This channel is carrying my a level psychology grade. I would not be able to complete yr 12 and move onto yr 13 without this channel, I’m doing mock exams in June. Thank you for all of the videos and playlists breaking down topics that large at first but now I’m confident on paper 1 and 2 and am going to continue to get knowledge from here in yr 13 and how to best do paper 3 from the other videos when I get to it
Sat my first paper for psych year 12 yesterday and this channel has been such an amazing help in my revision! When i tell you ive spent the entire year dreading exams and being a D-C student to now (FINGERS CROSSED!) massively improving my grades i mean it. This is such a great resource for setting everything out clearly thank you so much.
i can understand everything in psychopathology but cant get my head around the SSRI process in drug therapy of the biological approach to treating OCD.
Heya, new approaches videos are in the editing process. There are other videos I want to get out before the exams, so I'm not sure if all the new approaches videos will be out before this year's exam
Yeah, all done, I combined the explanations and treatments for each psychopathology so there are fewer videos all together now. But I will likely upload an updated summary revision video soon
I dont know who is telling you that you need it for OCD. It's not required by AQA. in the spec this section says "The biological approach to explaining and treating OCD: genetic and neural explanations; drug therapy." you can read it for yourself in the link at the bottom of this comment That's what you can be asked about directly in the exam. I included it as an evaluation point, but other evaluations I didn't include are just as valid. I wouldn't use diathesis-stress in the A01 as there is just so much else you can talk about. Are you thinking about schizophrenia? it is required A01 for that. www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/psychology/as-and-a-level/psychology-7181-7182/subject-content-a-level/introductory-topics-in-psychology

Hello. Will you be predicting questions for the exam?
heya, I dont do that and here is a video I made explaining why ruclips.net/video/31Fprw51jX4/видео.html 😁
