I used to raised african lovebirds before, i noticed if that baby bird is handfeed by yourself chances are they comeback , that's i experience literally they will back to the owners when i have those albs.

put some seeds for it outside the cage where its stands or make a small cage trap with a open door which it can enter to eat or thin wire thin a fish rod wire where it stand it can wrap its leg around it as long as it comes near the other birds it wont fly away
You need to block up the openings under the galvanize that you can see through, as they will squeeze out of any space if they munch on the wood. Your farm is lovely and I enjoy your videos so much, thanks for sharing!

Ik heb er nu al zo'n vertrouwen in dat ik er nu zelf af en toe een paar in free flight laat gaan omdat ik weet dat ze terug komen tegen de avond omdat ze honger krijgen.
Put a small open cage with food in it, you can also place a small cage with the mum in it inside of the bigger cage, it will keep coming back or you can wet it down making it unable to fly. I will look to the end of the video as I always do .
Sorry about your bird, maybe you can try putting some feed abd a trap outside. For your cockatails, you can put chickem wire over the metal to prevent rats from entering
Considering your rat problem, there is a rat bait,comes in a small green box, the rat will eat it, that it will go for water and die. Put it away from your animal's so they will not eat it. Love your videos

Come on dexter the only thing you need to do is safeguard your animals from predators!!!... you should spare no expense and devote all the time needed to protect these defenseless animals you have in those cages...its your obligation!!

You should have waited till nightfall before attempting to catch it. It is much easier to catch it when it's dark. Just use a flashlight.

Why don't you wait for night time and try to catch it. It really difficult to catch it if it's seeing you.
Try to catch him during the night without use of light just let him there do not disturb him so he will not fly far away

Any bird that stays around you should wait until its night time. The bird is less likely to fly away in the dark

How about you train some of your bird's not fear people so that they can interact with bird's on the farm
