Genuinely happy with bringing Félix back to the club, one of the rare bright spots at the club while he was here two seasons ago. While his stock and reputation isn't at the highest at the moment, he has absolutely been blighted by poor early career decisions and poor player management too. I think he would suit the more fluid and dynamic system that Maresca will employ and he will be able to link well with wingers like Madueke, Mudryk and now Neto who have the pace to play off his creativity. Just my amateur, armchair analysis but happy to have Joao back at the club, genuine quality.

Didn't think Joao Felix would be back at Chelsea but it's a good signing and he fits perfectly into Maresca's system he will bring more creativity to the team as well as goals just need to wrap up Osimhen and it's been a great window

Osimhen is not that good - that is why no other team is interested. He is a good striker but not a 300k + per week high fee player.

I watch Italian football and I know everything there is to know bout it. Chiesa is not some washed player that’s past his best no one think of him like that and he isn’t that. He’s world class but had a ALC injury kept him out for over a year he came back and played out of position the whole season and still showed he’s world class this is a player worth 90£M but his contract is up next summer AND he they can’t agree wedge demands because juve are in a rebuild and don’t want to be paying 13M a season for him. English fans that aren’t in tune seem to think he’s washed because of his value when you’re all wrong.

Would be gutted if Madueke is sold. He is developing potentially elite levels to his game. He is now a mentality monster. Poch has now instilled that in him. Just by his interviews and practice sessions alone, you can see his ambition to reach a higher standard. Witnessing that global admiration Cole is getting from his signature celebration, endearment and his soundbite which kicked off everything. Noni wants that. He's not as limited as Mudryk or Sterling or even Sancho, he's hungrier. He's now impacting games with every action, whether it's running into the box, unsettling defenders or creating havoc. He's got the composure to take penalties, developing his cutting in ala Salah, takes free-kicks. He could potentially be our Saka or Olise. Players just need stability to settle, not this constant upheaval hence why players like Havertz, Guehi, Hall etc. eventually go onto blossom. We sell this lad and we'll regret it.

I find the wording on those debriefs very interesting. Chelsea willing to go after Osimhen "on their terms". I'm interpreting "their terms" as meaning Chelsea are not prepared to break their wage structure to sign Viktor so it'll have to be Viktor that compromises and lowers his salary demands.
For Chelsea to give in to Osimhen's salary demands of 11/12 million per year, (210-231k/week) it will break Chelsea owners ambition on a strict wage structure of 150k/week.
In addition to that, it has the potential side effect of pushing players like Palmer and perhaps others to become disgruntled employees, especially Palmer who just signed his pay bumper deal this past week which was reportedly to be for 130k/week.
This chain of events could trigger Palmer seeking another pay raise equal to Osimhen and if we follow this domino effect out, hypothetically of course, other players will ask for more after Palmer, etc etc.
In addition to all of this - Osimhen coming to Chelsea effectively benches Clearlake favourite Nicholas Jackson who the club was recently boasting was valued nearly 80 million.
Would Chelsea be prepared to bench Jackson, potentially cashing in on the player prematurely? Remember several weeks ago we were all briefed that Chelsea did not want to replace Jackson at striker, only bring in some help for him instead.
Either the reports then were inaccurate or Chelsea has done a 180 and now want to replace Jackson at striker.
In order to replace Jackson at striker, they need to spend big on the transfer fee, break their wage structure and run the risk of a chain reaction of players either disgruntled and/or requesting wage increases as a direct result.
For these reasons, I don't see Chelsea signing Osimhen unless - "their terms" comes to fruition meaning, Viktor reduces his wages to an acceptable figure to which Clearlake can agree to it without any of the potential side effects explained above.
I have a feeling that's exactly what the report today was referring to "Chelsea want Osimhen on their terms".
In regards to Sterling and Chiesa swap - this is interesting. It didn't elaborate on what wall they ran into in the discussion of the players switching sides. If I had to speculate here, I'd say the wall they ran into was Sterling enjoying living in London, with his family on 325k/week. What's the incentive to move his family to Turin? I don't see any pressure being put on him to leave and as long as Mudryk is his primary form of competition, he'll continue to get minutes. I personally don't see Neto being particularly efficient from the left, doesn't play there often as a quick look up on Football Critic showed he's played just twice there in the past 50 matches. Anytime I watched Wolves play, if Neto was actually playing, it was always on the right.
I would imagine Juventus and Chelsea could restart this discussion again in the near future only if Sterling was on board with moving, otherwise, I suspect we won't hear this again - and that is if it's even true or not. Bit of a left field this one by Di Marzio.
As for the theory Chelsea will play the long game and get their man to compromise - I doubt this is a successful strategy when other clubs still want Viktor. If Napoli lower their valuation, Arsenal will be all over it and personal terms wouldn't be an issue.
Also, despite PSG "exiting" the race for Osimhen, the player reportedly (ESPN/Plettenberg) have said Osimhen wants the PSG move so hard to rule out PSG until it's actually over.
I personally can't see Osimhen deal happening as personal terms are not practical and neither is replacing Jackson by moving him to the bench.
That said, since we've heard Osimhen wants a PSG move - I could see a hypothetical situation in where Chelsea target Muani from PSG which allows PSG then to go get Osimhen.
This is more likely a possibility than Clearlake breaking wage structures. In fact, something like this, after all that reporting drumming up "interest and excitement" with fans over Osimhen, has Clearlake modus operandi written all over it.
Useless as Osimhen is a Napoli player with a clause of 130 Mlns. Cash, like it or not it’s a Napoli decision!

But now atletico madrid is pressuring us into signing felix to get the Gallagher deal through. But there is a risk in dragging Osmihen's deal till the last days of the window, that is if PSG decided to come back in, or if Arsenal decided to hijack the move, and they do not have a stupid wage structure like the one we have, they would be willing to pay him the salary he's asking for...

2. Chelsea will pull out of the oshimhen deal last minute and brief us that, they believe Felix and guiu will help when needed.
