hey how are you doing sir? question on the walk around inspection do you have to point out everything and say the name of each part on the truck are.or just know what the basic. r when doing inspection with your trainer? thanks
I always test all the mixer controls to be sure they are working ok, rear discharge mixer, also check the bridgemaster as well and it’s tires. Newer computerized truck and mixer, again this is on a rear discharge mixer, this video is a front discharge it looks like.
Great video man. What does a new driver do if you report serious defects (like real loose steerin) and the mechanic shrugs his shoulders and says... "It,s old dude... deal with it attitude" ?
That's unacceptable. Just make sure you are writing it up everyday. Take note when mechanics say that nonsense. Then the day you refuse to drive something may be done
Mine was like that all over the road, shop had it for a week , replaced everything but what it needed. when I got it back it was still shit. Our yard mechanic found the problem the u joint from the steering box was shot. Much tighter after that...... Justin needs a raise......
He said it was cold there, he was still in a t shirt, we have been bundled up in coveralls and winter coats for a week, daytime temps in 30s wind chills in teens.
hey how are you doing sir...I'm about to go to orientation for ready mix company is there any thing I need to know about or steady for just trying to get some heads up and make sure I'm ready for it..any info I'm sure would be helpful sir ...thank you in advance sir...
I have other videos. they are a little corny but full of info. watch the slump video and the pouring situation video. I tell my trainees to watch them as often as needed to get a grip on what to do.
Nicely done. Don't forget to check front and rear pedestal bolts.
@4:40 Thank you...nothing like ordering 9cy for curb and gutter and having it delivered like rock soup.
This man is on point.
Thanks for this video very helpful thanks for sharing your knowledge !!
Your mixer is badass
I'm just trying to get some heads up and steady if need be...thanks
Isn't hitting the sidewall going to cause a bulge in it? I was taught to hit the tread to listen for tone

What happens to your “pouring situations” video?
I drive a 19 yo Oshkosh... how much exactly us too much play in the steering wheel while driving down the road ?
Don't you log in before your pre-trip?
sometimes I do, it just depends on how soon i need to get on the clock when i get there
Our company uses time clock, clock in when arrive at plant, usually log in when in service with pre trip done, and ready to haul a load.

This will all be over soon. You will get there before you know it!!!!!
Don't you have to check your air brakes and pressure pre trip as well? Not being a smart ass, just asking because I'm studying.
Yes you do have to check your bleed down of air pressure.
