Chris, saw a few videos of your and I gotta say I think you've just became my favorite youtuber! Your content is amazing! ❤️
Wow that you that’s high praise!! I’m glad you have liked the videos!
Great video! I just got a sun 600 and it was working great. Then the charging light on it is staying red and not taking any photos with the flash, not sure if you ever ran into that issue. I switched the battery/film but it still seems the same. Let me know if have any suggestions please!
Awesome!
I am now subscribed!
Thanks Chris 😊👍🏻🍺
Glad to have you on board!!!
Me personally I am looking into grabbing the Fuji Instax Wide 300 like the "wider look" and film size....but the Mini Evo is certainly cool as well...wonder what that new Fuji Mini 99 will be specs wise..this might release next year according to Fujirumors site..lol
i really enjoyed the course ! learnt alot 🎉
That’s awesome!! I’m glad to hear it!
It's quite hard for me to choose between Mini Evo and Wide 300. I love the printing option on Mini Evo since I love to take multiple shots for comparison but I personally feel that mini film is too small which Wide 300 would compensate
Hi Chris, I'm contemplating getting the Mini Evo. Does it contain printed instructions that I can easily refer to? Or do I have to go on the internet to find out how to use it?
just commenting for the reach and algo - You helped me decide on a present for my fiance! Great review
Awww well thank you! Glad my videos have helped!
I'm not completely new to instant photography bc my sister had an instax mini that I've used before. But I wanna buy my own and I was thinking about the Polaroid SX-70 because I love that it folds so I can take it on the go.
well yeah go for it
as a proffesional slovak traveler i believe that i want to perserve my memories in flim, that's why i came here for help. I do want to buy a polaroid because i like the style of the Polaroid cameras, and already made me a list including a Polaroid Go gen2, a case for the thing and some film. (still saving up the euro's ;-;)
Keep the videos/ live streams coming!!!
I intend to!
Not to be a downer, but I am currently feeling bad about the recent Fuji cameras ... my Mini 19 and Mini 11 died within a year, the EVO died after 1.5 years (all out of warranty) My Mini 40 died and it took three times to get one to sorta work ... always open in selfie mode ... I have no faith in their current models ... I actually have more dead Fuji cameras than dead Polaroid cameras, i am so tired of supporting companies that use the model of disposable cameras!!! My Fuji Lil Play is starting to show the pixel problems that were there before the EVO died ... amazingly enough my Lomo Auto has worked the best out of every Instax camera!!!
Oh wow! Thats terrible im so sorry. I have square one that ive had for three years, a wide one from 2016 that i dropped and still works and a mini too. I dont think your experience is reflective of the average buyer but its definately not fortunate and im sorrh u went through that
@@kacydeyoe9764 I just think that the current crop of Fuji Instax cameras are of lower quality ... My SQ6 works, My Wide 300 works and I recently picked up a Mini 70 that works. i think that the newer style of cameras that the close-up function "pops" out is not good ... all the ones I had with the newer style broke.I have been an instant film fan since 1970 when i got my Polaroid Colorpack II (still works, but no affordable film available) ... my Lomo Instax cameras work fine as well!!!
I have had the same experience. I used my first instax for close to 10 years. Since it died, i've been through 4 different instax cameras. I got the EVO about a year ago, and am less than impressed with the image quality. Almost all photos i shoot on it come out brown, dark, and underexposed. Really disappointed with the camera/tiny sensor Fuji used on the Evo.
@@maxcoleman6104did the image get worse overtime or it wasnt good from the start ? I bought mine recently and tought the picture quality is quite good for a 200dollar camera
Have you tried changing the camera exposure? Or could it be the lens effect or even the filter you accidentally added? There was a day when all my photos were coming out out of focus, I accidentally turned the lens and changed the effect. Whenever I have a problem, I just change the settings until I find the right combo@@maxcoleman6104
Great recommendations for beginners. Instant photography can be tough at the beginning.
I'll get for Christmas polaroid go as it's the smallest camera rn and I could take it with me everywhere I go :)
Also thinking about getting Lomo'instant with glass lens cameras (instax mini & square film) next month or two.
I was sooo busy with my new job that I totally forgot about taking pics (slr680 is crying with some film in it) :O wish me luck with getting back to business :D
Haha well good luck!! Now shoot that film in the 680 before it goes bad!!
New intro? Nice
How about the mini 12?
Chris, can you please make review of the Instax Mini 99.
Thank you 🙏🏼!!
It’s on the list
Does the Mini 9 (or 11) save photos? Or only the EVO? Seems like an issue if you can save/pick which photos to shoot.
no they do not its a film camera. The EVO does because its a digital camera that has a film printer built in.
I got for christmas polaroid 600 that from late 90s 🙂 somehow used fuji to expensive than polaroid 🤔🤷♀️ still want for myself fuji square 🙂
Get get yourself a instax square
Wish I liked mini film but just too small
Hi chris i am still deciding to get an instax mini 11 for Christmas but i feel the film is kinda expensive…..how do i use the film effectively?
Great question and I made something for everyone with that same struggle its called master the art of instant photography PLUS I have it on sale till Christmas. Here is a free lesson from it. Hope it helps. ruclips.net/video/6bsGmBu9Ewg/видео.html
Dude, I bought a polaroid impulse af. I didn't test it yet but I'm pretty excited for that. Was it a great choice?
I don’t know how to answer this 😅 I guess if it works then yes it was a good choice. If it doesn’t work then no it wasn’t.
Hi Chris I've been enjoying your videos. I have a very particular question for you. I got my son an Evo for gift and plan to gift him some fun film but a new unopened pack fell on the ground and my husband accidentally stepped on it. I wanted to know if you know what happens to the film if the casing is pressed on but not broken?
Unfortunately if the casing is broken it won’t fit in the camera anymore plus light would get in and ruin the film.
@@JustAnotherChris casing isn't ruined form what I can feel. But even so I wonder if the film inside would be ruined.
Ótimo vídeo! O filme da Evo é mais largo do que da insta mini. Ou é do mesmo tamanho? Obrigada 👍👍
It’s the same film
Thank u
You’re welcome!
2:28 wren from @Corridor ?
Indeed 🤓
I’m no fan of Leica but I will say Leica has reproduced far better color accuracy from the sensor. Is that worth the extra money? You have to decide.
Have you used it to confirm those claims?
@@JustAnotherChris I have not. Just like I trust your reviews for integrity, I trust others who have done side by side comparisons with color, iso, etc.
Does printing on the Evo take as long as on the Kodak Mini 3? The Kodak is a bit cheaper
No it doesn’t. They’re both different processes entirely.
I’m torn between the sq6 or the sq40 what’s the overall better pick?
SQ6 has more features the 40 is a stripped down version
Wanting to buy one in the next day for my girlfriend for her birthday next week. Im torn between the sq6 and the mini evo. What fo you think? Its her first instant camera.
For a first timer the EVO is your best bet.
@@JustAnotherChris Thank you!
do you and In An Instant synchronise uploads?
We do not
My Mini Evo saved me a ton of films because my photography skills is really bad LMAO
can the mini 8 also suffice?
im looking for yellow, yellow honey, or the yellow clear models under 50 because its my favorite color
Why not just puchase the Fuji Instax printers and print photos from your phone? I'm having a blast taking photos with my iPhone and printing to either Square or Wide Instax printers...!
Nothing wrong with that. But the video is about cameras and those aren’t cameras.
Polaroid isnt for beginners ?
For someone starting out I wouldn’t send them to polaroid. Instax is cheaper and much easier to shoot and handle.
I like the instax wide better
Me too! But For people just getting into the hobby I wouldn’t send them there. Its more expensive
@@JustAnotherChris $99 on Amazon right now. I mean. The film is more expensive than an instax mini on eBay.
First
Damn he was actually first 😔😔
if fujifilm comes out with instax SQUARE evo (instead of mini)... now we're talking #takemymoney
Check out the SQ10
@@JustAnotherChris Holy it's 6 years ago! Is it just me or is Fujifilm not investing in this kind of medium for more development?!
Just get a used digital camera, End of Story
