Thanks for the tour. It's been 30 + years ago i made the decision as a young man to leave sav. I have been back over the years for funerals, weddings, and vacations. So many great memories. It would be great to see negril in this manner, thank you.
Good to see another part of western Jamaica the view is magnificient but one thing though you have to be very careful when driving or crossing the roads
Watching this video is making so homesick😭😩 I've never been to Savanna La Mar, I think I'm going to visit next time I'm home.... @Fire Reid It would be great if you could drive round any hotels or B&Bs in the area. Blessings!
Thanks for brining me back to sav-la-mar, otherwise known as Sav. I enjoyed the trip from Petersfield. The next time you go to negril can you do a diversion at negril spot and drive through the communities of Hopewell, Retirement, Orange Hill and Mount Airey and then back into negril? Or even a trip from Sav to grange hill? Mark Lindsay watching from cold London.
People think leaving Jamaica will ensure they have a better life, I don't think it necessarily so. I think it all depends on what you want. To me to live of the land is far better than living in the rat races of the UK USA or Canada (the 3 countries most Jamaicans emigrate to). I currently live in the UK but would far rather be back home.
Depends on what you call a better life. Unless you are a millionaire or billionaire. Living in another country working your guts out and paying bills bills bills and racism. Having anyone telling you to go back to your country. Jamaica is beautiful it's people who make it bad with killing each other, robbing and raping. yes it happens in every country but there, there's no law. Jamaica the lawless country where you can get away with murder. if it wasn't the way it it hundreds would have return. Even so if you are not involved in anything and you are living comfortable. You have food to eat, place to sleep and be happy stay where you are
@@specialforces4939 is dat people fi know and appreciate our beautiful Island.... Why you think outsiders still want to go to Jamaica.... Dem kyow di jewel weh we have!
Please try and find Grove in Sav, it's a nice hidden little area with some nice houses, it's called Grove or Grove Gardens, I would love to see it.
