Growing up in Milwaukee i was NOT a fan of the big guns from places far away coming to my local tracks and dominating ASA, ARTGO and USAC stock car races. In other words i didnt root for Joe Ruttman, Rusty, Mark Martin. Once they hit NASCAR that all changed, especially Ruttman. In the trucks i rooted HARD for Ruttman, Keselowski, Bob Strait, Butch Miller. Ruttman became like Dick Trickle, someone who DESERVED some SUCCESS at the “highest level”. Ive often wondered what would have happened if Trickle put a full effort into truck series and challenged the status quo….
Watching the truck races in chronological order ive noticed that, when trucks alter their rides after qualifications, they go to the rear for the start. But those trucks werent owned by #3 or #24 truck owners🙄
THANK YOU for the AWESOME post, GOOD action HERE
Thanks! Never seen a race at Monroe before.
great race! short track babe!
Aw man, I miss Steve.
I was at this race and qualifying the night before, didn't know Harvick was there.
You do not have to brag, about it.
