I really don’t know what kind of manager Enzo may turn out to be tactically in the long run. But this press conference was a breathe of fresh air. No BS, No waffling, straight to the point. Kudos to Enzo! I really hope we thrive under him! Up the Chels!!

Yes, he is senior and experienced, yet he never acts like what he should be.
Remember he fought to shoot the penalty. His up-and-down ego on the pitch.
He gives a statement before a City's match cause being left out of the squad.
He shows bad character to the youngster tbh.
Appreciate much for Gallagher, he is young and never complains about playing time. When he was in the England squad, he never said any words against Chelsea until now his gone. He still putting a nice words for the club and the fans.

I tell you something. I was not feeling confident for Mareska but now changed my mind. Well said and well done Enzo. Finally a proper manager telling things the way it is. Truth and nothing but the truth. You are not good enough, you are on high wages, bye and see you later. Chilwell a nice guy but not good enough and getting injured all the time. Bye and see you later. All correct decisions. Manager show the problems in preseason and first game and realized that have to do something and finally owners took correct decision. Brave Mareska we are with you on this. Now all the team must come together and play like a machine and win win win. This is similar to what pep did in his first season at city. Hart was one of the top keepers in the EPL and pep just cut him out, he also ended Yaya toure's career at city. I was one of the guys who didn't understand why a player like Yaya toure should be sold by Pep but he knew what he was doing all along. So let's sit and watch how marasca is doing

Still not convinced by Maresca. When he signed for Chelsea, he told the board he's interested in a SYSTEM and not players. Even if he says all of that, the board still have control. We could see that in the Man City game. Everyone and their mother could see that Enzo Fernandez didn't do well in the game, but he still played 90 minutes. Have you asked yourself why?
Cos the board probably asked him to, it's not rocket science, players like him are huge investments, from a business and marketing perspective its easy to understand, so it doesn't matter if players like him are performing well or not they have to play so their stock and value can increase then they get sold for profit, that's it. people can feels uncomfortable all they want cos of this statement, but no one can say the analysis doesn't make sense!
Enzo and his price tag will cost the club a top four finish. It's clear to see he's performing poorly in this Chelsea side and his performances are translating into dropped points. It's beyond me how he even got the captaincy; head coach must have been like, 'hey we have the same name, here's a captain's armband'.
He started under-performing from the days of Poch, we cut him some slack when news dropped he had been playing in pain. He stepped aside to get his issue sorted (during which time Pochettino's team picked up form and got amazing results, coincidentally). He showed us a few lackluster performances at Copa America, did the whole Instagram video scandal thing, made a decent pre-season showing then had the poorest display on the pitch in the first game of the season; a classic disasterclass in the 10 role that's so pivotal to this team's success. May Maresca's newfound ruthlessness brutally locate him and bench him for us to get back to UCL.

Its not about who had a better pre season. Sterling earns abou triple of mudryks salary and is supposed to be our best player and in his prime. Mudryk is young with potential and will get better while sterling will decline

Ironically, Sterling had a pretty good preseason and had every right to think he had a good shot for a starting role. Maresca almost certainly had already decided his fate before the US games.
Thing is he always plays well in pre season. But when the real season starts it looks like he’s only playing for himself, and this reaction definitely shows he’s a tantrum throwing child, just like when he tried to take those penalties. He’s just a b word I’m not going to use here, I’m glad he’s going, never have I ever got as annoyed as I have with him with anyone else

It doesn’t matter if they are on 5 yr contract or 8 years, if Chelsea want to get rid of you, they will. The main reason why it’s hard to sell players is of the wages not the contract length
I know this is somewhat controversial but Joao Felix is a superb addition to the squad and I know people will say we have enough attackers, but the important thing is the quality of said attackers. Raheem Sterling being banished from Chelsea is the best thing that can happen for us and for him. He needs a fresh start and we need less attackers.

A Coach who is barely four months on his job has banished one of Chelsea attackers, Sterling. Gallagher is not playing and he has been sold. Gallagher scored spectacular goals last season. He was strong at the Midfield. Chalaba is likely not needed too. Is the Coach ready to succeed at Chelsea? Time will tell.

I think the way Enzo Maresca had reacted to older players like Sterling not needed in the team will make the Directors realise the importance of the Coach input in the kinda players that's brought into the club.
