@CycleCruza 💯 riders and other road users are the danger! Will it be worse when driverless cars are the norm?. I am loving the safety kit! Available to the UK?. Excellent video! Keep up the good work, and stay safe. 😍
I've been riding for a little over 2 years. I've ridden a few times with a friend. I much prefer riding by myself, doing my own thing, not feeling like I have to keep up or down with someone else. I just enjoy taking my time and enjoying the experience. I'm not out to win any races or prove myself to anyone else.
If you like doing high-speed stuff, find a lone road in the middle of nowhere, and get to know it well. Even better: find a few of those roads, and ride them randomly. Stay away from freeways and highways. You'll run into d-bags that will do dangerous sh!t, around you, just because you're on a motorcycle. Not to mention that you'll likely be in high traffic, and cops everywhere. As well, you might have someone with a dash-cam that catches you and your plate number and turns you in. STAY. AWAY. FROM. PEOPLE!
Personally I don't usually ride faster than I drive my car, which is usually under 60 mph. My favorite riding is exploring the countryside around 45-55 mph and finding the most scenic route. Sometimes I'll just randomly pull over in a safe spot, turn off the bike, and just take in the moment without distractions. That's why I love my Ninja 250, it's fun just exploring different areas of my city and chill ride. I like to be a bit of a rebel by briefly parking on sidewalks and other places cars can't go when I go into a store.
Thank you for bringing attention to this horrible tragedy. What a shame. I watched the actual footage and this poor woman had no chance - it just happened too quickly. I can't make out from the clip whether she lost control or was hit by another rider so I don't know where that info came from but she had less than half of a second to react and no room to maneuver. Rest in Peace Tatanya Ozolina. Ride safe out there!!
Not panicking is a skill developed over years and with experience. It takes practice to remain in the correct mindset during emergencies. Visualizing and always practicing escape lines and other emergency procedures is required. The type of people who panic can't just decide to not panic anymore.
I've been riding 8 years with my husband. who started riding around 15 yrs old . He always tells me the same thing. Think about how to react in different situations. Also , leave yourself an out and expect the unexpected. Get cleare of cars as soon as possible. I've been lucky to have someone with experience to start ridding motorcycles with. It's saved my ass a few times.
As a retired Paramedic and motorcycle enthusiast my entire life, Most fatal accidents occur when people are going over the speed limit. I agree with everything you’ve said and most of all slow down and be careful
Thank you for sharing your insight. It is great to hear from someone who has dealt with this first hand. So many people are quick to blame the motorcycle for being dangerous but not the rider. It is the rider that makes motorcycle dangerous, not the other way around.
@@CycleCruza I would love to agree with you and I do to a degree, how ever, when most people say that motorcycles are dangerous, they mean compared to cars, only way to can be 100% safe, is not going out, or get in traffic, but that is not pratical, so compared, bikes are much more dangerous, as you don`t sit inside a metal box with seatbelts and airbags, secondly, you can be a good rider and drive defensively and keep to the speed limit and still be hit by somebody who is`t
Yeah it seems like she was more focused on clicks and likes. So many people are like that these days in the social media age. People have fallen off cliffs trying to get that exciting selfie shot for instagram and facebook. Sad.
@@mrbasfed1948 I'm a motorcyclist who rode around while wearing proper safety gear and not 50% distracted by filming my content, I also wasn't killed in a motorcycle accident. Ridden on 3 continents and all sorts of terrain. Thumpers, p twins, v twins, boxers carbed and FI, up to sbk 1000cc i4. So yea, I kind of do, with emphasis not being distracted with my dumbass narcissism.
@@dogshmog , did you have the same accident and survived? She hit her head and had no other fractures except for her neck. She was wearing safety gear and the dash cam was fixed to her wind screen so she wasn't busy with making pictures or videos. You know nothing about her and you took the first information as a true.
If you are doing anything other than taking in scenery, BT, wifi radios, drone footage checking out booty especially on the edge and it's very windy you're overdue for a correction.
Tragic story. Seems like a combination of several things. First, her fellow rider didn't seem to take the situation seriously and put Moto Tanya in a dangerous situation. Second, this dangerous situation put her in to panic mode and that tends to lead to so many terrible scenarios. Great video on your part and thanks for sharing this important advice.
Been riding for 50yrs if I add my minibike days. In my 60's now still sportbike riding with a gen3 busa. I stopped riding with others decades ago. I've adopted the defensive mental mentality that motorist are out to kill me. I don't do provocative things to alienate motorist and always give myself an escape route if they pull out in front of me.
I 100% agree with you as I’m 62 & ride a GSX-R750 & ride exactly as you described, I also have a Harley Superglide. I do 3 or 4 track days a yr & get the need for speed out of my system there & I don’t ride like a jackass on the streets. I don’t do group rides & usually ride solo or with my son who has an R1, stay safe out there!
Yep,I also adopt the attitude that every vehicle is out to get me - 110% awareness of other vehicles. My biker cuz told me that when I was 16yrs old on L plates- I am now 59yrs old.cheers
I'm 64, been riding for 40 years and never broke a bone or wrote off a bike (Knocking on wood now)! I ride a Ducati and I ride briskly but also very defensively- You CAN be quick and still be SAFE! I also wear a top quality helmet and my Helite Turtle at ALL times!
From the info I've seen she wasn't gonna survive it. Grabbing the brake wasn't gonna change anything when the truck had no warning of what was bout to happen. And swerving offroad wasn't going to help as the guardrail was right there. If she lowsided the bike into the guardrail there's no telling if the truck would've been able to swerve to avoid her, hell she could've been run over by the truck. Highsiding over the guardrail still would've lead to fatal injuries, even with an airbag vest on if she landed on the crown of her head going into the ground. Then her best bet be paralyzed from the neck down. Sad fact is once she crossed into oncoming traffic her survival rate went to near zero. I had a friend have a similar accident, except the oncoming car crossed the double yellow in a blind corner and he swerved and couldn't recover from the rear stepping out and highsided off the bike over a guardrail to a 30 foot drop. Being on a remote mountain meant first responders even by helicopter were gonna be able to save him.
watching the aftermath on her bike it doesn't have significant damage on the front , is all on the rear, like a speeding idiot crashed her from behind,.... I really don't believe the testimony of the turkish rider
Sometimes you can eject yourself off the bike to avoid an impact with a car which has saved some riders. I just don't understand why many riders don't wear an airbag vest, it has saved many riders from death or a. wheel chair.
I've been ridding 8 yrs now and your safty tips and videos have helped me not to have any messed up day's. My husband has been riding a long time and he enjoys your videos also. Thank you
Big Ups CycleCruza for bringing this story to light. 🙏🙏 Such a tragic loss with Moto Tanya’s passing. This really highlights the importance of knowing the experience level of those we ride with. Group rides can be amazing, but they can also be risky if everyone isn’t on the same page. It’s crucial to assess the situation and decide if it’s safer to ride alone or with others. Ride safe, everyone. RIP Moto Tanya🙏😇☝️🙏
They'll learn the hard way like my buddy did. He went down with a muscle t-shirt and shorts and dealt with horrible road rash, he said it was like being lit on fire when he took a shower. After that accident he always wore proper gear.
That has taken so many people out these days. Social media is the downfall of society. Everybody and their mama are looking to make a great selfie moment, every waking moment in life is an opportunity for a great selfie. 🤣 Sad. I wish I could click my heels and go back to the 90's, pre-social media.
Group rides are like backing up a trailer, it requires people to be "on the same wave length". I only ride with people who understand my riding and i understand theirs. Sometimes one of the crew might be in an off mood. No ride. Or we say today isnt working.
You never know what you would do until you’re in that predicament 😅 All I know is the streets are never the place to fool around no matter what form of transportation you are driving ✌🏻
So True, I had see a lot of accidents in motorcycle groups, because of a crazy rider. That’s why I’m myself a lonely rider or up to with an another rider that I really knows well about his behavior and experience in the field.
So sad about Moto Tanya. I had a similar experience,. My riding buddy and I were racing and he cut across the front of me, clipping my front wheel. Threw my bike and me end over end and fortunately for me there was no traffic.
It was three of them that were riding, she was in front, the second guy a Turkish blogger and the third Tanya friend. The Turkish rider didn't notice Tanya was slowing down and slammed into her from the back and she slammed into the guard rail, there was no truck involved.
Every motorcyclist should take the MSF class, continually study regarding safety, be defensive by scanning for potential danger and thinking ahead. Avoid hitting stationary objects and objects travelling in one's direction. Use quality safety gear.
While that armored "jacket" will offer some impact protection, most are not intended for use without an actual jacket due to the lack of proper abrasion resistance. I have personally seen the Fox Racing version shred without a jacket over it. The mesh just cant handle the abrasion forces acting on it under usual highway speeds.
I went down at 40 mph on an e-scooter with my ce armor jacket and walked away without a scratch. The armor slides, my CE armor jacket is still good and mine isn;t even a name brand armor jacket. I didn't have on my airbag vest on with the e-scooter.
@@CycleCruza surely you are not implying the forces are similar between a 40 mph fall off an e-scooter and a crash on a motorcycle at 70+ mph. I used to ride with mine like that too, until I crashed and ripped the mesh sleeve and elbow pad strap. That is when I started doing the research and discovered it was not intended to be worn by itself. Even the manufacturers recommend using these under an actual motorcycle jacket due to lack of abrasion resistance. Hopefully you never see an instance where I am proven correct on the topic. Just seems careless to use this platform to promote improper use of safety equipment.
Wear a helmet at least if not full gear would be better. I fainted while riding one day and hit the rear end of a car. My helmet saved my life! Since I had a medical issue I no longer ride cause it could happen again. Sold my bikes but had my fun while it lasted.
yeah helmet does most of the work for saving you on most small lapse of judgement and error situations. like you can legit just die from falling over going 0 mph without a helmet on a regular riding height bike.
@@lasskinn474 I once read a story about two guys, sitting on their bikes in a driveway and drinking, when one fell off, hit his head on the concrete and died. That was right before I bought my first bike and I thought he should have had his helmet on.
1:16 Bike are not dangerous its the person attitude on the bike, just like guns don't kill people, its the person with the gun. I've ride bikes and actually 80% of the time do not wear proper gear i.e. shirt, shorts, tank top, improper shoes etc.... i know the risk but do not ride reckless....and I conceal carry and never shot anyone.... haven't felt the need for self-defense use yet
Bro not entirely correct, what ppl mean is that the mistake you make as a rider will cost your life unlike the same mistake as a driver will just cost you $200-300... whatever rider you are just riding increases your risk factor massively
I was on my bike one time and a car started drifting in my lane. He was somewhat down the road but not far enough where I could just stop. There was also no shoulder to get off on. He kept drifting and I honestly did not know what to do. If I went into his lane, I would have either been hit by him correcting back the other way or by another car. So essentially, I slowed down and stayed in my lane. Thankfully the other driver self corrected back into their lane and everything was fine.
Very sad to hear of her death. Great advice from Cruzer. I never ride in groups after a bad experience the first time I did it, a few years ago. Too many crazy riders out there. I always ride alone.
You talk a lot of sense! I like riding by myself. There are way too many hot dogs out there. I’ve been riding for 40 plus years. Dirt bikes to street . You’re talking a lot sense. I’ve seen some bad accidents with bikes happen and all of them are because of the rider. You keep up the great advice. That’s why I subscribe!
I drive about 75K a year for work, this has changed the way I ride beyond belief. I see the results of not respecting the rules of the road far too much. On a bike, the odds are stacked against you in an accident. No seatbelt, no crumple zones. Nothing between you and the asphalt or the guardrail posts or the next vehicle but air. The risks are too great when you throw the average driver on the road into the mix.
Self preservation can kick in but Its really important to override the deer in the headlights that freezes you. You need to get angry or calm and look away from that danger to try and evade it. Moto tanya unfortunately was a victim to that deer freeze response.
I was 18, when I have my first motorcycle (Simson S51 Enduro). To my 23 years I rided with my friends (they had Japanese Four stroke, I was had MZ ETZ 150 and after Honda CX500 C). In my 25 years, I bought Suzuki GSXR 600 SRAD 1999, and after KZ 650 B1, GL1100 Goldwing, ZXR750 H1 89, I ride only myself, and its best thing, what I love it. Now I have old Royal Enfield Bullet 500, and Triumph T140V Bonneville 1978, and nobody ride with me, because "I am brake on traffic". I love ride alone with nobody. Motorcycle today is only lifestyle, but for me, isnt only lifestyle. Its more.
I had no idea she died! That's freaking crazy! I used to follow her on insta, I think I might've unfollowed her at some point awhile ago, I don't remember. But that's terrible to hear, man. I wish all the best for friends and family. :(
Here in Ohio, to pass the riding test at the DMV you have brake and swerve, most riders fail this portion of the test. It was just me and another rider who passed the test at the DMV that day I tested way back, all other riders failed the brake and swerve test and that is a skill every rider should have.
@@CycleCruza in Texas you need the rider class PASS paper to get the endorsement, the class IS the test, unless you are grandfathered in. And if your license expires you're screwed, you have to retake the course
I love you man, and I use your quote, "Effed up day", to anyone acting a fool or not knowing better on the street. Expect the unexpected, don't be in that position, can I afford this consequence. Been looking for a new jacket and I think I'll give your torso armor a try. Fully agree with this video, let's all avoid a fucked up day. I'm glad you brought up the MSF with braking/swerving, and vice versa. I almost had a close call downhill and the act of practicing the swerve then brake saved my ass. You never know when a car might decide to turn right, hell, if their blinkers work. A lot of cars don't see us coming, but we as riders should be looking at a car lowering speed, angling front tires, etc. It's all for safety. You're my go to for new riders I meet. As far as her situation, idk. I'm on a super light bike, I feel I could have made it back over, but there was a lot of panic there. I think it might have been complacency, especially with another rider causing some disrupt. It kinda scares me riding on the track, even if I reinform myself this behavior should stay on the track, maybe it bleeds over while I'm riding on the street, and I just don't expect a huge truck. I think it's a lot of mental discipline, but you pick your wars.
I had a brain bleed from a small drop Offroad and I didn’t know it until 3 weeks later when I started having severe headaches and went to ER I don’t even remember hitting my head. I wore all the gear possible and a good helmet. If something small can give you a fckup day imagine a higher speed on asphalt.
you can't control the others. just word for advice for riding in thailand, sure it could be the other persons fault but that doesn't mean the other person isn't going to run the red lights. slow down. also people over here will take off ""early"" when lights change, and sometimes they change the order at an intersection, so they just run to middle and some other side gets the green light, effin annoying and it would be their fault if plunged into them BUT it being the other persons fault isn't going to bring you back, so you have to look for yourself if they're coming or not(or an ambulance, pedestrian or whatever)
i normally ride in the back of the groub i have been riding for long time only when the fun corners come i go past but normally i am in the back and i like that i can be safe this way
Subbed you brother! i'm living on the isle of man 🇮🇲 i see some narly crashes here specially when the TT is on the public are able to race the course, always ends bad! 3-7 public die every year!! what your saying regarding wearing gear is paramount sir! i've had a bad one myself,it hurts bad, also losing a sibling and 6 buddies here,i cannot emphasize the wearing of good protection, i have big bikes in my garage x3 but i only go out on the grom now,age 60 but the fun factor is still there ! wear the gear end of ! awesome channel by the way dude a big hello from the isle of man 🇮🇲🙌🏼🏍️
The number one reason why i don't ride with many groups whenever is see them riding side by side instead of riding staggered. Never ride side by side cause it is very limited by way of space for both riders.
I'm in NYC and have only witnessed two men using the staggered method in the last 10 years. It was a sight that stood out for me, because when I was a kid, that was one of the first lessons taught to new riders. Back then, another lesson was not to ride the center of your lane, because that's where all the fluid leaks from broken oil pans in cars/trucks ended up, causing a potential for losing traction. In all fairness, you could actually see all the oil leaks in the center of the lane back then. Not so much nowadays.
The moment you decide that public streets are the place for you to learn, hone, enjoy high speed motorbiking, is the moment you also decide that your life and the lives of others around you is worth less than the thrill of riding on the very edge of and even beyond your skills and abilities, in an environment that is froth with variability, you personally can not control. Racing in Moto GP, your on a closed course, with other riders, going the same direction, without the variability of other traffic, or influences (animals etc.) entering the equation. If you crash there (and you likely will), there is a far greater chance of survival. ... Tanya knew the Risk, but allowed the thrill to outweigh that risk, forcing another human (truck driver) to live with the continued nightmare of her tragic demise. I'm sure the truck driver, if given the choice, would have chosen not to play a part in that incident, but Tanya did not provide the truck driver that choice. ... This is the very irresponsible act any Sport Bike rider, who decides the public streets are their personal race track, places upon the remainder of innocent humans around them, forcing them to become unwilling actors, in the riders march toward most certain injury or death, as well as property destruction. .... Such riding stands squarely against our "Duty of Care" for our fellow man. I personally don't feel sorry for Tanya one bit, she knew the risks, my concern is for the Truck Driver, that person is the innocent, unwilling participant, Tanya dragged into her unreasonable high speed, world, seeking out the need for her next Adrenaline fix. .... I get it, riding a bike is fun, its a thrill, its a rush, when you blast through turn after turn, nearly scraping the pavement, while escaping death. If your going to ride your bike to that extreme, at least find a roadway that has little to no traffic. Trailer your bike there and go ride hard, even to the extreme. But... Don't involve other innocent humans in your endeavor, doing such is unacceptable, and inexcusable.
RIP moto Tanya…… I never knew about her until she died. Not keen on insta people/ influencers whatever but it’s sad when any biker or pretty lady dies or seriously injured
I went on my first group ride with only two other riders .... was fine I was the youngster at 37 riding with two older boys in their late 50s early 60s all of us on big Harly Cruisers . Was okay but I'd rather ride alone i found . Mainly because I did want to ride faster than the other two but I was in the middle. Single file . The one I knew from work admitted likes to open her up and fly a little too but not with his wife riding on his back like that ride because she doesn't like that. I understand that.
Most accidents can be avoided with the right training and riding skills. Two exceptions might be animal strikes and the unexpected, non-intersection, lane cross overs right in front of you-no time to react in both of those situations. When I watch the various youtube videos of rider "accidents" its easy to predict what is coming before it happens based on the (lack of) rider skill. With proper on-road skills development one can reduce risk substantially. After 5 decades of watching riders on the road I'm thinking 80%-90% have very low skill ability and by divine providence they survive.
He had to be passing her close in her lane. I've had that happen with riders that I didn't know. Dangerous shit to do to another rider unexpectedly. I see it all the time .🤬 actually, I seen a car do that to a bike on the freeway he passed the dude on the shoulder .
It's very important to ride defensely. For me a safe ride is a good ride. So please practice your skills. Be careful be safe. That's how you will how fun riding is.
More riders should consider Super Motos. They handle a lot better on streets than street bikes ironically. Especially with the many bad city streets we have.
I drive a Yamaha R3 and I don‘t really like to drive fast. I love to cruise with 90-100kmh. When I drive with people I drive with my friend with a Piaggio MP3 and Honda SH 150
I think some of the very well known professional riders have it in their contract they can’t ride on public roads. Watched a ton of her videos, she’s a great rider, except she’s become complacent with the crazy two lane highways in those countries and you’re right, she was too trusting in other people and their riding skills.
There are bold bikers and there are old bikers but there are no old bold bikers. I would like to say that sharing your skills with less experienced riders is important.
She was riding with a Turkish influencer. I read in another video that he stood on his wheel and clipped her. It also said all the camera's disappeared.
When I ride with new guys and go canyon riding, I tell them all, go at your comfortable speed, don’t keep up with me, I’m not saying I’m an expert but I’ve been riding since I was 18 and I’m 41 now, my experts level compared them is way different, I refuse to ride with stunt riders, I’m risking my life as it is. Don’t need to add another element to risk for no reason…. I’ve been down 1 time in my years of riding, must be doing something right, be safe peeps
How to avoid a motorcycle death: -Don't ride in groups -Don't ride to look cool; just BE cool -Don't get a sport motorcycle -Know how to govern and regulate your own choices
Cylcecruza is right though you gotta be careful who you ride with. I’ve ridden in plenty of groups small and big. I choose the back in big meet ups because there has always been at least one incident where two bikers run into each other. And in small groups we are either linked up with our sennas or I actually tell the new person not to get on my ass and ride staggered because when I throttle down they are going to have to break hard most of the time. You have to tell people it’s not common sense to new riders who are concerned with keeping up. Also ladies out there if your fast dial it back when you ad a new boy to the group they can’t help but push it to show off. My girl friend always had guys going down in the canyons trying to keep up with her. One guy lost part of his ass cheek from the slide!
I ride alone. I ride early in the mornings and I stay mostly on the highways. Most accidents are at intersections or involve or cars or bikers. Eliminating those threats right from the start.
I 100% agree with you be careful who you ride with and absolutely the bike is only as good as the rider playing around on the streets with a bike dangerous you wanna play around go to an open parking lot can’t play around like that at the track you get kicked out
Turkish motorcycle blogger Onur Obut, riding behind Tatyana, stood on the front wheel and flew into the rear wheel of MotoTani. Video cameras from motorcycles disappeared from the scene... He is in court for her regarding death. This comment was on Hulu Puli you tube.
i honestly can't stand riding with other people, especially those big group rides. i have good friend, we both have the same bike, 05 CBR600RR , we both learned how to ride at the same time and he's the only one I'll really ride with. any other time, and the vast majority of the time I'm on my own. i rode with another buddy and he was always rolling up on my rear wheel and $hit...i actually had to pull over and give em hell, stay the fk away from my assend lol. riding alone i can go where i want, stop when i want... change my mind and go whenever i want. it's always a bit stressful riding with another person i find. i won't even bother with those big random idiot group rides lol
I always think of how I'm gonna dodge something on my bike but every single time its happened and I need to...I could not get my bike to turn. I panick, get target fixation and cant move the bike. Luckily they weren't serious incidents but enough to know I have things to work on. I can plan in my head all day and be ready but your body does not know none of that when you panic. I can't even tell you how I'd handle getting clipped, I've been riding three years, ridden three different bikes, I prob have about 500 hours and even more miles as its my daily but I still probably would have died. Don't confident about an event that has never happened to you. Best thing you can do is take everything as slow and methodical as possible so when something does happen, your not going a buck thirty down a long stretch of road when you have your first experiences, I say that as plural cuz no two wrecks are the same and one experience is the bare minimum to be considered experience. Your brain literally needs time to process stuff and its even slower when your thrust into a moment, you rob yourself of that time by being risky. Ride safe or you wont be able to ride at all.
1. MSF course doesn't give you the skills, it teaches you what to practice. 2. Ride with anybody you want...but at a safe distance as you would any other vehicle. And if you don't trust them, be the follower.
I’ve been riding sport bikes for 44 years; I haven’t done group rides in about 40. Why? LOW SKILLED RIDERS. Most couldn’t pass a Figure 8 and cone course on their current rides, much less finesse the freeway at speed.
True, but real talk, we still know motos are incrementally more risky. A skilled rider and a skilled driver are likely to have different outcomes if things go completely pear-shaped/outside of their control. Just something for riders to accept with eyes open. We can reduce/manage our risk but never eliminate it.

“ The bike is only as good as the rider’s skill” Well said sir!!
Yep, I get tired of hearing that ignorant statement that motorcycles are dangerous. No, it is the riders that are dangerous!
💯
@CycleCruza 💯 riders and other road users are the danger!
Will it be worse when driverless cars are the norm?.
I am loving the safety kit! Available to the UK?.
Excellent video! Keep up the good work, and stay safe. 😍
💯
Motorcycles are inherently dangerous. The rider's skills and precautions he takes mitigate the danger.
I ride with a buddy and enjoy it, but...like you, I thoroughly enjoy riding on my own. For the reasons you mention.
I’m exactly the same
Same here. I don't like being followed or anybody following me. I just never took to riding with others but to each his/her own. Just not my thing.
Me too the same. Been riding for 25-30 years. Never down, praise God.
I like to be a bit of a rebel by briefly parking on sidewalks and other places cars can't go when I go into a store.
what's a common misconception is that a bike would be better for going fast than a car - it's not. it's a lot CHEAPER for going fast.
@@lasskinn474 exactly, I'd feel safer going fast in a Corvette than a bike, a car is a lot more stable.
So you're the slow driver lol
I love exploring the countryside as well. Most of my videos are out in the country. The small bikes are great, especially supermotos.
You never get the feeling you want to open her up and get that speedy buzz? Open road, no traffic and you want to do 55mph.... ?
Thank you for bringing attention to this horrible tragedy. What a shame. I watched the actual footage and this poor woman had no chance - it just happened too quickly. I can't make out from the clip whether she lost control or was hit by another rider so I don't know where that info came from but she had less than half of a second to react and no room to maneuver.
Rest in Peace Tatanya Ozolina.
Ride safe out there!!
Yeah there was little time to react and most riders freeze up. It was her time to go, tomorrow is not promised to any of us. R.I.P Moto Tanya
Speed your enemy
Bro.! Donde visite las imágenes reales?
Not panicking is a skill developed over years and with experience. It takes practice to remain in the correct mindset during emergencies. Visualizing and always practicing escape lines and other emergency procedures is required. The type of people who panic can't just decide to not panic anymore.
100 mate I see escape routes on 50 percent if crashes I see on sm,
💯 👍
I've been riding 8 years with my husband. who started riding around 15 yrs old . He always tells me the same thing. Think about how to react in different situations. Also , leave yourself an out and expect the unexpected. Get cleare of cars as soon as possible. I've been lucky to have someone with experience to start ridding motorcycles with. It's saved my ass a few times.
💯! Visualizing is so important and riders I know rarely talk about it or consider how effective this skill is.
Disagree. Speed is not the problem, speed plus dangerous surroundings or lack of skill is a big problem.
@@Uriel-Septim. A car on car collision is fatal 99 percent of the time
@@catsbyondrepair That do not sounds right, are you lying ?
I love how you always emphasize safety equipment and rider visibility. Keep on keeping on brother.
Thanks for viewing! Stay safe brother!
The problem was that she was more influencer and less motorcyclist.
Yeah it seems like she was more focused on clicks and likes. So many people are like that these days in the social media age. People have fallen off cliffs trying to get that exciting selfie shot for instagram and facebook. Sad.
That's why she rode 120 000 km in 10 years with 1600-1800 km made in 24 hours. You certainly know it better.
She sacrificed her life for social media
That is the problem these days. Too many people trying get that great shot or video to go viral that they risk their life.
I wonder how many thirsty simps sent her money? ....A girl gets thousand$ in donations just for being pretty & riding a motorcycle.
Why even live, if you are nobody these days
@@Automatic313Very nihilistic
@@Automatic313are you serious? Who gives a fuck what other people think! Wake up!
Good advice! The public roads aren't proving grounds or playgrounds.
And that's how you've been riding for 50 years! Amazing! You are a wise rider. Great to see. Continue to stay safe and enjoy the ride!
Great to hear! Keep riding and stay safe brother!
Thank you
Great to see you've been staying safe and a long time viewer. I appreciate it. All the best to you and your husband. I appreciate both of you.
Big Ups CycleCruza for bringing this story to light. 🙏🙏
Such a tragic loss with Moto Tanya’s passing.
I don't have a bike anymore but I've been following you for years, still enjoying the content. Stay safe out there, great advice all around.
Thanks for being a long time viewer. I appreciate it. Why did you get rid of your bike tho?
Thank you for mentioning Tanya. Its very nice. After this terrible accident, she became like my own, I will never forget her, I will always remember her
I rode for 30 years and had no accidents. And I didn’t mess around either. Defensive riding folks, it is key.
💯👍
Times I see riders in wrong gear cut off jeans , sneakers , flip flops no gloves , it only takes one slide down the road !
They'll learn the hard way like my buddy did. He went down with a muscle t-shirt and shorts and dealt with horrible road rash, he said it was like being lit on fire when he took a shower. After that accident he always wore proper gear.
All is good until something happens... Everybody is betting on "It won't happen to me this time"
The clout demons got her
That has taken so many people out these days. Social media is the downfall of society. Everybody and their mama are looking to make a great selfie moment, every waking moment in life is an opportunity for a great selfie. 🤣 Sad. I wish I could click my heels and go back to the 90's, pre-social media.
@@CycleCruza Man you not wrong! 90s was the last of everything good, things will never be the same
@@CycleCruzasocial Media has lifted so many out of poverty
Group rides are like backing up a trailer, it requires people to be "on the same wave length". I only ride with people who understand my riding and i understand theirs. Sometimes one of the crew might be in an off mood. No ride. Or we say today isnt working.
The best why to avoid a crash like what happened to her is to ride solo or not ride with strangers as you don't know there riding styles or habits.
💯
You never know what you would do until you’re in that predicament 😅
All I know is the streets are never the place to fool around no matter what form of transportation you are driving ✌🏻
True that!
Terrible tragedy! I always prefer riding alone, everything happens at my speed, nobody else determines that
So true, sad to hear about her accident. People have a lack of skill and respect for the bikes. 💯
So True, I had see a lot of accidents in motorcycle groups, because of a crazy rider. That’s why I’m myself a lonely rider or up to with an another rider that I really knows well about his behavior and experience in the field.
Yea let’s have another moto vlogger give their opinion on safe riding as he rides completely distracted talking about safety.
The road is not the place to chase clout.
Seems like she was too concerned about thirst trapping and clout instead of being focused on safety and dialing her skills in... SMH.
Yep, that is happening more and more these days with social media clout chasers.
She might’ve chopped the throttle/no brake light, but engine braking.
@@jimstenlund6017 possible, that's why one should have 100% concentration while riding.
Sorry to hear but glad you made it out ok!
yeah helmet does most of the work for saving you on most small lapse of judgement and error situations. like you can legit just die from falling over going 0 mph without a helmet on a regular riding height bike.
@@lasskinn474 I once read a story about two guys, sitting on their bikes in a driveway and drinking, when one fell off, hit his head on the concrete and died. That was right before I bought my first bike and I thought he should have had his helmet on.
She had a helmet, but falling off the bike, her helmet went out.
Rule #1: Never ever ride beyond your own ability.
Rule #2: Never ride beyond the capability of the bike.
I learned that no matter how good you are, it is never enough. Often that means I ride more cautious as I should be, though.
At least once a month where I live there’s some young person, late teens to mid 20’s get killed riding a liter bike as their first bike
That article about 7 dead in NH that was 7 vets on a big ride for service vets tragic day again sombody pulled out
Yep, I posted the wrong incident for when I was referring to a tragic group ride. However, that NH incident was terrible.
Unfortunately, ome riders have to learn the hard way.
People get on the road and all they know is throttle brake steering
Here in Ohio, to pass the riding test at the DMV you have brake and swerve, most riders fail this portion of the test.

I was side swiped by a city bus that ran a red light. Effed me up I ended up in on coming traffic and it was a miracle I didn't get hit.
Thank goodness you were okay!!
That must have been terrifying 😳
I had a similar accident, why he's actually blaming her is mad, I had to get chest compressions to bring me back around, other drivers fault
you can't control the others. just word for advice for riding in thailand, sure it could be the other persons fault but that doesn't mean the other person isn't going to run the red lights. slow down. also people over here will take off ""early"" when lights change, and sometimes they change the order at an intersection, so they just run to middle and some other side gets the green light, effin annoying and it would be their fault if plunged into them BUT it being the other persons fault isn't going to bring you back, so you have to look for yourself if they're coming or not(or an ambulance, pedestrian or whatever)
You were extremely lucky. I hope you got paid from the city?
There's too many bikers on Tik Tok acting the fool for views. The women are the worst for it.
💯
A great video and I must admit I also do not like riding with anyone else as they can be so unpredictable. RIP to Tanya.
Good to see u back on the SMCr
i normally ride in the back of the groub i have been riding for long time only when the fun corners come i go past but normally i am in the back and i like that i can be safe this way
You can do the most reckless things in life without consequence, but it is when DEATH comes to collect at your most vulnerable moment.
Am a biker and you should keep both hands on bars,😅

The number one reason why i don't ride with many groups whenever is see them riding side by side instead of riding staggered.
Never ride side by side cause it is very limited by way of space for both riders.
Ya, I quit doing group rides because of crap like a rider dropping their phone then slamming on their brakes with riders 3 feet behind them.
Great video! Great information!! Thanks!!!

Alot more people get killed in cars,I ride certain times never rush hr,I stay in country by myself
It's almost as if a lot more people drive cars
That is because more people drive cars. However, most motorcycle riders get killed because of lack of skill and/or don't wear gear.
@CycleCruza I understand that but after a car wreck people still get back in a car again
Yup! That's why I always say these streets are just for cruising. However, some riders have to learn the hard way.
Some things just can't be prevented. An accident is an accident.

How to avoid a motorcycle death:
-Don't ride in groups
-Don't ride to look cool; just BE cool
-Don't get a sport motorcycle
-Know how to govern and regulate your own choices
Rip to the rider though always sad to loose a fellow rider regardless the circumstances

I ride alone. I ride early in the mornings and I stay mostly on the highways. Most accidents are at intersections or involve or cars or bikers. Eliminating those threats right from the start.
As long as there are dangers on the road, you will never be good enough. There is always more to learn and skills to be revised and improved upon.
Hitting a pothole could set you up for a f##ked up day.
Never let a noob ride in the back. The best riders ride in the back. Let the beginners up front.
i honestly can't stand riding with other people, especially those big group rides. i have good friend, we both have the same bike, 05 CBR600RR , we both learned how to ride at the same time and he's the only one I'll really ride with. any other time, and the vast majority of the time I'm on my own. i rode with another buddy and he was always rolling up on my rear wheel and $hit...i actually had to pull over and give em hell, stay the fk away from my assend lol. riding alone i can go where i want, stop when i want... change my mind and go whenever i want. it's always a bit stressful riding with another person i find. i won't even bother with those big random idiot group rides lol
It wasn't her falt poor girl her partner did a big mistake. Ride in heaven beautiful never will be forgotten allways missed ❤️👸🏻❤️💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Know who you are riding with. So true.
