What you're saying about the storage facility problem makes total sense to me. A chunk of the bridge on mine just splintered off as if it was super dried-out. It also needed a lot of setup work out of the box. Other than that though, I love it HAHA. They are sending me a new one apparently that's been "inspected".
I was just looking at getting this guitar. I have a recording king rm-998 resonator but I’ve wanted a parlor for a while. Thanks for the upload and input as always
I bought the dirty 30s one, £120. The tuner broke when I changed the stings and the neck has an up bow but the truss rod is jammed so I can’t adjust it. The frets are sharp too.
@@FlowforthInstruments love it, thank you! See this is one of the reasons I follow this channel, when your viewer's ask you try to accommodate, gonna share this in my recording king group, its very active too
I do love these, still my faves but I do appreciate the review, I work on my stuff as well so maybe I'm biased because stuff that isn't a huge deal to me may be unplayable and unusable to a beginner. Still love them , but I guess it is buyer beware with these now, unfortunately
Yes, if you can work on them you certainly can find some RK gems. It just annoys me that there are more blems and seconds on the market than anything else.

Just got my dirty 30 7 series. Came in great shape and plays well after a truss adjustment.
Glad to hear.

Sure - it's a very moderately priced parlour but expect to do some set up.

Yes, unfortunately there are so many defective ones on the used market.

@@codybuffoord3172 Cool - I' d love to hear what they think of all the damaged ones flooding the used market. I don't think it helps their profile.

I have heard of a guy in the south who buys these, does a complete set-up and resells them with a $100.00 mark-up.
There are a few resellers - mostly damaged ones.
Crap guitars I had one and sold it, Jim dandy is much nicer.😮
Good to know thanks.

@@FlowforthInstrumentsAe you making a point about English readable comments in RUclips or just being snarky with sarcasm?
@@DougHinVA I was just being flippant - never any malice intended my brother.

🧐 🧐 👁️ They are fantastic guitars, I have had the most expensive, but Recording is superior even in price, 👍👍👍👍👍👍
