Yes I gave this video a like and here’s why. You are a fearsome looking dude Bryan, but your manner is calm and delivery confident, without gimmicks. We all know there are a lot of guys out there doing exactly this type of video, but it’s always a pleasure to come Here. Thank you.
Nice work Bryan, I like the way you share your content. Keep it up. Thank you for staying in this creative mode and helping us to learn more with your tips and ideas
@@BryanFrancisco can't wait. i created a travel video when we went to boracay and i made sure to apply the feedback you gave me in my other video to shoot in different variations. i'd love for you to check it out: ruclips.net/video/tIdMldCKct4/видео.html
Are there any camera stabilizers you'd recommend for an amateur? I just have a canon t3i so nothing fancy at all but I want to get a (affordable lolol) gimbal for it but I don't know which to get!
Vinaini Jayasinghe personally I feel like you shouldn’t cheap out on stabilizers etc. I know that sounds dumb but if you save up enough it’ll be wayyyy more worrhit
Vinaini Jayasinghe Hi, hope I can help by adding a response, Gimbals have really dropped in price for cropped sensor cameras and all the major brands make excellent small gimbals, Ronin, Moza and Zhiyun, all do lightweight gimbals shown in this video. If you want to throw on mics, lights and monitors, these smaller one will not cut it.
I agree with everyone here, but personally, if you want to keep your setup small and lightweight - I'd look into the Zhiyun Weebill-S. It's my main, go to gimbal at the moment. Great for quick, run and gun shoots
Hey Bryan, thanks a lot for your tips and sharing! I was amazed how footage can look, if you just use daylight / windows properly. It sounds simple, but I'm new at filmmaking and it really surprised me ^^. Now I have to figure out how to apply your tips, if I want to film myself during a workout. Without a motorised slider, I can't pull of these smooth camera movement of yours^^'' (Except perhaps in post, but it's not the same ... ^^'')
Definitely get creative when you're at the gym. Just use a mini tripod like a gorilla pod and film at different angles. Then maybe in post, add some subtle movement by slightly zooming in
Cool video as always hello it’s warren Urbexing have been a fan of your work for ages this is a new channel I have could you have a look into the intro to zombieland would love to know how they do the editing for the titles and especially the glass break that is an awesome into I am on about zombieland 2009 not the new one i think this might give you a challenge with editing
@@BryanFrancisco i believe it will put your creative side to the test ruclips.net/video/lXGu2fKG84o/видео.html&has_verified=1 here is a youtube video if it helps it is mainly the title scenes ie where it shows up rule #1 cardio and it will beat like a heart beat with the sound effect as well the is also a pain of glas that breaks that look really cool as well glad you are still doing well and your channel has come a long way since i first started watch the videos keep up the amazing tutorials with out you i would still only know how to mash clips together and put music on them no sound effects or transitions Thank you
Dude is that a city of Waterloo sign? I didn’t know you were from around here that’s crazy I’ve been watching you for so long man! If you ever need a hand with some videos shoot me a message I’d love to help out!
The other technical name is Stabiliser. It has three motors on it that compensate for your movement, giving a much steady and parallel to the horizon shot. With longer focal lengths these items are incredibly helpful, as doing hand held becomes increasing more difficult as the focal length increases.
Really nice video with good points, but I noticed you had items moving through the foreground, so to stop the camera re-focusing, you would have had to use manual focus. Would of been good to mention this so people know how you are setting up the camera, manual focus is definitely not intuitive.
I actually had autofocus on for my clips. It did a great job focusing on the subjects face. But manual is definitely a great option to just fully avoid it from refocusing
the most mis- and overused word in the history of video youtube tutorials? -> "cinematic" let's see how well one does without the following: NO speed ramping, NO slow-motion, NO post - stabilization. left will be: a very select few creative people with the skills to enable their good ideas and a bunch of gear and gadget-obsessed amateurs who have zero ideas for meaningful stories but videos full of fancy camera movements and digital effects devoid of content.
Nick Ruechel That may very well be true, but these tools are available and people can use them. I do like to play with the speed to match music so the transition are were I want them, yes story telling is important, but so is B roll, it all goes hand in hand. I personally need to work on the talking head stuff, so we all have our weakness and areas we need to focus on.
Thanks for sharing that! I appreciate your feedback. I like to hear "positive" ways of improving and getting better, instead of trying to trash other people and bring them down. No room for that in here.
