Another mode of transportation sa mga long distances is actually plane. You might think na mahal but Japan also has budget airlines like PeachAir and VanillaAir. Depende kung kelan ang biyahe mo, it can be half of the price of shinkansen. I remember flying from Narita to Osaka for less than 5000 YEN. That's almost 1/3 the price of Shinkansen and half of travelling by bus. Less than 2hrs lang ang byahe minus the getting to and from the airport.

Hello po good evening, I am planning to go to Japan this Autumn, baka po may poor travelers guy guide para po sa Autumn, or guide po papuntang sa Haneda, thank you 🙏
Hi po! I would really appreciate if you can give me an advice regarding train passes and how I can save money. Me and my family will be in Japan for 10 days, 5 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Kyoto, 2 days in Osaka and 1 day in Nara and planning to return to Phil via Kansai. I was thinking to just buy one way Shinkansen train from Tokyo to Osaka and just regional pass in Osaka (but which one is the best). Also, if I'm only buying one way Shinkansen train from Tokyo you can only buy it when you're in Japan or can you buy in advance. Thanks very much and hoping for your reply.
Buying individual tickets rather than a 7-days JR pass will probably just break even since you are not backtracking to Tokyo. (Kyoto>Nara>Osaka could be on local trains.)
@@nateshf9303 Thanks so much. Can I buy just the one way Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka in the JR website or you buy it only in the train station in Japan?. Many Thanks

Not sure if this is true for everyone pero di na ako hiningan ng receipts sa airport for my tax free purchases. I think kapag mga luxury items lang ganon, not sure tho. Pinascan lang yung passport ko and that was it.
There is a special counter after Customs, (it's a single table where no one is noticing). You have to go there and present all the receipts to get a rebate. They'll send a check later.
Salamat
Sir ung sa resibo ng tax free shopping to they check the actual item then ibabanga nila sa resibo? Parang may nabasa or napanood ako dapat di daw muna gamitin ung mga nabili sa Japan na tax free, pwede lng gamitin pag nakalabas na ng Japan. Tama po ba yon?
i used to work at hotel and almost filipino (and foreigners) don't understand the fee and the size of the bed in the hotel😅 Fee′s is per head not per rooms, and single room is one bedroom for 1 person. double room is one semi double size bedroom for 1 to 2 person, twin room is 2bedroom for 2 to maybe 3person. Most kids below 12years old are free.
good video but I have a big issue with the passport - tax point. you should inform the viewer that as a tourist you have to have your passport on you at all times. it is literally the requirement of the government when they let you in. and the tax free shopping is not only for when you spend more than 5000 yen, the requirement is for you to take the item home. so its ment for gifts and consumable that are being taken home, therefore the VAT can be waived. you can not go and buy, for example food or whiskey for a week and then consume that.
