs this joystick is not for that, you need to put to much pressure and is hard to slide. If you only play games that don't relies too much on commands it will work but still not made for fighting games.
really? so i should stick with the switch pro controller ? because the hori fighting its way to alien for me i dont like how the r1 and r2 is near the buttons
You should test wireless/BT with vibration on. Gulikit seems to have cheaped out on the CPU or the BT chip, so the controller itself can cause frame drops in certain games (Rocket League for example drops for me up to 40 frames with this controller, wireless and vibration on). This doesn't happen with Dualsense for example. Professional mode saves your custom settings if you applied any. Otherwise it wipes all settings on controller reboot. Are you going to review the 8bitdo Ultimate BT as well? I am curious about the polling rate as it's supposed to use the same type of sticks that don't drift.
I'm looking at this review for Rocket League, I have thousands of hours and would need a controller to be high end to be a good fit for me, ofc i'd use it wired I'm a little turned off by how clicky the bumpers and face buttons seem to be, if they are Xbox style bumpers those always broke on me, and I don't like Thrustmaster clicky face buttons
its unusable over bluetooth, terrible inputlag, even on newest firmware, if they dont fix this this controller is useless on bluetooth lol..... on cable its great, but kinda annoying to have to use a cable because they cant get their bluetooth right....
