We just went through the Mexicali border last Friday. Fun Times! We google map to the PEMEX east of the Gate 2 and not worry about the direction from Discovery Baja.
Another fun video! Have done a lot of travel in Mexico, and the worst part is always waiting in line to cross the border back into the U.S. Welcome back, and look forward to your next video!
Welcome Back!! This was so great watching your trip and how yall over came obstacles along the way. The views were so dreamy. Im so glad you made it back safely ❤
You can always fly to the big city like Mexico City, if you’re not experienced driving there then don’t, but don’t let a few things keep you from knowing the whole world out there
Thanks for showing the return through Mexicali since we'll probably be using that crossing this winter. BTW we must have been just days apart in Baja this year. We spent the entire Semana Santa in Santispac. So many people 😃
It's funny because we stopped there going down, and we were like, it's packed. Had no idea what packed was until coming back up during Semana Santa. I think that is probably our favorite rving spot. Sorry we missed you guys.
Hi guys... Your entire adventure was great... We enjoyed watching it... We are so glad you made it back safe... Have to admit we have been concerned considering what's going on.... Stay safe in your travels and keep the videos coming...J&A
You should try a GPS made for RV's especially with the size rig you have, or maybe you enjoy that extra part of the adventure. 😁 Be sure to lock those outside doors, a good bump make that handle pop open.
Less Junk More Journey and their 3 rigs were going to take your idea and stop close to border and cross early next morning at Mexicali but got close and had an itching for Chik Fil A sandwich for supper so breezed right through that evening!
My friend got searched at that checkpoint. They found a pistol he forgot. 60 days in prison, $90k, and lots of family angst later, he finally made it home. Soured me on going back to Baja.
forgot a pistol ? don't blame , Mexico . if you crossed into the U.S. with a forgot pistol , you would do longer than 60 days. though it most certainly wouldn't of cost you $90,000.00 . that sounds like an extremely egregious "fee" to pay, on top of 60 days . that said, and in all honesty its best to not even bother bringing any firearm across the border . you can always buy reasonably priced bigger caliber firearms when you're on that side of the border should you absolutely need it . But , real world if you run into any cartel members you'll neVer have enough firepower for it to matter either way . Baja, is one beautiful place . Respect the land , and the fact that it isn't your's and Leave No Trace . Safe traVels . CA born and raised.
I don't think this was a political video. Enjoy the trip. I love this because I live 15 minutes from mexicali and we have not seen those illegals you fantasize about.
What an adventure, Whew! 😵💫 I'm glad you guys made it back to the good ole US of A safely. Now, I'm looking forward to your journey through Joshua Tree. Continued safe travels and blessings to you.
Something to think about. I saw a video where someone with a large fifth wheel had a rack on the back like yours. He had a generator and a few other things strapped down like you do. After driving through Denver, everything on the rack was gone. Some people were following them, they stopped for a red light, and all their stuff was grabbed. Food for thought!
Guys, I'm from Boston, i lived in Ft Lauderdale, for about 3 years, the summers were brutal, the humidity unbearable, people not very friendly, so, i told my friends, i'm moving back to Boston, and i will never complaint of the winters again, and I haven't.
We’ll, obviously you made it!! It can be very confusing, but you did great. If you guys ever go to Alaska or into Canada, they can be a little more strict. It all depends on the agent at the time. Going to Alaska you will cross the borders several times. Here are some tips for you. Of course have your passports ready, take off your sunglasses ( driver and all passengers, we have been asked to remove sunglasses and hats) they want to see you. Lower all windows, they want to see everyone in the vehicle. No joking with them. Respond to questions with as little amount of words as possible. Don’t tell them about You Tube. I have been asked what I do for a living in the US. They usually ask where you are going, how long you will be there, and what you will be doing while in their country. Just tell them you are on vacation. With You Tube you make money, or you could be considered to be working, which is a no no without the proper visas. Just don’t mention it. Don’t let them see if you are recording. It can be stressful to cross the borders, so do your homework before you go and you will be fine. I really enjoy your videos and I’m looking forward to what comes next with you guys. Stay safe and happy travels!!
I haven't been down to San Felipe in 25 years. Wow, it's really built up! It used to be a two lane highway with no services from Mexicali all the way down. The Mexicali/ Calexico crossing was only a single lane 😮 How did Pemex run in your truck? Did you need an additive? How bad were the ticks & fleas for the dogs? You should like Joshua Tree. My father was stationed at 29 Palms way back in the 70's. P.S. - Do Y'all listen to Christian Bands? What playlists or CD's did you listen to for this road trip? I like 3rd Day and Jeremy Camp 🤩
I had no issues with the fuel, luckily. I was worried at first, but it did great. Our dogs take flea and tick meds to help with that. And we do listen to Christian bands, but I have to say I'm usually lazy and just pick a pre-made playlist on spotify lol.
I love your videos but waze is better than google to show you how to get to the border, I live in Mexicali and the quickest route is half a block from my house literally, when I cross that is how I roll and fun fact, that plane you showed that was crashed was crashed on purpose to see the damage a plane can take and was on National Geographic a while back, but keep putting up videos and I'll keep watching and I don't even own an RV
Unrelated. I saw a video where Craig said Five Guys was better than In and Out. As a life long In/Out Californian I'm going to try Five Guys. Let's see about Craig's taste buds. 🍔
Is this Mexicali East? Mexicali West Google directions will put you in the sentry lane. My last West crossing was confusing as hell also but I did not tow my trailer.
He chases cars the entire ride is the short answer. But I would encourage you to watch the who is Wildrvlife video for the longer answer. Thank you for watching.
Do you know, that Mexicali is one of the hottest cities in the world? well, it is unders sea level, and doesn't rain very much, the other city is Hermosillo Sonora, they call it "the sun city", because 365 days of the year have sunshine, it rains more than Mexicali.
While they are both border collies, only Leeland goes into major herding mode in the vehicle and will try to herd the passing cars 😂 and if not contained, he runs around in circles and will jump at the windows, etc…which is just very distracting and not so safe while driving 😅
I'll tell you something how you fix it when you do have that dude you make sure they both Bond Man what both you know what I mean and you just called back and then we'll just be easy and make sure it's all night. They're going to turn on
Actually, they tell you crates are the best for traveling dogs in case you are in an accident. Dogs can’t run off or not bite someone because of fear. Etc. etc. I don’t like crates either but you do what is best for the dogs as a pet owner and I think that’s what Craig and Victoria are doing. Leland is comfortable in his crate and doesn’t have anxiety.
More question when you got to take portable water on that s*** you got to have water and at least half full and sewage water in there you know not fool why it needs to happen because in case you get broken down with at least wash your motherfuking and take a shower don't b******* me go wmp at all that dude you to bring for that shity Easter never have bought that
Only my homie will go and my God damn God knew we had to saprissa nose and what about your wife or what about your wife about yourself pictures of you two motherfuker what's up okay baby cool be cool to man
How many visitors fucken tired wife knowing everything I was like God damn I want to hear this s*** no more man what the f*** you mean where I parked in the middle of the lake
Then one day I got f***** up and I'll take it off you goes you haven't hit the trigger sure I did and I'm gone where's the f****** trailer you left it over there let me go get it
GM, an angel was on your shoulder on your south of the border trip. The Cartel just shot and killed 11 people in Baja. You have no protection down there from the local police. Have a Blessed day!
oh, that's not nice at all . and btw ~ if you think you have protection from any metropolitan CA police , you're fooling yourself. respect is the cardinal rule in all countries and languages. stay on path, leave no trace, and keep it moVing.
If ever again in mexicali u guys must get some Mexican food... mexicali has the best tacos, lamb tacos n carne asada!! So left line Sentry, middle is for ppl w passport card or book n left line ppl w only birth certificate n regular id.
oh by the way you never left America you left the USA but not America, the USA is not America by it's self America is from the north pole to the south pole yes all of South America and all the way up to North of Canada is America
When going across the border they have so many sense heat detection and listening detection they can even hear you talking in the car :)

We just went through the Mexicali border last Friday. Fun Times! We google map to the PEMEX east of the Gate 2 and not worry about the direction from Discovery Baja.
Nice. I'm glad to hear you made it through with no issues.
Another fun video! Have done a lot of travel in Mexico, and the worst part is always waiting in line to cross the border back into the U.S. Welcome back, and look forward to your next video!
It was definitely much longer than the line on the way in! 😆 and thank you so much for coming along on our adventures!
Welcome Back!! This was so great watching your trip and how yall over came obstacles along the way. The views were so dreamy. Im so glad you made it back safely ❤
Thank you so much for watching!!
Thank you so much for confirming 100% that there is no way I want to go to Mexico!

You all are definitely my favourite power couple.
You both rock!!🎉🎉🎉

That is because ALL the Criminald have come here.
Enjoy..😝
We only come across your channel. Looks like you guys are having a good time. We are looking forward to watch more from you 😊

We have one and love it for the United States! (The RV Garmin) but we couldn’t get it to work in Mexico for some reason
Glad yall made it back safe and had a great trip!
You guys have some hilarious blurbs in this episode. Welcome home!
Hey! Im on the other side of Mexicali. Imperial Valley. 😊
Glad you guys made it back safe. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
Thank you. It was a very fun time in baja.
Less Junk More Journey and their 3 rigs were going to take your idea and stop close to border and cross early next morning at Mexicali but got close and had an itching for Chik Fil A sandwich for supper so breezed right through that evening!
We are in Temecula, stop here after Joshua Tree and help us with tile. I am sure you can do it. We have lots of room for your rig and full hookups.

By the way, I'm thoroughly impressed you'all younguns contribute to the Church, I don't see you and Chris drinking either, that's nice too.
Hey it’s always an adventure with or without Google maps!
Absolutely!!!
I am really enjoying your journey. You are right in my back yard, I live about 30 minutes from the national park. Hope you have a great time.

We lived in North Florida and the people up there are generally very friendly, we enjoyed it, but I know exactly what you mean about the humidity! 🥵
Have a good trip

I love twenty miles north of Calexico where you crossed over into 😂
Heading to Tallahassee this morning. Live across the border in South GA
Nice, we are from there. I still think the traffic there is one of the worst
Welcome back!
Thank you!! 😄
Welcome home!

That’s the Rio Hardy. It’s the end of the Colorado river. Check out Baja Oasis just up from there. Great guy Justin Strong owns it.
Good info couple…
We have enjoyed your videos, have you had any troubles out of your Dodge diesel? Looking to buy a diesel truck. Thanks for any info

Run for it!!! Run forest run!!
Oh my! 🤞🤞
Is this Mexicali East? Mexicali West Google directions will put you in the sentry lane. My last West crossing was confusing as hell also but I did not tow my trailer.
Do NOT run 😂. And yes. Much more intense coming back. Lane choice is critical
Definitely run! 😂
I had my running shoes ready. 😆
Rv GPS are worth the money.
Yes, we love our RV Garmin! But we couldn’t get it to work in Mexico for some reason. Probably needed to download some additional maps or something
Why is only one dog locked in a cage? I'm new here!

I'll tell you something how you fix it when you do have that dude you make sure they both Bond Man what both you know what I mean and you just called back and then we'll just be easy and make sure it's all night. They're going to turn on
It's sucks going back to USA, cuz border patrols can be nasty. Especially if you get in wrong lane.
We were so scared about getting in the wrong lane!! We heard so many stories of bad experiences with it
It gets up to 120 F and sometimes you go to secondary inspection and border patrol can be really slow
run LOL
Why is that poor dog locked in the crate.. how long was he in that box?.🙄🙄
He lives there permanently and loves it!
