Hi thankyou so much for showing the rugs l live in Australia and find it hard to find things here l also cross stitch latch hook and use to quilt l never thought about useing a pattern to do a punch needle rug l was going to take my books to a op shop but have decided to keep them cos it’s hard to get kits and charts here l was going to not give it a go and felt let down to the point of saying nope a lot of people on ytude what you to pay to do a course and they don’t explain things on there video or just repayat themselves today l thought let’s try one more time and found you but you have answered so manying of my questions and helped me so much wish some of the lady’s on ytude and Facebook groups where like you thankyou thankyou so much for showing me it’s not hard and you can use pictures around the house my son who is 21 did a painting when he was 4 l will be doing that next with his old woollen school jumper cos of your kindness and love and sharing you have done so much for me l will never forget you both thankyou also one more thing it’s hard to get frames here just thought to myself l have my quilting hoop at my mums lol going to bring it home lol

Rachael - Thank you for the encouragement! If you have any questions or suggestions of topics for videos, please let us know. and yes, it is not hard! it just takes practice, and the more you do it, the more you will learn. One of my favorite things to tell people is that compared to cross stitch, rug hooking is much easier - you don't need to work all those ends into the back. You just pull your ends to the top and snip!
