I so wish this map would come to Snowrunner. A rebuild/recover/liquidation mission theme would be perfect, there could be a special feature to craft lead shielding for your truck to protect against radiation, and the whole lonely, empty, eerie environment is pretty consistent with Snowrunner's general atmosphere.
Never really cared about the original since MudRunner came out. But right now, it's got a massive sale on Steam, so... yeah, why not.

I'm still playing the original Spin Tires myself on a regular basis, and it sure is nice to see then put out another map. Speaking of which this new map gives me that S.T.A.L.K.E.R feeling. Even has an achievement added in that wants you to find the fang of Chernobyl. Which I'm actually wondering what that is..Since its the only achievement I have not completed on the Chernobyl map.
I think they should have added the option to install lead armor on trucks to protect you from radiation and as a counter to it it consumes more fuel and it makes the truck very heavy

I studied Chernobyl for quite a while and it really fits the whole vibe. Gotta give props to the devs.
Edit: The apartments everywhere are pretty accurate as well.

Different developers, oovee (original spintires devs) tricked some people so mudrunner was created by the old creators

Yes absolutely. Some say it's a bit more realistic actually. I see it as the Original Russian version. Since it is about the logging trucks in Russia and has a crane or log picker upper in it as well. But dude, for $10 I think it's the best deal on Steam for paying sims.

Mudrunner is shit
I have followed Spintires since almost day 1, Its an awesome game, with lots of updates and DLC being released for it again. There was some legal issues for a while there over the last year or two which slowed down the development of the game, but now all has been resolved and the game is back on track (no pun intended) to be better than ever. The creators and developers at Oovee have out done themselves with the latest updates and DLC, that the game is currently out doing Mudrunner with game sales and players currently playing via steam.

interactive bought the rights to spintires so they didnt get sued when making midrunner so accrually they could put the chernoble dlc into mudrunner

I really miss this game. I now have SnowRunner, and is good, but it's too ways too arcade for my taste. You can fall over a cliff and only take little damage. Here you crash against a poll and truck gets totally ruined. And all the physics looks more realistic
Looks like a cool dlc! The radiation aswell makes it realistic I think :)
I like the newer versions of spin tires better even though I only have the old one, i want the new one.

Different creators
Mudrunner was developed by other developers
An an original developer that worked for Oovee left to work for Sabre who were developing the game for console which became Mudrunner. Legal issues arose and they went their separate ways.

No but the vehicle can pick up radioactive particles and carry them to other places.
