Hi, how often do I have to replace the filter?? Is there anything else needing frequent replacement ?? Would greatly appreciate a reply , greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Good afternoon, while every household will be different we usually suggest replacing the filters every 2-4 weeks. As far as other parts that would need to be replaced would be the pre-filter. This will not need to be changed as frequently as they can be rinsed and cleaned out.
We're happy to hear the cats are loving their new fountain! Water changes are typically done based on your cats individual use. Some customers add fresh water daily and rinse the fountain out once a week or so. Your experience may differ depending on your cats individual needs.
A few questions. One, what kind of soap to wash this with? Two, where did you get the brushes to clean this with? And three, what's the water capacity? Thank you for your help.
Thank you for these questions, Charles! You can use any standard hand soap to wash your fountain; we do recommend rinsing thoroughly afterward to remove any soap residue. The brushes used in this video can be found here- store.petsafe.net/drinkwell-fountain-cleaning-kit This fountain holds 60 oz. of water. If you have any further questions, please let us know! Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our current hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 6 P.M. EST and Saturdays 9 A.M.- 5 P.M. EST.
Thank you for asking about this! The water will bubble automatically when the pump is plugged in. If your pump is not operating, please reach out to our Customer Care team directly so we can troubleshoot with you.
We're so sorry these last steps were not included! Yes, you would fill the fountain until the water level at least fully covers the pump, then plug the fountain in. If you have any further questions or there's anything we can help you with, please reach out to our Customer Care team directly!
We are always happy to help. As far as the water change, this may vary from household to household and pet to pet. We would suggest changing the water whenever you feel it appears dirty.
Thank you for this question! Though the tower does settle solidly into place with connection of rubber pieces in the center of the tower, as can be seen starting at around 1:55, it does not snap or lock into place and so could be dislodged by repeated force. We do apologize for any difficulty this may cause.
I just bought this and I’m having trouble with leaking. I followed the step by step and made sure to flip the rubber seal down over the wire…. I keep getting huge puddles (and it’s not my cat making a mess because I observed it leaking from the bottom) :( any suggestions?
We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty with your fountain, Kendall! If you've fully removed the fountain from any area your cat would have access to and there's still water underneath it, this would indicate an issue we need to further troubleshoot. So that we can do so, please send pictures showing the interior of your fountain with the tower portion removed to the e-mail listed in your manual or on our website. Once we're able to take a look, we can determine how to proceed.
This was so helpful

Judy bought this! My two cats LOVE it. How often should I completely replace the water?

Wouldn't it be smart just to include the cleaning kit with the fountain and adjust the price accordingly? Save the buyer a step.
How do you get the water to go

So after building up at 2:05 I put water in and connect the plug ?

Does the tower attach to the base, or does it just kind of sit there?(My cat has a tendency to knock stuff over.)
