Thanks, I'm really happy with how it turned out. If you skip towards the end, you can see it with the Rusty's 2" lift in this video ruclips.net/video/yCeFm7L_ncA/видео.html
i just bought the new 21 overland gecko lime green i wanna pt some bfg allterians on it i like the beefy look i was gonna put the teraflex 1n half inch level kit on the front and a daystar 3/4 spacer on the rear to keep some rake i choose this way so i can leave everything stock i hate shock extenions there cheesey n want to run my stock sway bar link it be differnt if i was gonna offroad it i did upgrade my overland to the factory fox rubicon shocks as you can buy new take offs on ebay cheap as i bought some new take offs with 20 miles cheap upgrade from stock shocks its nice to know 35s will fit with no lift the bfg are techenally 34.5 so might not even put a lift on mine great video oh i have negative 18 offset fuel wheels n and i dont think they stick out as far as yours
That's going to look awesome! Which lift did you go with? Be sure to make how much actual lift you get, front and rear. With the Rusty's 2" lift, I got 2.5" front, and 1.5" rear. Gave me 1" of rake, which is exactly what I wanted.
I just installed 35/12.50 R18's on my '22 Overland stock rims with no lift. The only thing I did was add 1.75" Hub-centric spacers. No rub lock to lock, drives fine. So short answer, 12.50's on stock rims with no lift. Just needs spacers.
Great video. Replacing the stock Overland rims which I don't care for with Rubicon takeoffs. I suspect I'll go with 285/70R17 DuraTracs, but those do look great. Also thinking about a leveling kit as I don't want to lift. Video was very informative.
Thanks. The Durtracs are great tires. A close friend also has a Gladiator, he did a small leveling kit in the front and has been debating on tires. He's probably going with a 295/70/17, which would be just slightly taller and wider than the 285/70 you mentioned. Just another option for you. Definitely come back and post about what you decided to go with!
I’m trying to decide if I should go w a Mojave or highlander any suggestions? I definitely wanna go 35 maybe 37 tires …. Not sure if I want 4.10 or 3.76 idk do u feel like u need to rehear?
Honestly I’ve never noticed a difference. Technically the sidewalls should be thicker/stiffer so maybe they ride a little stiffer but on Jeep you really wouldn’t notice. I run them around 32 psi (cold). They are wearing evenly and I think they ride nice. And I like the additional side wall strength when towing a trailer, etc.
I'm glad you asked. I did a full review on the Ridge Grappler noise level. ruclips.net/video/17j4sqjiWr0/видео.html and also a 10k mile review here ruclips.net/video/BIeD2nxCN_g/видео.html
@@ScrufsGarage I have a 2021 High Altitude with package 24N. It has the wide axles. Based on a quick measurement my rims have around a 20mm positive offset.
Those are the factory rubicon rock sliders. My Overland model originally came with side steps but I swapped them out for the factory rubi rails. Very easy to do. ruclips.net/video/2pJ981uUH64/видео.html
@@ScrufsGarage thanks bud, I don't get it, almost none of the steps hide those seem holes which for me is 90% of buying them, especially since I'm going with bigger tires and possibly 1" front level kit. I like my stock wheels (loaded sport S, gator green) so I think I'm either going with BFG all terrain in 34x10.50x17. 33.5" actual or something in 295/70/17. 33.3" actual. Pennsylvania doesn't play with tires outside the fenders.
@@ScrufsGarage hi I have a sport with same 3.73 and want to put on 35s. I am worried it might not be able to handle them. How have you liked running 35s with the 3.73??
No shaking to speak of, though with any off-road type tire, you can get a bit more vibration than just a highway tire. But nothing that you'd notice unless you were really looking for it. The Gladiator in general is louder/rougher than my 2010 F150 Lariat was. I love my Gladiator though.
It's very much a matter of personal preference on looks, and how you plan to use it. I've got a buddy who just bought a 2021 Gladiator Sport S. He and I were discussing and I think he's going to do a 3/4" spacer in the front to take out some of the rake, and then run 34" tire. I think that will look really good. Technically as you saw in the video, 35"s will fit even without a lift, but I think it looks better with a big more fender space. Also think about the impact that bigger tires have on performance and gas mileage. 35"s made a drastic change to my gas mileage. I did a video on that if you're interested. Let us know what you decide to go with!
Do you know if 35s would work on my 2021 Jeep Gladiator SPORT ONLY MODEL? I dont have the Max tow Package or anything. I just have the basic model. i dont plan on going off road. I just want the look on big tires and wheels. Id appreciate your feedback
A stock sport would have the same suspension height and fender clearance as my Overland model. So you would have the same clearance with 35"s as shown in this video. Note that my wheels have less offset than the factory wheels, so the tires are pushed out further. Stock wheels would sit further inside the fender, but might rub at steering lock. I also suggest checking out my video on the effect 35"s had on power and gas mileage. ruclips.net/video/G8hwocLfIMg/видео.html
Man thanks for your immediate response! I really do appreciate your time! i love the loooks on your Jeep by the way!!! heres another video i found here on youtube that im trying to do on my build ruclips.net/video/7D8DQlpzBTs/видео.html
For comparison, my wheels are 17x9.5 with a -6 offset. So the ones you mentioned with a -18 offset would stick out from the fender an extra 1/2". If you haven't already, definitely check out the Jeep Gladiator forum. Lots of info and pictures of other builds.
Thanks for the video, just what i was looking for.
Awesome, glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! This will help a bunch of people.

Great looking wheel. Im gonna get a set for myself.
I love the look of it without the lift
Yea, the larger tires and new wheels really transforms the look. I'm really happy with how the look turned out with the Rusty's 2" lift also.

Yes, you suspension should be like the Overland. The only difference would be if you had the "max tow" which had slightly different rear springs.

Clearly, not enough clearance if turning on rougher road
If that -6 I would not want to see a -12

Most people ask about 37s, not 35s. The answer is yes, 37s fit with no lift. 35s should have been factory size.
On a sport model or just the rubicon?
