Such beautiful souls, both the old and young. They are gods being and just looking a them makes me feel at peace. Thank you so much for your video it is always a pleasure looking at one.
Thanks. I have worked with tibetan/himalayan nuns. Truly amazing women that the world needs. And yes they receive significantly (inconceivably) less help than the boys/ men. Please help this project if you can. xo
@@TibetanNunsProject Thank you! That is really amazing. Most amazing to me is that three nuns from modern Dharamshala have moved out there to remote Zangkar to help out. Respect!
We didn't have a recording of the Dorjee Zong nuns chanting. The music in this video is a recording of the nuns at Sherab Choeling Nunnery in the Spiti Valley of northern India, also in the Himalayas, praying for the benefit of all sentient beings. Here's the link to the Soundcloud recording: soundcloud.com/user-243787775/sherab-choeling-nuns-pray-for-all-sentient-beings Sherab Choeling is another nunnery supported by the Tibetan Nuns Project. You can learn more about that nunnery here: tnp.org/nuns/sherabchoeling/
Please answer this question: Do Tibetan Buddhist nuns get full ordination in Gelugpa tradition? If they do not, I am discarding my Lama Tsongkhapa statue.

Now monks and nuns have to learn Chinese , pls don’t look at it in a bad light but as an opportunity to spread the dharma to main land Chinese in the Chinese language

I didn’t know there were nunneries still in use in the Himalayas for 700 years. Amazing!
Here's a bit more about the nunnery in case you're interested: tnp.org/dorjee-zong/
